This is the second time we have used JC windows . They offer a professional,friendly service from start to finish . Mark and John were great in the quote & measuring side & our fitters Martin & Mark were hardworking and just got on with the installation in a totally professional manner . I always recommend JC windows to family & friends with no hesitation. Five star service. Totally satisfied.

JC Windows fitted 4 doors, 1 bi-fold door and 25 windows. I could not fault them from start to finish, they were informative, polite, friendly. The fitters were exceptional, keeping me informed of progress, forecast completion date, tidying up after themselves, and identifying and rectifying problems as they arose, replacing two window panes that had minor blemishes, without any hesitation.

Quote received and installation date of 7th Dec agreed. The last week in Nov, John rang wanting to install my door the following day (a Thurs). I was busy then, so we agreed on the Friday instead. Thurs lunch, JC Windows cancelled. I was very disappointed. We agreed 18th Dec (a Mon) instead. By lunchtime, the Sat before, I'd had no confirmation, so rang John who said the men would be there at 8am. No sign of them at 08:45, so I rang John. At 9:05, workers Gary and Gareth turned up and apologised for being late. They worked non stop and did an excellent job. Thanks to them and their skills, I would consider using JC Windows again, but I really feel there should be better communication with the customers, who pay the bills, on the installation date.

Work completed in a timely manner to a good standard. Team friendly and approachable. Work completed as agreed in timescale. Happy to recommend.

I approached this firm as I was looking to replace 3 front doors to an apartment block. From the very first call to the installation over the last couple of days, the service and professionalism of this firm has been outstanding. Every email was responded to quickly, appointments were attended on time, recommendations were made to better suit our needs given the heavy footfall through the doors, and the fitters themselves worked solidly for a day and a half without a break. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this firm and would of course use them again should the need arise.

I've just had 6 replacement double glazed windows fitted in a top floor flat by JC windows. Excellent job from start to finish, Mark the salesman arrived on time and was very friendly and informative. John did the survey and Gareth and Gary did the job. They were efficient, hardworking, experienced clean and tidy. They even fitted a new sill as the tiles were damaged, and even my neighbour commented on how quiet they were. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and will be using them in the future for a new door replacement. Thanks again for a great job.

I chose JC windows initially because they were a family firm, I found the salesman Mark very helpful and very patient. Once I had made the decision for them to build my new Orangery I found that the communication between the builders T Build Ltd and other workmen were excellent and they kept me informed every step of the way. Just had a new pane of glass fitted and previously had new window frames and a new front door everything was really great and everything was done on time workmen were very polite clean and tidy.

Our replacement front door and framing was fitted very professionally by extremely pleasant skilled workers. They left the property clean and tidy. The work was completed to our agreed schedule and budget. I would recommend this trader for their helpfulness, communication and service.

From the initial quote to the work completed this company was perfect. The first visit Mark was an amenable and friendly no pressure salesman, I noticed how different they were from the well known companies that had visited and left us quotes. I was made aware that I was under no obligation at all and I was pleasantly surprised at the pricing of 4 front windows along with a composite front door and a composite stable back door. I decided to go ahead and was also told that there was no money necessary upfront and to pay upon completion. This in itself was a relief as the previous quotations all wanted payment upfront and insisted on continuously phoning me up to see if I would go ahead. There was some extra work needed as my back door was small and would need opening up further so they priced this accordingly, only charging me £100 for the work needed and I have to say that I thought I would be having to finish the work but again they surprised me by not only completing the finishing's but by doing so to an extremely high quality, you would never have thought any work had been done. Martin the fitter and his teammate were pleasant and professional throughout and had minimal impact on our daily lives. The windows and doors themselves are of high quality and I am extremely happy with their service, in fact so much so that they will be my first thought when we have our extension built. I was kept updated throughout the whole process and am a completely happy customer

I’ve used JC windows a number of times over the years! The last time was today having new front windows fitted! I have always found them to be excellent from start to finish. Nothing is too much trouble! Fully recommend!

