I telephoned Platinum Plumbers late yesterday afternoon as my Mother's boiler was making a strange smell. Unfortunately unable to get to me the same day the Plumber arrived promptly at 8 am this morning, quickly diagnosed the fault, replaced the part and carried out a full test of the system. I cant fault the service that Platinum Plumbers has provided. Responsive service and excellent value for money.

I emailed Platinum Plumbers on 20th May 2021 asking if they were able to carry out a full refit of a small bathroom. I was encouraged by their initial quick reply, and as requested I completed their online form to give them further details. However, since then I have not received any further communication, even though I chased them up with a further email on 28th May. I don't mind if they're not interested in my bathroom refit but as a "Which? Trusted Trader" I would have at least expected the courtesy of a response.

Rob and his team were superb at completing the work (boiler service & safety check) as well as attending to my radiator leak on very short notice. Helpful, friendly and competent.

Platinum Plumbers have fitted a new tap in my kitchen. They were clear in their estimate and kept good communication throughout, leaving me feeling confident in their ability to carry out the work. I was not disappointed. The work they completed was done to a high standard and the work area left clean and tidy. My new tap is beautiful! Simple advice given, also allowed me to sort a couple of other problems that had been causing considerable anxiety. I will be using this company again and will recommend them to friends and family. This is one very happy lady!

They came straight away when I told them about an overflow, it was sorted that day. I asked about another job and was given an estimate, I had the work done the next week. I am very satisfied with the work carried out.

Here's a cautionary tale for those who decide not to choose Platinum Plumbers. Six years ago I had my bathroom modernised at a reasonable price, this included a tiled shower floor, which within 10 months started to leak, this was repaired but I never felt comfortable with it and I decided it was time to get it replaced. I've used Rob and his team a number of times over the last few years so asked him for a quote. He was up front with his assessment advising me what they proposed to do but this was dependent on what they found behind the tiles. Unfortunately as the work progressed we found more and more problems so I decided to have the bathroom completely refurbished. So the morale here is that you get what you pay for! Obviously, Rob had only scheduled a few days for my job and this was going to be bigger than planned, he managed to juggle jobs about and my bathroom was completed within my expectations and to my entire satisfaction. Rob runs a very professional outfit, branded vans, uniforms, decent paperwork. His team are friendly and work very hard and to a good standard, Brian's pipework is particularly impressive! Rob project manages all the jobs and is in consent communication not only with his team having regular audios at the end of each day, but all with the client keeping you informed at all times. Backup and support is on going after completion of the job. Platinum Plumbers are not the cheapest but in my experience are the best!

Fitted new boiler 5 years ago. Regular servicing annually and major service carried out this year along with minor repairs to damaged fittings. Always A1 Service, on time, on competitive price agreed in advance and even cope with a mad Bully in the home. Highly recommended.

I had multiple minor plumbing repairs built up over time and they were able to provide reasonable advice for the ones that needed more extensive work and they repaired other minor issues but they also replaced a shower pump that was leaking. They provided product options and they called me to ensure I understood what was being done and what was needed. I was very happy with the service. All services were reasonably priced. These are the good guys.

Rob, Justin and the rest of the guys are punctual, tidy and polite. Rob ensures that you have as much information as you need to make an informed decision on any job you need doing. I have used this company several times over the last few years, I have always been very happy with the end results and I can highly recommend them to anyone.

I called Platinum Plumbers as my boiler broke down. They responded promptly and fixed an appointment to suit my diary (I was due to go on holiday) as well as theirs. They fixed the fault and provided a full service the same day. I was very pleased with the response and work, and would recommend Rob and his team.

Selected this company on the basis of previous reviews. Water had got in behind the tiles in our loft extension shower which meant stripping out the shower and re-tiling. We also took the opportunity of having the shower and shower tray replaced. Rob explained the pitfalls of doing this type of work and matching up with the rest of the bathroom. Apart from the fact we could not source the same border tiles you would not really know that the work had been done. All the comments made in the above reviews are correct, we were kept advised on all steps and left them to,get on with the job. We would strongly recommend this company

I first used Rob over 10 years ago when we had a problem with the boiler. I was impressed by his professional approach. He (and his then apprentice) committed to and arrived at the appointed time, examined the boiler and explained the problem. He showed me the problem. Then he explained my options and the likey costs involved.I also observed him instructing, guiding and inspecting the work done by his apprentice. He was very thorough. The work was exemplary. (And neat!) I've contuined to use Rob and his team with full confidence ever since then. Highly recommend.
