My boiler was not firing up, I searched my local neighbourhood website "Nextdoor", looking for a trustworthy local gas/heating engineer. Luckily I found John Creasey who I contacted. John was fantastic. He responded very quickly, then visited me the next day. It took John 20 mins to fix my boiler. My boiler is approx 15 years old, so I was concerned I would end up having to face the huge cost of a replacing it. Before contacting John, I did call other engineers who, after asking how old the boiler was, began suggesting a new boiler. John, on the other hand, suspected what the fault was, based on his knowledge, and as I said, fixed it in 20 minutes. I'm very happy and would not hesitate to recommend John Creasey. Please note, John is a registered Gas Safe heating engineer, which is a legal requirement, and is something everyone should verify (via the Gas Safe website) for their own protection before calling someone to fix their boiler.

John replaced a 20 year old Potterton boiler with a new Vaillant Combi IQ boiler, moved the location from the kitchen cupboard to the utility room and replaced all the very old radiators with new more efficient ones. I can highly recommend John as he is trustworthy, reliable, hardworking and a likeable person to deal with. He sets himself very high standards as is evident from his work for us, and would never cut corners which gave us a high level of confidence in him as customers. From start to finish he was more than happy to answer any questions and explain in detail what he has or is going to do. All in all, a very happy customer. Thanks John.

From the outset, we had total confidence in John's advice on replacing an old leaking boiler. John spent time with us discussing and clearly explaining the best options and compatibility with the under floor heating system. John is an 'old school' professional tradesman, something that is often hard to find now-a-days. An excellent and tidy job completed. I discovered some old gas pipe while I was installing new kitchen cupboards. I was concerned about doing anything with it myself. John came out at 4:30pm on new years eve at short notice to check if the pipe was live, and then removed it to allow the kitchen fitting to continue. He gave really helpful, practical advice and was friendly and professional.

We discovered on the night before Christmas Eve that our oven would not stay alight. We asked on a local internet site for recommendations for a gas repair man. John Creasey was recommended. He took our call approx. 8.30 am on Christmas Eve morning, he asked questions about the cooker and promised to be with us before 10. He then proceeded to fix the oven. Replacing an element that was wearing out. His service, commitment and knowledge was extreme. I would wholehearted recommend him and we will use his services again in the future.