First impressions were very favourable when we approached this company to build a Conservatory extension. The survey was carried out by Mark in a very friendly and professional manner. He freely gave useful advice and inspired confidence by explaining the steps, creating a graphic design and offering a history of the company and long-term staff. The company have a great relationship with the builders from T-Build. There was good communication and they were always concerned that we were happy with the progression of the build. All in all we were provided with a bespoke service by a professional, polite and courteous team. They excel themselves with their competence, attention to detail, helpfulness and a sense of care. The site was left clean and tidy with all rubbish removed. All work was carried out to the agreed schedule and budget and we have to thank John, the owner, for his great organisational skills in getting the project completed. Excellent work by a great team. From the first meeting with Mark (sales) to John (boss) to the work team everything went smoothly. The guys who worked on changing our conservatory roof to a solid/lantern roof did a great job, were very polite and cleaned up behind themselves regularly- never leaving any mess. Two guys came to finish the inside by plastering. They worked hard for a full day, were polite and cleaned up at the end, leaving no mess whatsoever. We also had two new bedroom windows and a front door. Can we recommend JC? Yes. Yes. Yes.

From getting our first quote to the installment of our door and windows we received courteous and helpful service. We were very pleased with the final look and quality of the product. The fitters were very good at their work and they have been with the company a long time always a good sign. They always tidied up as they went along and we are very happy with the results

Contacted John at JC Windows to provide a quote for secondary glazing in our front room and upstairs bedroom. Happy with the quote and arranged an installation date. Martin arrived on time to install the secondary glazing and what an amazing difference it has made. We live on a busy main road and for the first time in 20 years of living here the noise from traffic has been greatly reduced. Martin was friendly, professional and left the house clean and tidy and I thoroughly recommend this Company.

I was very pleased with the work by Spencer and Anthony carried out replacing my old Windows for new on behalf of their company JC Windows. The survey was carried out at the agreed time and in a professional, friendly manner. Useful advice regarding the type of glass was also given freely. The two fitters who installed the roof were obviously competent and completed the job with no problems. They were also very helpful and wanted to be sure that we were happy with the finished article. The site was left tidy, with all rubbish removed. I would certainly recommend this company and will use them again for any future work.

Overall I was very pleased with this company. They came to survey the job at the time they arranged. The estimated time for the work to commence and be completed was accurate. The estimated cost was entirely correct. The men who did the job were very hard working and they did an excellent job. I am happy to recommend this company.

John visited me on request as I needed a new roof on an existing conservatory. John advised me when needed and arranged to have a new roof a new patio door and two badly needed windows. The guys that carried out the work, were great guys, very hardworking (not even had a lunch break) very polite and clean workers, I am more than pleased with the result and would recommend this company, The guys cleaned up after themselves leaving no mess. The work was carried out and completed on the time given.

JC Windows built a small orangery for us. John who is the owner kept an eye on the work every step of the way. He is always on the end of a phone if you need him. He helped advise us on what would look good based on his expertise. He uses quality tradesmen who are polite and get on with the work. We have had all the windows in our house replaced by JC Windows - eleven in total. The work was done with a high degree of professionalism and skill by the “A Team”, aka Martin and Mark. They arrived promptly each morning and worked hard the whole of every working day, not even pausing for their coffee breaks, nor did they stop for lunches. At the end of each working day, the site was left immaculately tidy and in addition, each room they worked in was scrupulously cleaned. Pleasant and cheerful, they kept us apprised of their progress throughout. It was a privilege to have such excellent workers doing our job. The two tradesmen who installed our new triple glazed windows were friendly, courteous and very obliging. On arrival they protected our carpets and got straight on with the work. When each room was complete they left it clean and tidy behind them. The job was completed within the planned time schedule and given the way everyone at JC Windows conducted themselves from start to finish, we have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this company.

This is the fourth time we have used JC Windows and, as usual, we are extremely happy with the work. We had new patio doors and windows, a new window in the utility room and a new back door fitted. We also asked for the doorway to be widened, which the installers did to our requirements. The installers were professional, knowledgable and skillful. They completed the work on time despite terrible weather and conditions. I highly recommend this company.

