We were very impressed with the removal team - especially on moving day. They were very professional, friendly and had such great attitudes. We cannot recommend In-Excess highly enough. After an unnecessarily long conveyancing process, the guys from In-Excess put our minds at rest and made sure our move was stress-free. Moving 200 miles away may seem difficult, but a special mention must go to Lee and Gareth who put in a mega shift and made it look easy. We would give In-Excess 6 stars if we could, Excellent!

In-Excess Removals were simply brilliant. From the initial quote survey, through the whole stressful process of will we/won’t we complete, to moving day itself, they were absolutely fantastic (and very calming!). The quote (we got several) was clear and detailed, and we felt that we were in the hands of experienced professionals who know exactly what they are doing. They provided us with all of the boxes, tape, paper and bubble wrap that we needed to pack up our precious belongings. I couldn’t believe how quickly everything was loaded onto the trucks, and then unloaded at our new home, 60 miles away. Yet this was all done with such care. The guys on the day were polite, friendly and good humoured, which was lovely. They were very careful and respectful of our old home, and our new one. There wasn’t a single breakage, and all of the boxes went to exactly the right rooms. If we ever have to move again, we will be asking In-Excess to move us.

I've used In-excess on a few occasions, as we've moved from rented into our house, then back after a refurb. They have been brilliant. Customer service (I spoke with Shenda, mostly) was first class from all of the office based people. The guys out do the removing were all polite and helpful and we always felt the service was very personal. We have since recommended them to friends and family who also rate them very highly. Thankyou In-Excess for making a stressful time, far less stressful.

Steve couldn't be more accommodating at the quote process. Dawn, Shenda and the office team were great in helping me secure a date when I exchanged contracts. Danny, Daniel and Riley were with me on move day they were great. It was a stressful day and they made it smooth. The banter between the guys was brilliant. They managed to keep the lorry out of the neighbour's way too. They were recommended to me and I would recommend for sure! Thanks guys! You made a stressful day so much easier

In excess were absolutely fantastic with our house move. Shenda and the office team were accommodating and trying to find solutions when we had a couple of hurdles throughout the process. This was the third time we have used In-Excess for moving house over an eight year period. We had a delay with our purchase, which meant that we had to use storage for about a week, but the company was very helpful, and managed to get us moved successfully. This was in spite of the level of activity at the end of March 2025 owing to the changes in Stamp Duty levels.

We use IN-EXCESS removal company 10 days ago when we moved from Hertfordshire to Essex. A more professional, hardworking, courteous, well mannered, comical, excellent time keepers, listened to us, tidy crew we could not have found, they were absolutely brilliant and took some of the stress out of the move, one of the crew even tried to help with a troublesome boiler. We cannot recommend IN-EXCESS Removals highly enough in every aspect, very professional and great Crew.
