Very easy to contact and call out for the job. Professional and courteous, despite it being a relatively simple job. I thought the call out fee (for an emergency plumbing job) was clear and fair. The plumber was courteous with my tenant; respected the property, and fixed the problem (a leaking boiler) with minimal fuss. Will use Illustrious in future, most definitely.

Arrived at 8am work completed by 4pm engineer very polite and did a grand job, all rubbish taken away and old boiler so no mess even hovered up afterwards and I can honestly say I am well pleased with the work that was done.

Craig sent a reminder for first annual service and arrived on time as promised, no problem with the boiler all the year after installation and reassurance that he is there if needed in emergency. Has a painless monthly DD which covers the service cost, which very rare and very sensible. What more could you want ?

Craig fitted the boiler a year ago and we got a reminder that a service was due. After booking it, communication excellent including reminders of the forthcoming appointment and afterwards, if everything was satisfactory and we had been happy with the service. Absolutely fantastic service from Craig and the family company, been with them for a few years now and will be with them for many more. I pay £6.00 pcm to spread the cost to help with the bill but there very reasonable overall. Very clean work and accommodating, would fully recommend them to anyone.

Craig from Illustrious came and assessed what we needed as a replacement boiler. One week later he and Lee installed the new boiler. All done very efficiently and tidily - didn't even break for lunch! Great expertise, and very friendly guys. They also recommended an excellent electrician to sort out our immersion heater problem. Highly recommend this firm. Great value for money.

Craig carried out the annual service on our boiler which he installed and which he has serviced for several years. He reminded us well in advance that the service was due. As we have come to expect, he kept us informed about the time of the service, arrived on time, and carried out the work efficiently. He clearly has the necessary expertise, both regarding the boiler itself and the control system. He is very personable and always pleasant to deal with. Craig went above and beyond to fit me in at the last minute when my heating failed; he arrived the same day to find that having a quick look (to ascertain the problem, make a plan) wasn’t possible so arranged to return the next day, at the end of his busy day. He did do so, as promised and caused himself a long day’s work as a result. And was able to restore my heating that evening. Meanwhile, he had replied really quickly to my initial ‘phone enquiry and kept me updated on his evolving ETA on the second day.

We are very happy with the Worcester boiler that Craig installed for us. He was very quick to come out and give us a quote, and very adaptable to make it what we wanted. When we accepted the quote, he was quick to arrange an installation date and did a neat, efficient job for about half the price that the biggest installer quoted us (with a 10 year guarantee as opposed to the 5 year that the big boys were offering). All the paperwork was done promptly and we have had confirmation from Worcester that the guarantee is registered with them and from Building Regs that the work is compliant. We will be contacting Craig the next time we need a plumber.

Had my boiler replaced on my in to new home. Impressed the way Craig spent some time, 45 minutes analysing our heating and water systems, checking power, flows, what was good and needed to be changed before making his recommendations. He also volunteered several points to check on with other firms quoting too. This allowed me to filter out some other firms and being quoted for unnecessary work. The solution proposed and quote were competitive with other good companies. I was texted and emailed confirmations of the day of work and on the day he came first thing about 8ish worked all gay till the job was done. A clean worker who tidy’s up and took all the old and redundant parts away at the end. Very professional and competent, happy to recommend.

A new Worcester boiler was fitted by Lee who arrived promptly on the specified day and time. He then worked without a break until installation and the testing process was completed to his satisfaction. This took all day. Everything was left in a tidy state with all debris, old boiler removed. As with the other reviews, the whole process and communication is well supported by emails and texts. Both Craig and Lee were very helpful, explaining what boiler to choose and also the setting up of the control unit. In these days to find a professional plumbing engineering service who can carry out work within a reasonable timescale and budget seems to be a near impossibility, this was a very pleasant suprise so I would certainly recommend this company as a Trusted Trader.