I contacted JC windows in order to get a conservatory built onto the rear of my property. I asked for slanted disabled doors as I have a son who is wheelchair bound and a disabled daughter this was agreed upon consultation and paid for in full!!! however this was not completed and after contacting JC windows they informed me that they were not able to do so as the garden slabs were too high and if I wanted this to be done I would have to order and pay for another door, even though my requirements were discussed during the consultation. The floor base was not made level and upon contacting JC windows AGAIN this still hasn’t been rectified and there is a gap between the floor and the base of the wall, the staff that completed the base of the conservatory would come for 2 hours (if that) and then disappear without notifying us! John was extremely rude in his mannerisms and the way in which he spoke to us! We have since contacted JC windows yet again as a crack has appeared on the ceiling and we were asked to send photos over, to which we did however as usual there has been no contact from the company regarding this! Extremely poor customer service and even worse workmen-ship. I paid £26,000 for this conservatory for my wishes not to be followed and for bad work with extremely rude and unhelpful service! I do not recommend this company to anyone

Despite the supply chain difficulties that everyone is experiencing at the moment, JC Windows completed the job within 2 weeks. The workers were professional and friendly and cleaned up every evening. We are very pleased with our new conservatory roof and would definitely recommend them.

We invited JC Windows to advise us on the construction of a conservatory/orangery on the rear of a house we had recently moved into and Mark came on 8 April 2021 to carry out a survey and discuss the construction with us. We were assured that they had employees who formed 2 teams so there would be no problem with the supply chain. What we got was something totally different. The tradesmen carrying out work were in fact sub-contractors, not employees and we finished up having to deal with and contact these direct in order to have continuity of the job. As part of the agreement we requested that the level of the floor in the conservatory be made the same as the kitchen as we intended to remove the doors and have the kitchen flow into the conservatory and to have a continuous floor and were assured this would be done. We agreed a price of over £23,000. The ground was cleared and made ready to build but a number of delays arose due to supply problems with concrete for the base. When the bricklayers arrived to commence, they were abusive, rude and kept disappearing from the site. On completion of the work we requested a visit from JC Windows and they agreed to knock down the walls and pillars as the workmanship was of poor quality. We have now found that the original base was not level or the same height as our kitchen. as a result the skirting boards left gaps and we have a slope between the two rooms. We have had this put right ourselves. JC Windows gave little support.

We had a patio door, front door and some cladding fitted. Both fitters were exceptional, very polite, did an excellent job of fitting and lots of attention to detail in finishing off an all-round brilliant fit. Arrived on date given. Price paid was as quoted. Cleared up all the mess, nothing too much trouble. Looks fantastic would highly recommend JC WINDOWS.

JC Windows have just fit a new door for me the work men were good and quick and they didn't leave a mess. The door fits really well I am very pleased with it. I would recommend them.

J C windows have done an excellent job in raising our pitched glass roof to a flat roof and installing a lantern. The original roof, windows and patio doors needed to be removed in order to build higher brick columns to support the new roof as well as change the original window sizes. The job was complex as we needed to retain the original kitchen units and were very concerned about water ingress. Rather than removing the roof John insisted it was put on acro props with visqueen nailed to it to protect the kitchen from rain damage and thank goodness for that decision because we had terrible weather and lots of rain but thankfully our kitchen units were fine. John’s fitters Gaz and Byron have been excellent, nothing has been too much trouble and they even cleaned the windows and plastic as part of the service. Thank you JC windows for an excellent job well done 👏👏👏

We had all of the front Windows replaced the guys were punctual professional and very knowledgeable we felt easy as soon as they started. When we go on to have the back of our house windows replaced we won't hesitate to go with. JC Windows again and will be recommending them to friends and family.

I found JC Windows in a local advertising booklet dropped through the letterbox. I contacted JC Windows via their website and received an acceptable quote within an hour or so. I agreed on the price and within a week or so John arrived for an on-site meet, talked through the job and agreed on the final project. As agreed, within 6 weeks the door and additional work were completed. The quality of work, door and additional work was first class. The two fitters were very polite, talked through the job with me and were extremely tidy both during and at the conclusion of the job.

