We hate traffic noise so why did we move into a grade 2 barn conversion with hardwood windows right on the roadside of a country lane? Why indeed, because we loved the property. After 2 years of putting up with noisy tractors and boy racers at certain times of the day and night we decided to invest in secondary glazing. We like to deal with companies from our area of Lancashire if we can and googled ‘secondary double glazing’ near me. Up popped JC Windows. We contacted them and told them what we wanted. John gave us a quote and we arranged for him to measure up. The windows were ordered and ready for fitting sooner than advised. The fitter arrived, explained what he was going to do and got on with it. No fuss and no mess for us to clear up as he did it all. We are so pleased with the result. It has made a huge difference and you do not even notice that they are there. We would definitely recommend J C Windows for secondary glazing. So pleased we found them.

Really think the title tells it all. Had a patio door and new window in lounge installed, which involved the removal of brickwork with both windows. The guys were friendly and competent and I would thoroughly recommend this company.

We have just had secondary sliding glazing installed today by 2 lovely polite gentlemen who completed the work to a very high standard, taking much pride in there work and we couldn’t be any more happier with the glazing . Ordered the door in January I needed a wider door so it needed a little more work on the frame. The job was surveyed and quoted and six weeks later given a time for the job on the 25 Feb at 8 am, the two fitters came came on time and were finished by 11 am. Top quality work frendliy team and we are delighted with the new front door and frame cannot fault the quality.

JC Windows replaced all of the first floor windows on my dormer bungalow. The job was simple and straightforward from start to finish. They quoted for the work very quickly, arrived when they said and had completed the work without any issues within 3 days. I wish I'd used this company for my ground floor windows and would certainly use them again (if I ever move house!)

We are very pleased with our new kitchen window. We knew we needed one but can't believe what a difference it has made. Mark the fitter was brilliant. He did a very efficient clean and tidy job. We used JC Windows for the first time, after using another local company for previous other work. Work consisted of replacing an existing double door to the garden, which had become draughty. We were pleased with every aspect: from the initial visit and quotation, to the survey (done by the owner himself), and the installation completed today. It was a bitterly cold day to open up the house, but we’ve been delighted with how quickly the room has warmed up since the installation. No more draughts! The installation team of Martin and Mark worked hard, and were a pleasure to have around. We would have no hesitation in recommending JC Windows as a supplier.
