From start to finish, you guys have been amazing! Nothing has been too much and no question has been a problem. The guys were all brilliant and it couldn’t have gone any more smoothly. They were all super fast and efficient. We were super grateful for all the help and we couldn’t have asked for anymore. Lee was super good with the kids, wanting to help unload on Saturday and let them get involved and that meant a lot. They make moving look easy! Thank you to you for being so kind and patient with us and listening. Once again, just a massive thank you to you all.

Shenda and her amazing team made our move day run extremely smoothly. From the very start of the process, In Excess were clear about what we needed to be do to be ready to move and so accommodating in supplying all the packing materials we needed. The day was not without its challenges...pouring rain all day, a bed that just would not dismantle and a loft room with very little space but the team were completely calm, professional and got everything done so quickly. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Shenda & the amazing removal guys were so accommodating, friendly & professional they made the whole moving experience so less stressful. From the outset of contacting them with my urgent request, (I was let down with my original moving date & had to find a new removal firm just before Xmas was harrowing), Shenda, not only booked me in but assessed my problem with access at the new property. The guys arrived early, and managed to get everything on board with the smaller vans, it was a miracle! Nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend these guys 100%. PS. They even loan you free boxes and give packing materials (Yay).

Efficient quotation and admin, friendly helpful staff in the office. On the big move day everything went smoothly with no fuss. Mattresses covered, beds disassembled, TV’s off wall etc nothing was too much trouble. The removal guys had the job (St Albans to Chipperfield) all done and dusted by 2:30. Can’t thank you enough for such great service on what is a naturally stressful day. Shout out to Shenda for managing the process. Would highly recommend.

I instructed the “In-Excess” team to move me from my two bedroom flat into a house This commenced the day prior to my move, two of the team that were sent out came to my property to pre load my belongings. This was done efficiently and with care. They worked seamlessly as a team to ensure a smooth and effective service was provided. In-Excess handled out move for us in July from Hemel to Northamptonshire and we're superb through the whole process. From our initial phone call to book a survey for a quote all the way through to the final box coming off the van the whole team were a joy to work with. Excellent company to deal with from start to finish, family-run and really felt they cared. These guys slotted me in for a very last minute move. They helped make a very stressful move, far less so and were extremely sensitive to the circumstances of my move. They were polite, careful with all of my furniture and did a brilliant job with wrapping up and moving multiple large-scale pieces of art. I am so, so grateful to Shenda and her team. Thank you!

I was recommended in excess by some friends as they used them only a few months before. Out of the 4 quotes we received for our house move, they were the friendliest, most helpful, and least salesman like of the companies that we spoke to! They were also cheaper! They even deliver boxes to you to use for free as long as you give them back! Shenda in the office made the whole process so much less stressful than a house move could have been! The guys on the day got straight on with the job, they were polite, professional, and speedy! I’d definitely recommend In-Excess to anyone in the herts area if they are moving house .
