From my first contact with Keith Tanner at Knightsbridge Roofing, the whole process and relationship could not have been more professional handled by him. Always polite, always on time, always clear. Keith's team who carried out our roofing work (Chris and Ryan) were similarly impressive - I would not hesitate to use them again, in fact I would rather not use anyone else. The team also provided photo's and videos of the roofing work before and after and these provided great piece of mind.

I live in a 3-storey Victorian house, and contacted a number of professionally accredited roofing companies to assess and quote for repairs to a chimney & some guttering. Knightsbridge Roofing Ltd was one of those companies, who I found on the Which trusted trader site. Keith (Tanner) got in touch with me quickly, and followed up with a visit and quote the same week. He was professional, informative and very helpful. Having given Keith the work a few weeks later, we agreed a date, which he brought forward by 2 days having had a cancellation. His team arrived on time, explained what they would be doing & why .. and did it. More impressively, following some questions I had for Keith following the work, the guys returned the next day to do some 'cosmetic' tidying up, to make a neater looking finish. All dealings with Keith & Knightsbridge have been fast, professional and pleasant. What a rarity in the building profession!

We approached Knightsbridge roofers via Which? Trusted Trdaers after two previous roofers failed to plug the leak in our bedroom roof. He visited promptly, explained what would need to happen, gave a fair quote for the job and proceeded with the repair within the month. He did not ask for immediate payment, and left us to pay when we were happy with the repair, and also left the scaffolding up just in case! We would recommend them for their professionalism, giving a fair quote with a pleasant and friendly workforce.

We were suffering a roof leak that transpired was as a result of damaged lead flashing along a parapet wall. I requested a visit for a quotation online and received a reply that same (Sunday) afternoon and a visit was arranged for the following Thursday. An inspection visit was made, as arranged, and the problem was quickly identified with a detailed explanation given of the work required. I received detailed quotes for the work by email the following day. A date was agreed for the erection of the scaffolding and the work commenced on 20 July and was fully completed the same day. I was kept fully informed throughout the whole process, from start to finish, via emails from the director, Mr Tanner. I was greatly impressed with the professionalism and efficiency of everyone involved in the work and the friendly and considerate way in which it was carried out. On completion of the work, the gentleman who carried out the repair provided me with a full description, showing me photographs he had taken on his mobile phone during each stage of the process, and copies of those photos were emailed to me the following day by Mr Tanner, with descriptive captions clarifying the work done. I consider the work to have been carried out to a very high standard. I consider, the level of service I received throughout to be of the highest quality and have had no hesitation in recommending the company to family and friends, and anyone else who is looking for a reliable company.

The enquiry to fix a leaking flat roof was answered promptly with a comprehensive recommendation including two options, both priced with 20 year guarantee on the work. Flexibility and understanding allowed the work to be programmed with minimum disruption to the household. Once commenced the team were reliable and polite, efficiently carrying out the work and respecting the functioning of the household without causing a mess. The work has been successful to date. The 20 year guarantee is a comfort for now. I will have to report back in 2041 on its true efficacy.

After finding water ingress on the ceiling near a rear bay and water dripping from the gutter at the roof corner, I called in Knightsbridge to investigate and quote for the necessary repairs. From the outset, I was very impressed with the timely and professional service they provided. The required work (replacement of broken tile, clearing blocked gutters, and replacing the damaged corner union) was carried out soon after. We needed a repair to an asphalt roof which was leaking where it joined the tiles. More than one firm of roofers would not take on the job. Then along came Knightsbridge! As the landlord of a rental property it's important to get any maintenance issues looked at and dealt with quickly. I used Knightsbridge last year for a roof leak and when I needed a company again this year I called them and Keith was able to meet me at the property very quickly. He identified the issue immediately (a lack of flashings on an old roof) and his team was able to carry out the work within 10 days. While they were on site they also spotted issues with the pointing on a chimney and were able to deal with that. All work was carried out to a very high standard. It's so good to receive detailed photos of everything done - especially as I live some distance away and it's never easy checking what's been done on a roof after the scaffolding is down! A friend who had some work done to his roof recommended Keith. I had been contemplating replacing the 1950s roof for our detached house that required frequent repairs to the tiles and give our house a new look. I was highly concerned about having to find a roofer for my life expired 60's roof on a tenanted property in Penge. Patch up options were no longer financially viable and my previous experience of repairs, just a couple of years ago was less than good. Keith was excellent at communicating via phone and email, including sending lots of photos before and after the work, as the work was carried out far from my home town. Very high quality repair and replacement of a flat roof. Would highly recommend.

I used Knightsbridge Roofing for a repair to my roof. I had a small leak that was causing a stain on an upstairs ceiling. Keith was very helpful and communicated well throughout. I contacted Keith to carry out a roof assessment on a rental property that I own. What a pleasure to find a reliable and professional roofing contractor! Having used Knightsbridge Roofing on a prior occasion, I contacted them last week for a leaking roof problem. Keith responded immediately and had one of his team round to survey the problem the next day. A quote followed immediately, which was eventually accepted. A service call took place, and Chris discovered the source of the problem and attended to it. The work required exceeded what was anticipated in the quote, but Keith stuck to his original quote this notwithstanding. We needed a gutter repair that required scaffolding. We received a quotation which was then checked and clarified with the scaffolding company. The scaffolding was erected and the job completed within week to our satisfaction. The scaffolders were careful not to damage the front garden and, as the repair was simpler than predicted, a deduction was made to that portion of the bill.

We had Knightsbridge Roofing Limited come to our house to install some lead flashing around our chimney stack to fix a leak. They were professional and polite and I'm very pleased with the job they did. There was a error with the quote which meant that the price was 100 pounds cheaper than the work should have been, but the company honoured the lower, quoted value. The house is a Victorian terraced house, the back part of the house was tiled some decades ago and had started to leak water into a back bedroom. I called Keith who is the director, we arranged to meet at the house where he told me what needed fixing. I found that he spoke in an easily understandable way. Not the cheapest but a very thorough job. Identified the problem and gave some good advice on the general state of the roof as well as the particular issue he was called to address. I am confident they did a good job and that it will last. I am sure I will use this company again. It was great to find someone who came out quickly, and managed to get the job done promptly and was very responsive to calls and emails. No chasing up required!

We were kept informed as the work progressed. Additional work was undertaken at our request, but at no extra cost. Photos of the completed works were then supplied. Knightsbridge Roofing repaired missing and broken tiles, and replaced zinc and concrete flashing with lead flashing on my roof, which is over 100 years old. They also replaced old cast iron guttering and downpipes. Throughout, Keith was friendly and professional. He clearly takes pride in doing good quality work. We discovered big roof leak in our loft. It looked bad. It was due to an old box gutter which needed replacing. Keith came within a matter of days to discuss what needed doing. He is extremely knowledgeable about his trade and made sound recommendations about the repair. It was a fair price he quoted us for the gutter to be replaced so we went ahead with the work. There was no wait. Keith and his team came and replaced the roof box gutter very swiftly. They also treated the other box gutter to ensure it lasts longer. They did a great job and we are very happy with the service we received. You can see their attention to every detail in what they do, fixing extra little problems they see along the way.
