Kestrel specialise in spray foam removal only.
Most lenders won’t offer mortgages, re-mortage or equity loans on a home that has spray foam installed in your loft for a variety of reasons including the possibility of damage to the timbers supporting the roof structure. Any potential damage is concealed from inspection by the Spray Foam’s coating.
Spray foam can also increase the development of deterioration in roofing timbers and make what is a solid roof last a lot less time than it should.
Inspectors need to be able to see the wood that supports the roof to ensure the affected roof is safe and secure before a sale. our work has always been approved by professional surveyors in advance of the home’s sale or re-mortgage for your peace of mind.

We used Kestrel to remove our spray foam in the 13 & 14th March. The 3 guys were great, they worked hard & cleaned up after themselves both days ( you wouldn't even known they had been ) the certificate was issued as soon as we paid the bill. 👍

3 quotes were provided by Open Cell Spray Foam Advice Centre. Kestrel Roof and Loft Protection Ltd quoted for the removal of the spray foam and re-installation of the insulation in roof space. The team arrived on time and carefully explained how they would be working. The Team of three, lead by James, started the work and cleared the roof of the spray foam without fuss. There was a great deal of rubbish to be cleared, and the team ensured the area was clean and safe each evening and when the project had been completed they ensured we were satisfied. They kept to the work schedule and the agreed budget.

The removal of the foam in my loft was finished today. I cannot fault Colin and Paul who completed the job, the worked hard, consistently cleaned up after themselves and were friendly and professional. I can now relax without worrying about damage to my roof, and in the unlikely event I decide to sell, the buyers won’t be refused a mortgage. I’m really happy with their work and can’t thank them enough.

I needed spray foam removal in preparation for a house sale. David was very responsive to drive to quote on a Saturday. His quotation was not the cheapest but I felt the work he had done to gain Which? Trusted Trader was worth the extra. (An alternative quote included a requirement for scaffolding to "access the eaves", which seemed quite strange.) The two Davids worked really hard in rather warm weather to carry out the removal, and came back a second day with Colin to complete the work. I'm afraid the loft was not very clear and they had to move quite a lot around and they also left that much tidier than before. David kept to his original quotation. I was very happy with the way they cleaned up and have provided a certificate of removal to include with the house documentation.

We urgently need spray foam removed from our loft to be able to proceed with our house sale. Dave and his team were incredibly helpful, supportive and their communication was great. They sent a quote to us the day we asked for one and did the work in one day. It was perfect and we had a surveyor come round to check which they said the work was done brilliantly. They tidied up everything and didn't leave a single bit of rubbish. I highly recommend them!
