Rob and Justin have done various jobs for us over the years and we've always been really pleased with their work. We first met them when my landlord used them to fit a new boiler and they did a great job, so when we bought a house 3 years ago we used them to fit a new boiler. Since then they've done a few smaller jobs for us as we've done work on different bits of the house. They always do a great job, they are tidy and clean up after themselves, and communicate well before and during the job. I'd really recommend them.

Platinum were friendly and trustworthy. It was important to me that I felt able to communicate well with the tradesmen working at my property and Platinum always replied to me when I got in touch. We had new radiators and a new boiler fitted and we are happy with the speed and quality of the work. Platinum also chatted through any concerns or ideas we had so that we could come to a conclusion on what to do e.g. best location for a radiator.

We couldn't be happier with the work Platinum Plumbers have done, from the start, helping us decide what would work and what wouldn't in our new bathroom, through to the quality of the work, and of the finish. They kept to their quote, and finished on time, and were extremely diligent and hardworking throughout - as well as being friendly and always courteous. Every little detail was looked after. We will be using them again.

I must say how good it is to come across a company like this, efficient, friendly and punctual. I contacted Rob following a recommendation from a neighbour, he sent 2 of his team Ashley and Jamie within 24 hours, both great lads very polite and attentive, everything was explained so well. First problem sorted within a couple of hours and the bathroom was left completely clean and tidy. I was so pleased I recommended them to another neighbour immediately.

Second house move and second boiler

We have just moved for the second time. This is our second move ew boiler, only this time it was a complete new system. The team were great, friendly, approachable and tidy! At the end of each day I came home to a clean and tidy working area. Rob was very fair explaining all the (small) risks that could happen when changing over from a conventional to combi boiler, fortunately everything went well. Rob is a perfectionist and sets high standards, the boys all know this and so it is reflected in their work. I will continue to recommend them.

We have used Rob and his team for over 6 years now for various plumbing works. The job last week was completed by Ashley and Sam. It was carried out by Ashley to the highest standard, with respect, courtesy and consideration throughout the whole day. Rob is an excellent leader and his high standard of training of the apprentices who complete the road with him is evident in his latest, Ashley. Rob has been the making of Ashley who we first met in his early years and who has proved himself to be confident, competent and very courteous in his service delivery. Rob has always explained what will be done and why and takes time to listen and answer questions and has always given us the best advice presenting us with all the possible options with prices and long-term value of each one. There are no “hidden” price extras. Not only is he very skilled at his trade, he is a very pleasant, honest and courteous person. Further, their arrival is prompt and Rob keeps us informed of any delays if so, the ETA. On the one rare occasion we had to call Rob about something minor after completion of the work, he sent someone quickly and without question, to remedy. In short, after our long varied experience with many tradesmen during a complete house refurbishment some years back, we would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Platinum Plumbers to anyone as they are really the best we have encountered. Installation of incoming main supply

A major leak in the incoming water main was eventually found by a specialist firm. Rob and his team then came in to run the new main from the meter in the street to the stopcock which is at the back of the house. A complicated job requiring moling of the pipe under the pathway and then a difficult route through the house to the site of the original stopcock. A great job by the lads, done on time and to budget, and nicely cleaned up afterwards. Very professional.

Platinum Plumbers undertook a very careful review of the work we needed doing including advice about the sort of replacements that would be best for us. After accepting the estimate the two plumbers did the work to a very high standard and were very quick and tidy. I will certainly use this firm again for any future plumbing work.

I had a problem with my kitchen gully/drain. When Rob rang me I explained the problem and I was able to message a short video to him. He saw the solution and arranged for Carl to visit as soon as possible which was less than two hours. He fixed the problem in under 2 hours which involved a rerouted pipe and cementing the wall. The quote given was kept. Carl was very helpful and explained everything.

Following a phone call which detailed the scale of charges and the likely process of identifying and remedying the water leak, a member of the team arrived at the allotted time. I, however, had my phone switched off and missed the doorbell and the messages. Once I realised what had happened, I phoned Rob back and he had already arranged for someone else to come out. He duly arrived, identified the problem and contacted the office to see if he could go and get the required parts to finish the job there and then. This was granted. On his return, he completed the job, despite having cut his hand open when going to Wickes for the parts. No amount of persuasion that he deal with his hand rather than the stopcock had any effect. This was way above and beyond what anyone might reasonably expect.