I would highly recommend JC Windows for all your door and/or window needs. From start to finish they provided a competent and professional service. During the initial meeting with Mark he gave us several ideas for both our new front door and a internal one. On the day of the fitting of both products the fitters arrived on time and throughout the day updated me as to where they were up to. We wanted to replace a single glazed 'arched' window on the landing with a double glazed unit and asked JC Windows to provide a quote after seeing other reviews on this website. The initial visit was on time and we were really pleased with the information provided, so accepted the quote. The Covid pandemic caused a delay with the manufacture of the window but were kept fully informed. Martin and Mark came to fit the window and were excellent. The work was completed in less than two hours to the very highest standard. Everything was cleared and removed to the point where you wouldn't have known that any work had been done! Happy to recommend and we will certainly use this company again without hesitation.

From initial contact through to installation of replacement French windows all persons we met were very thorough and professional. The initial person who came round to scope the work immediately identified the source of our problem , something that another company who specialised in sourcing leaks didn't. We were very impressed with the standard of workmanship in the removal and replacement of our balcony windows and door. The two workmen arrived on time and were very efficient. We have no hesitation in recommending this firm and would use them again if the need should arise.

JC windows completed replacing our windows and front and back door. They were extremely helpful and efficient throughout from the first visit onwards. Although there were a few delays these were unavoidable. The 2 men who visited twice to complete the installation, were courteous, highly skilled and very tidy. Just want to thank John and his team at JC Windows for the lovely job they did at our block of flats, we had two front doors with frames and two back doors fitted and they did an excellent job I would highly recommend them, I also had my own flat door and two windows as well, they did a great job and left everything clean.

Recently had a composite door fitted by JC windows and they were amazing from start to finish. They offered very reasonable and competitive rates and we chose them simply because of the great reviews we saw and they did not disappoint. Mike was amazing whilst providing the quote and dealing with my barrage of email questions and the fitters did an amazing job. From Mark attending to arrange to provide a quotation for our requirements, through contact with John the owner, and the guys attending to fit our windows, we received a superb, professional and friendly service. The quality of the windows is great, we required some extra upvc panelling to cover a crumbling lintel, this was no problem and the finish is a delight. The work was done on the day specified, we were kept informed at every stage. The fitters were really friendly guys, at what with covid is a difficult time for all. They made no mess as such, cleaned up any dust and dirt caused by the old windows being removed. I can recommend JC Windows, and will certainly use them again for all my door and window requirements. From first contact to completion the staff of JC Windows are first class friendly and helpful trades people. Although due to an unexpected event the start was delayed by a couple of days, we were kept informed and updated, brilliant service. Old UPVC porch removed and replaced with a slightly larger one to the specifications we discussed. The fitters were great, polite and just got on with the job, cleaning up as they went. A slight problem developed with one of doors after a week, but a call to John was all it took and he came the next day to adjust the door. This is the type of customer service that makes them stand out from the crowd. I would highly recommend this company to any prospective clients.

We have just had bi-fold doors fitted and are very happy with the results. The work carried out by the builders and fitters was clean and efficient. On moving to a property we discovered that the roof in the conservatory due to its age was leaking. I used JC Windows as recommended by Which Magazine. From the initial estimate to the completion of the job it was carried out by what I can only say was in a total professional manner. A replacement bay window to ground floor and two first floor bedroom windows to the front of the property were installed. The representative who arranged to call round to provide an estimate was helpful and polite and the surveyor who called to measure up was pleasant and efficient. Dates for appointments were pre arranged and on time. I was given two months notice of an installation date. The work was completed on time and the installers were respectful and kept any disruption to a minimum. Extremely happy with the standard of work.

JC Windows did an excellent job totally upgrading our 1990s conservatory - new frames, doors, windows and new roof. They were very polite & tidy and removed all the rubbish. I would recommend them on value for money, quality of work and excellent customer service.

We contacted JC Windows after our windows started leaking, John came out to have a look the next day and advised what he believed to be the problem. We had x2 large bay windows fitted, and for aesthetic purposes, we decided to get the medium-sized single-window changed on the front of the house also. It was all done very efficiently and tidily, I was most impressed by the lads fitting the windows as we have recently had the house re-rendered and they didn’t leave a mark; no mess on it, no damage to the rendering, it’s a smashing job. So far Johns advice was spot on and no leaking whilst the rain has been heavy and the windows look great. We recommend John and the lads, and not to mention great value for money with the work you receive.

