Great service from JB Plumbing and Heating. They done many things in my bathroom. They installed a new toilet, a new vanity wash hand basin, they changed hot water thermostat and repiped the top of the cylinder. I am very satisfied about the job what they done. Highly recommend.

We have used JB Plumbing before Called them because we had leak kitchen ceiling Had a new Boiler fitted solved the leak and re sealed around the bath The men arrived ontime were very polite and worked very hard Really happy with this job and jobs done in the past Would recommend them to friends and family

We needed a boiler service as well as a leaking washing machine fixed. JB Plumbing came out quickly (liaising via WhatsApp was particularly effective) and realised our boiler wasn't up to it, and booked in remedial work very quickly. The comms with Sam in the office are great, which makes a real difference for me too. There was also a small thing that needed following up afterwards, and they came out and sorted it within just a few days. Finally, they booked in a check to do the relevant paperwork. Very pleased with how can-do they are and the aftercare is excellent.

John recommended my new boiler, fitted it and has now been servicing it annually for several years. I've never had a problem and if I did I would call him out - no doubt. He is skilled, honest and hardworking, tidies up after himself and is very polite and helpful.

Danny came to assess the problem with my boiler and was really kind in explaining what was wrong and giving me options to choose from. I had time to think overnight about what I wanted to do without any pressure. The work was completed in a day and I'm really happy with the results. I'll definitely be using JB Plumbing again in the future.

My pensioner Mum required a new boiler and radiator at her house. Mr Burns kept both my mother in person and me by telephone informed throughout as to the progress of the work and the costs. I had not asked that he first double-check with me but he did so as a matter of good customer relations and to protect my mother. This was first class service. He and his staff were efficient and tidy, and extremely courteous I have no hesitation in fully recommending him.

Contacting, communicating, and booking with JB Plumbing and Heating was simple, quick, and painless. Special shout out to Sam for prompt responses to queries and clear help in providing pricing and other information. The boiler service was completed quickly and professionally, and the engineer was helpful, friendly, and professional both in manner and presentation. My only very slight gripe was that he was a little late on the morning, but even with that was well within the time set aside for the job, and everything was completed in time so there was no disruption to plans for the day. After having had some frustrations with other suppliers' communications or timekeeping, working with JB was a refreshing change. I would definitely recommend to anyone needing work done.

A company that fails to comply with the law

This trader, if things go wrong will play the blame game and ignore their responsibilities within the law. Engineer attended at the property to inspect combi boiler, engineer called the boiler manufacturer for advice and decided that boiler was repairable. The following day I agreed a price of £857 to fix. Engineer attended to fit new parts but the repair failed. The boiler acted in exactly the same way as it did prior to attempt repair For the following 3 days argued with this company but they refused to re attend (breach of Consumer Rights Act 2015 Sec 55) and firmly blamed the boiler manufactures advice. They left me with no hot water or heating in sub zero temperatures !!!!. It took me to threaten them with court action in order to get my £450 deposit back, bad diagnosis by their engineer and fitting of parts not needed. During email exchanges the parts were quoted as £267 which means that this company actually charges £200 + per hour for labour which is 2 x national average.

Hi, Thank you for your feedback, we always take any feedback on board but we do find there are some inaccuracies within your review. The boiler was repairable, we were told by the boiler manufacturer Ideal that it was and we quoted for what we were advised by Ideal. We were transparent and honest and advised it would be an expensive repair and advised you would be best to put the money towards a new boiler given its age. We understand why you went with the repair choice. The parts fitted were advised to be fitted by the manufacturer of the boiler from the technical helpline, they were on speaker when the engineer was going through the checks on the boiler and you were stood beside him. The repairs were carried out and did not work, we apologised, technical advice said they could be of no more assistance and to change the boiler as this was a rare case and was out of warranty so they couldn't assist. You requested we fit you a new boiler for the same cost as the repairs, so we refunded you. We provided you with a new quote for a boiler but you went elsewhere. We didn't leave you in sub zero temperatures, all of the issues were resolved within a day or so and you were refunded the amount you had paid. We are sorry you feel this way but we have resolved this in a professional manner.
