LH Building Services have just finished replacing our old conservatory and my wife and I could not be happier. The whole job was completed on time and to a very high standard indeed. Mark has an encyclopaedic knowledge of anything and everything to do with conservatory design and build. His vast experience, combined with Nick’s expert fitting skills, mean that no detail escapes their attention. Mark and Nick worked quickly and neatly and were happy to answer any questions we had as the project progressed. Highly recommended.

From quote stage through to completion of the work, we have found LH Building Services to be helpful, reliable and efficient. Mark came to view the work and give us a quote. He was extremely helpful and made a number of suggestions that we had not considered regarding the work required. The work was carried out exactly as anticipated and we are extremely pleased with our new front door, picture window, replacement glass and adjustments to existing doors that he and his team carried out. We have already received a number of compliments on the improved look of our house and quality of the workmanship. We are now finding that our heating is much more efficient and the improvements have also cut out the external noises and droughts we had been experiencing. Mark and Nick did a great job replacing all the 15 windows at our property. The bay sash windows in particular are absolutely stunning and have made a real impact on the look and feel of the house. They were always knowledgeable, on time, and friendly - I'd definitely recommend them!

We had 5 new windows installed in the back of the house and had an old conservatory replaced with a new one. Mark provided an efficient and friendly service throughout the whole process from quotation to completion. Efficient, friendly service, our new door was ordered and installed really quickly which was important to us as we were working to a deadline. We were a little nervous about which door to choose and who to get to fit it as we had previously had a bad experience with one of the largest home improvement companies. The new door has been fitted well and looks lovely - wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mark.

I called the company to get a quote for repairing my front door, or to fit a new one, and we arranged for Lee to visit. Lee visited the house , which is an old Victorian property with leaded lights around the front door and we discussed the job. Lee advised on the type of issues involved with the work and he recommended that I bring in a specialist joiner to build a new door from scratch. Not only was Lee a really knowledgeable man, but I really admired the fact that he said that he isn't a specialist in this field and that is what is required. Lee even suggested one or two people I could approach. I certainly will be happy to call the company again, should I require work that they do specialise in.

We had 8 windows fitted by Mark & his team. The advice, guidance, and communication we received beforehand was excellent, with Mark giving suggestions for things we'd not even considered (despite this being our 4th window quote!) The price was reasonable compared to some of the extortionate quotes we received and the windows seem to be good quality. Mark was trustworthy from the start and kept us in the loop. The lead time was around 4-6 weeks (again, really reasonable considering some companies said 12plus weeks!) Mark and his team arrived just before 10am and were finished by 3pm! Incredibly quick but an excellent standard of work too. We've had awful experiences with several different trades making a mess, damaging things, not respecting privacy, but these guys were all very professional, tidy & considerate. They worked around us, fitting the windows in the best order for us, and made sure we had rooms that were safe for our baby to play. My husband was also able to work from home and have several meetings with minimal disruption. They made sure to cover up all our stuff well to keep it clean, helped move furniture, and then did a thorough job of cleaning up after themselves too. They even worked cleanly around a blind we couldn't remove & fixed a broken blind for us too. It was an absolute pleasure. They made everything totally stress free. Can't recommend any more highly! Will definitely use them again for future work! Thank you!

Lee and his team have built a single storey extension, removed a fireplace, redecorated most of our ground floor. They have also done a significant amount of work in our garden, including a new patio. We have been very happy with the entire process, and the finished product looks great. Lee has project managed everything, making useful suggestions about how we could improve on our original plans and been adaptable to changes we wanted to make. The team has been friendly and professional, keeping us informed throughout and clearing up at the end of each stage. We have also been impressed by how considerate they have been towards our neighbours.

I have had three windows replaced in a first floor flat, and was very happy with the results. Everyone was very friendly and completed the work to the quoted price and timeframe. I would strongly recommend them.

Lee managed a complete kitchen refit for us. This involved significant plastering and moving an internal wall. Lee made sure we were kept completely up to date with all plans at all times. He made sure contractors were on site at the right time and came to meet with them to make sure everything was running smoothly. The best thing about working with Lee is he always communicates with you at all times. He rings you straight back and is very good at making sure you know what is happening. He is also great at sorting out any issue that arise during the project. I would thoroughly recommend Lee for any building project.

Mark and his team were very impressive from start to finish! Mark really knows his stuff and raises potential issues and things you hadn't even thought of when thinking about new windows. With Marks expert eye we now have the perfect windows and we couldn't be happier. Would highly recommend to anyone!

I found Mr Houghton and his window fitter, Nick, both friendly and very professional in their approach to the job. The quality of their work was excellent, completed in a clean, efficient way to an entirely satisfactory standard. I was kept well informed throughout the process, dealing with any problems arising with the minimum of fuss, and offering good advice as to the best way forward in relation to other works we are currently undertaking. I have no hesitation in endorsing the quality of their work.

Built an extension to the house. High standard of work by all staff including brick layers, plumber, electrician, and plasterer.

Lee and his team were brilliant from start to finish. I tried several builders beforehand, but many didn't turn up to quote or said the job was too small for them. When I first contacted Lee and explained what I wanted he said it wouldn't be a problem and he would come and have a look so he could provide an accurate quote. He turned up when he said he would, talked through the job and offered advice on how best to get the finish I wanted. When the work started he explained what would be happening and when. His team were all polite and did a great job. I am really happy with the result.

LH Building services blocked up our back door and created an opening for patio doors to be fitted. We are really pleased with the job they did. Good work carried out in a very professional way. Would definitely recommend.

Lee and his team took down a crumbling porch and overcame some issues caused by the shoddy work carried out when the house was built 20 years ago. Excellent communication throughout and tidied up every day. I am very pleased with the result and I thoroughly recommend Lee and his team.

We came across Lee and his team , via another contractor who did the joinery work on our project . We planned a 3 meter ground floor extension across the back of our house. This was a first for us and we were concerned to get a builder who was reliable and of good quality. Lee’s team certainly matched that criteria . Everyone we had on site was hard working courteous and tidy . The neighbours commented on how they cleared up every evening. However biggest plus from my perspective was communication . If we had an hiccups ( which you will always have ) Lee was always available . He would come up with a solution and deliver . This man follows up his words with actions No hesitation in recommending

I needed a structural wall removed & replaced, to make my garage larger.Lee was quick to call around & provide a good decent quote. Once accepted he fitted me in to do the work, which was then completed over 5 days. Every morning the builders advised me of their plans for the day, & at the end of the day advised if they achieved their plans (they did every day!) The workmanship was of a very high standard with great attention to even the smallest detail.Every night they swept up so it was a nice tidy space in case we needed to use it.All the builders were very polite & extremely courteous. I'm delighted with the finished job & would not hesitate to recommend

Lee and his team are welcome back for other jobs, after building new flats for us from the ground up we are very happy. The whole team is polite and proffesional, the project was completed on budget and in an agreed time frame. Our entire project was done to an extremely high standard.