The work was carried out during lockdown. Two fitters came and installed the window and left having completed the task also taking their debris with them

As a subscriber to which magazine when we required new bay windows upstairs and downstairs we looked on the which magazine Site And we chose JC Windows to do the work. The job did not go smoothly. Some of the windows were manufactured the wrong size and we spent two days with a boarded up the bedroom window. On completion we were not satisfied with the workmanship and complained to the owner of the firm who visited and agreed it was poor. Arrangements were made to come and put the work right but the fitters made excuses and it was never completed we decided not to have anything else to do with the firm.This morning I woke To find a 5 foot piece of my upstairs window lying on top of my car,the section appeared to be extremely warped. I have photographic proof of all details mentioned here. We have contacted the company to repair the window under the warranty and I will review these comments after they have come to the property and put the job right.However They were not the cheapest and I would certainly not recommend them to anyone.

We have just had 10 new windows and the roofline replaced. From the initial survey and quote until completion of the work the communication from John and Mike was excellent. The two fitters, Martin and Mark, were brilliant. No fuss, hard working, tidy, and friendly. The standard of work carried out exceeded our expectations, the finishing touches just enhanced everything. We had no decorating necessary at the end of the job, i don't think that's always the case with many companies. We get great pleasure in looking at our 'renewed' house, and have already had compliments from neighbours. I highly commend this company to anyone, and thank them for work.

We have had windows fitted in our previous houses but J C Windows are on another level. The fitters were superb, their workmanship was on a far higher grade than the previous firms. We now understand why JC Windows are recommended by Which.

John did such a good job on our four bay windows a decade ago that I had no hesitation in asking him to quote for four new windows and a back door this year. Two of our bay windows had been badly fitted by another company and caused some structural damage. John's extensive experience as a joiner and fitter meant that he was able to recognise the problem straightaway and get the job done properly. This time one of John's fitting teams did the work and I was equally happy with the high standard of workmanship. The men worked for two days without even a break for lunch and rose to every challenge which included fitting two windows on a second floor without scaffolding. A scaffolding tower was used for the window on the first floor. I can now enjoy a new back door with more light and no draughts and have already recommended JC to someone else looking for a company which offers quality and good value.

We are ‘over the moon’ that we found JC WINDOWS. Having dealt with some companies in the past who had turned out to be a huge disappointment I really didn’t know what to expect. I need not have worried. John and Mike who we dealt with were absolutely first class from start to finish. I rang for a quotation for 2 bay windows, plus three additional windows. I received a call back almost immediately. An appointment was made for measurements to be taken and they arrived exactly when they said they would. It’s such a refreshing change to have such a reliable company to deal with and such friendly and professional staff. The materials used for the windows is extremely high quality, and the workmanship is outstanding! Also, inside we expected to have to decorate were the old windows were removed, not at all, not one piece of wallpaper was destroyed they have left the inside in perfect condition and were so clean and tidy. I would not hesitate in recommending JC WINDOWS, they were a joy to deal with and their prices extremely reasonable. If I could give them a 10 star rating I would!!

I needed 4 Windows replacing and a new Back Door, so I first contacted a Company that sends a "Newspaper" through your Door and arranged a Visit. Sadly, it was a Salesman with all the baggage that comes with it... Overpriced and Pressure Sell and he kept coming down in Price to get the Deal... I wasn't having it. So after briefly looking online I found JC WIndows who promptly came out and gave me a quote and I decided to go with them. The 2 Installers came early and didn't stop throughout the whole time they were here. They offered advice and explained very clearly the options I had when the odd minor obstacle was needed to be overcome. Even with just the Windows, before the Back Door was fitted, I noticed the difference in Heat retention and the reduction in noise from outside and with the Back Door added, this was further improved. My only regret was not having them replace all my other Windows and Front Door, but when I do, I won't hesitate to get JC Windows back to do the work. In one word...Quality.

This is the second time that we have used J C Windows, the first time was to replace 2 bay windows and 5 other windows. John came to asses our requirements after explaining about how wanted the top half of the stable door to work ie open and tilt and to be fair this is a bit unusual as most only open at the top inwards and no tilt. The door has been fitted by Mark and his mate. Mark fitted our windows which was an excellent job, and again the door was a perfect job, many thanks to all.

