J F Locksmiths is a mobile service, offering a rapid response time and a 24 hour emergency service - Throughout the West Midlands.

Established since 1990, I ensure I provide excellent customer service and competitive prices for a professional service, using quality materials.

Certified as a YALE Doormaster Expert, I can offer excellent advice on supplying and fitting all types of door locks including UPVC. I am fully trained and work to high standards with good knowledge of the industry.

Yale Experts make the installation process effortless – from selecting the right lock, to fitting.

J F Locksmiths caters for both Domestic & Commercial Clients.

If I need a locksmith again this is the only one I will use .fantastic customer service and a job well done before he came I could not lock my door he gave me a price I was happy to pay and from phone call to repair 1 hour I could not have asked for more from a very polite man thank you very much

Jim was able to visit quickly to change two existing locks (nightlatch to front door and cylinder to the back upvc door) and install an additional mortice lock to the front door. We were given a good idea of price before he came out, depending on the grade of lock we would go for and number of keys cut, and this was stuck to. Jim was punctual, polite and knowledgeable, explaining things in layman's terms without being condescending.

Problem with UPVC door not locking easily. Jim came the same morning at agreed time and changed the mechanism. Price as agreed beforehand. Good service, pleasant and helpful.

After some friends in the local area had been burgled, we were keen to ensure our locks were of the highest quality and as snap-proof as possible. We contacted Jim of JF Locksmiths and he arrived the same day. Jim was brilliant - he was able to give us excellent advice and a list of different options that we could choose from to suit our budget. Jim is very warm and friendly, really approachable and happy to answer any questions - nothing is too much trouble and, on top of the work he had quoted for, he was more than happy to help us by installing some additional Patlock french door locks that we had purchased. Cannot speak highly enough of the excellent customer service and peace-of-mind we have had through using JF Locksmiths. Would highly recommend and will certainly use again. I don't normally leave reviews, but felt Jim did a really good job. He was very helpful and explained the various options I had in full. I asked him to do some additional work we hadn't agreed in advance, he had the parts in his van and did to a high standard. Also, I asked for some advice on a badly fitted uPVC door round the back. Jim re-adjusted the door on the spot and its now good as new Overall I found him to be very trustworthy and meticulous and would be more than happy to use him again.

Jim responded very promptly to my enquiry and turned up at the agreed time to change the lock on my uPVC door. He offered the option of mending the gears instead of replacing, which would have been a cheaper option, however I decided to go for a replacement as a longer term solution. I have no hesitation in recommending JF Locksmiths. The service was excellent as well as competitively priced.

Door lock replacement. I phoned with my request. He asked for an emailed photo, and he soon visited, arriving promptly at the agreed time. He was fully prepared. He was attentive, helpful, personable, efficient, quick, and tidy. He brought an easy contactless payment system. The whole experience was straightforward and pleasant.

I contacted J F Locksmith early one morning about adding a secure lock to a side passage door. I was asked to email photos of the door and had a quote within minutes. Work started the same morning but the old door proved to be problematic. After careful thought an alternative solution was devised which overcame the problems perfectly. By the end of the same morning the work was completed to a high standard and we had a much improved side door.
