Took my car in to have exhaust pipe changed and a suspension bar replaced and a re-MOT. Took car in at 8:30 and had back within 2 hours as stated to me. Very satisfied and job well done gents.

Full service + Front brake pad replacement - Experience

I booked my car in to have a full service on Friday 12th July along with having the front brake pads replaced as it was an advisory on my recent MOT. The car was booked in for 3pm, however I said if they were happy to I will drop the car in earlier in case they can fit it in somewhere and to call me once the work is completed and I will come and pay the balance and collect the car. I dropped the car off for around 11am and awaited a call to say it was ready to be collected. I received the phone call just before 5pm asking if I wanted to leave the car over night and collect in the morning, I said I will come and collect it before they shut at 5.30pm as I needed to use the car over the weekend. Once I received the car after settling the balance of just under £300.00, I took it home and went to change the air filter back to a performance panel filter I use and realised the air filter in the car was the exact same filter prior to the service. I phoned Saturday to explain the situation and the manager phoned me in the afternoon to apologise that when they ordered the filter the incorrect filter arrived and someone should have informed me of this on collection. All I have been offered as an apology is to take the car back to get the correct/new air filter fitted which would then mean me driving 12 miles each way. However the concern I have is, how do I even know a service was completed if this for example was not changed? Very unhappy and will not recommend or use them again.

My car has failed the MOT on 29th May due to brake pads being less than 1.5mm thick Nearside Rear. I was offered a replacement of my brake pads for £94.00 (by IN'n'OUT). At first I agreed and booked an appointment. Than I called my garage that does all the repairs for me and next day I have been told that my rear pads are 6mm thick, front pads 7mm thick. So they didn't need replacing, but if they would, it would cost me £45-50 - so half the price. On 30th May I went back to IN'n'OUT for re-test and there was nothing wrong with my break pads. They apologised but couldn't explain it. I supposed to get a phone call next day due to the man who tested my car was off on that day and back next day but I heard nothing back. Very disappointing.

Have used IN’n’OUT twice now for service and mot. I made a mistake with the mot date so didn’t turn up even though they reminded me! Their response to me was brilliant, they rebooked without any recrimination. They are very professional, fast but thorough and gave good advice. I would definitely use them again in the future. Can’t fault them.

I have been to this garage a few times but not for reoccurring issues, I had a major fault on my suspension to which no other garage could assist, spoke to Rob at in 'n' out, booked me on the day which was a Saturday and ordered the parts and fixed it at amazing price, I've never had such great customer service. Fantastic all round.

Spark plugs are only changed at required intervals or if requested. Manufacturer scheduled servicing and major services can also be quoted on request if this is what you require next time.