Fitting our sash windows was carried out exceptionally by Martin & Mark. The whole process from ordering to finished job was so professional and most importantly for us completely stress free. Work done: replacement double glazed panes and complete windows. Technically good materials and workmanship, combined with better than excellent customer service during installation. The team are also good at maintaining communications during the lead time run-in.

We have just had two new doors of our preferred design fitted together with matching surrounding glass panels. The quality is excellent and the workmanship without fault - and all finished within the day as promised. The two fitters were diligent, hard working and extremely good company. No problems and everyone happy.

JC Windows replaced four windows in my flat with triple glazed argon gas filled panels which all look great. They were supplied and installed to a high standard at a very reasonable price with a ten year guarantee. There has been noticeable reduction in noise levels from a busy road in front of my property and I they should help to keep heating costs down in winter.

When getting quotes for my Conservatory about 9 years ago, my neighbour mentioned that he had a minor problem with his after 7 Years and JC fixed it, no quibble. In this world of "Fly by Nights" that impressed me so I gave them my order. I have just had a minor problem (after 8 Years) and John has just fixed it on 2 days notice. That's service.

Replaced old wooden doors at rear of garage with new UPVC doors. We are very please with the work and the finished product. All members of the JC team were very professional and friendly. Composite front door and kitchen window fitted. First-class work carried out at a competitive price, no damage at all to interior plaster or wallpaper which is pleasing. Quite surprised how less draughty the property is since the job was completed. Wouldn't hesitate to use, or recommend JC Windows for any future work.

We had 3 replacement windows. It was a competitive estimate and the whole operation was slick. John and his employees always arrived at the arranged times and the workers were a pleasure to have in our property. From Mike coming round to measure up, the whole process took approximately 5 weeks. Had a composite front door and fully opening bathroom window fitted. I am absolutely delighted with my purchase and the work that was carried out by J.C windows from the visit by Mike to John calling round to measure up the whole process was very quick from start to finish Martin and Mark who installed the french doors were very polite and curtious they cleaned up after they had finished and left everything clean and tidy I would highly recommend this company and i would have no hesitation in having them again for future work.

I wanted a cracked double glazed unit replaced before a decorator painted the house exterior. I thought five weeks notice was ample but even with a phone call to JC Windows after three weeks explaining when the decorator was starting made no difference. Annoyingly the pane was replaced the day after the decorator finished. Top marks to the decorator who came back to touch up the frame, but the impression I got from JC Windows is that they aren't that bothered about small jobs. Would I recommend? I'll say yes because the work was ok but it would be a qualified yes if someone was after a small job.

From the initial survey of the proposed new door to the actual installation of it, I was very impressed with all aspects of this company. John visited to measure up and then we soon received the quotation, which was competitive. The installation by Steve and Garry was very good and we now have a super looking back door. I was impressed by the work JC windows did when i had two of my windows replaced earlier this year. I was so impressed I've had them back to replace a further two windows. John was really helpful again and explained the work that would be carried out. The gentleman that turned up Garry? sorry if the name is incorrect to replace the windows he was really patient with my constant questions. Even put up with my constant covering up of my floors. He cleared up after himself not that the previous window fitters didn't. I was once again impressed at the standard and speed of the work carried out. We recently used JC windows to supply and fit our new Rockdoor. We needed double glazing for 4 large bay windows and as a result of the many excellent reviews on Which we decided to try J C Windows. From first contact we found them to be very professional and easy to speak to. John spent time discussing our needs and outlining different options with not the slightest hint of any high pressure selling (that is something this company is clearly not about). This was quickly followed up by what I would say was an 'extremely competitive' quote, an offer I really couldn't refuse! The two fitters started at 8.00.am sharp each morning and installed one bay per day, clearing up after themselves. They are J.C. Windows own fitters and clearly have the time, manpower and motivation to do a first class job, which they did. We also had 14 leaded top lights refurbished and encapsulated and they have now just been fitted by John. They look superb. Its been a pleasure to deal with J C Windows and we would highly recommend them.
