We used Knightsbridge Roofing to repair our chimney which was in need of some urgent TLC - including lead flashing, render, and chimney pot repairs. We also needed an old timber frame skylight removing from the roof and replacing with tiles. While the works were completed we also asked Knightsbridge Roofing to supply and fit new coverboards and guttering, and also install some tile vents to the roof. From the initial visit to the property through to completion of the works, Keith and his team were incredibly professional, respectful, and diligent. All works were completed within the agreed schedule and quote. Keith was always available to discuss the job over the phone or via email, and we always felt as though we could ask questions. Highly recommend Keith and his fabulous team! Have had a lot of issues with my leaking flat roof and Keith was extremely thorough, honest, efficient and has done a wonderful job, where other roofers have been extremely unreliable and their workmanship poor. He clearly knows his stuff and explained the options in layman’s terms so I understood the work he recommended to resolve the issues, and sent photos of all the work carried out. The price was very reasonable too. As a single woman living on her own, it was a breath of fresh air to find someone who I felt I could trust (which is not always the case), a great communicator and very professional throughout the process. Keith and his team did a great job repairing defects and improving a couple of chimney stacks which were causing damp issues in our flat. The exact cause of the damp wasn't clear and difficult to determine, but Keith talked us through and worked through several possibilities and checked that we were happy before each new piece of work was done. He regularly updated us with photos of the work and phoned to explain what was going on, and was very patient in answering questions. Keith didn't ask for payment for the works done until we were happy that the problem had been solved, which we appreciated. Overall it was a great and very easy experience, with the issue now solved.

The type of guttering was unusual and difficult to source, but Keith and the team went beyond expectations to track it down. I have used Knightsbridge Roofing twice before, so contacted them when I noticed water damage in my bedroom. Despite being very busy Keith returned my call promptly and his team completed repairs to the roof a few weeks later, having assessed the issue in a previous visit. They also cleaned my gutters. Keith’s friendly team took photos/videos of the issues and the work completed. They also suggested I monitor the damp to see if it improves. I won’t know if the issue is resolved until it rains more heavily, but because they are so responsive and reliable I am sure they will be able to provide further help if I need it. They are my go-to roofing contractor and I would recommend them.

Having found mould on my chimney breast, I needed a reliable and trustworthy roofer to check out my chimney. Having checked Which Trusted Traders and the Roofers' Confederation, I discovered Knightsbridge roofers on both and requested a quote. Coincidentally, Knightsbridge Roofers were subsequently highly recommended by a friend, so I already had confidence in them before they even came to quote. The three quotes I received were broadly similar - Knightsbridge fractionally more expensive but offering a more comprehensive job - the quote was very detailed and thorough and included lead flashing on my two chimneys and party walls, rendering chimneys and party walls, capping the chimneys and repairing the flaunching. In addition, they also painted my chimneys. Keith always gave me advance warning of when the scaffolders and his team were coming, also if they weren't coming as we were a bit unlucky with the weather. The guys were great - punctual, pleasant and they cleaned up after they had been. What impressed me the most was that they spotted an extra problem or two and addressed it and also pointed a wall for me 'while they were there'. After every visit, Keith sent me photos of the work they had done. I am very happy with what they have done and have no hesitation in recommending them.

My parents roof was in really bad shape and needed the entire roof re doing as well as guttering and soffit boards, Knightsbridge were very friendly when coming to do the quote and they working around my availability. They were patient with all my questions and while I got quotes from other places. We had previous bad experiences with builders and so I was very wary of anyone but Keith really helped put me at ease and didn’t mind answering any questions I had. I got photos throughout all the work to show me progress, and even though we had trouble getting scaffolding to the back of the house they found a solution for us. It was a great experience and I will be going back whenever we need maintenance. Also at the end of works when it rained we noticed some leaking with the guttering, they came out the next day to take a look and it was sorted within the week. House had a broker gutter at roof level and a lower level flat roof needed replacing. The water ingress from the flat roof was causing a lot of damage to the bathroom ceiling below it. Keith provided the most detailed quote and when I called with questions he answered them thoroughly. He communicated what was happening regularly during the process. Scaffolding team came and efficiently set up scaffolding and removed it quickly also. The men who did the roof and gutter work were friendly and worked effectively to do the work in a timely manner. They took their shoes off when walking in the house without being asked to, which I liked. After the quote and agreement to do the work, we discovered that squirrels had gotten into the loft area through 3 separate holes and these were repaired without additional cost as well as some additional work replacing the hopper from the flat roof and making the hole to the hopper larger. Keith was very conscious of cost to the client also and this was greatly appreciated. The standard of work was excellent and Keith also ensured that the guarantee for the work was sent through. After several months of leaks getting worse, we found KRR and were happy with the quote. It wasn't cheap but it was clear that proper repairs were needed after no significant work having been done on the roof for 30 years.
