We have used Zac for several jobs over the past few years including boiler service. We asked Zac to quote for replacement of the boiler, which he did promptly, explaining what was involved and readily dealing with our questions in detail in a friendly and helpful manner. The work was fairly priced, completed on time and exactly as promised. Zac and his team are professional and while there is bound to be disruption with this type of job the way they worked gave us confidence in them. Work done entirely to our satisfaction and they cleaned up after they had finished. He is just what we are looking for in a tradesman and we shall certainly use him again.

A number of problems have arisen as a result of Zac's installation of a new boiler. A leak appeared on the hot water pipe coming out of the boiler. I had this assessed by another qualified reputable heating engineer and had it confirmed that this leak occurred as a result of a poor soldering join. He also advised that this pipe was fitted too close to the wall making it very difficult to correct the problem. His general opinion was that the installation was not done to a good standard. A banging noise had been apparent for a while which we told Zac about, he had little help to offer. After having this pipe refitted by this other engineer the banging noise has now disappeared. The condensate pipe was fitted completely horizontal with no fall whatsoever. This means when we get very cold weather the water inside freezes up very easily, backing up and causing the boiler to shut down. Very easily solved by fitting it with a fall. It took a year for Zac to fill a hole that he forgot to fill during initial installation, and there are still gaps around the fitted pipes going straight through to outside. He broke the bottom cover of the boiler and said nothing, still denying it when no one else has ever touched the boiler but him. His approach has been to just deny that all these problems were caused by him, despite the fact that no one else has ever worked on the boiler until the new heating engineer, and that I have all the evidence in front of me. Very disappointing avoid!

A shower screen and shower were added to an existing bath. The work was completed in good time, efficiently and with no mess. I would thoroughly recommend Huckin and Co.

Zac serviced my boiler for the second year running, he is a very nice person who I trust to do a good job, he is very easy to contact and turns up on time, I thoroughly recommend him.

We have used Zac for several small jobs over the past few years - replacing an isolator valve, capping a gas supply that was no longer needed, fixing a radiator valve, replacing a shower thermostat, replacing a leaking header tank, and servicing the gas boiler. For each of these he has quoted fairly, came when planned, and done each job efficiently and expertly. He's knowledgeable, approachable, trustworthy and a good communicator. Recommended with no hesitation.

So glad I did as he quoted a fair price, turned up on time and carried out the job in a cheerful and helpful manner. There was a problem with some radiators which he investigated and made some adjustments, explained what he was doing and recommending the next step if the problem persisted. He has a good attitude and I shall certainly use him again.

Zac gave a fair and competitive price. He arrived promptly and kept me informed throughout. Zac is friendly and approachable. He also uses local suppliers. He fitted a new electric shower and enclosure. Retiled where needed. Replaced Saniflo, toilet and tap and fitted a new extractor fan. Zac is neat and tidy and took all waste at the end of the job. I am extremely pleased with the work which was completed quickly with minimal disruption Thank you

Zac came promptly at the agreed time. He fitted my new power shower within the time he said it would take. He was very polite and efficient. He left the bathroom clean and tidy and explained the controls. Everything worked first time. I would certainly use him again.
