Laidlaw Electrical Ltd was established in May 2001 and is looking forward to being in business for many years to come. We specialise in domestic and LIGHT COMMERCIAL electrical work. Residential and Commercial Maintenance.’We are local, efficient and pride ourselves on getting the job done on time’.
We are an approved contractor of the National Inspection Council of Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC) which means we are part P compliant,We can also issue building control certificates where these are required by law. (this is law since January 2005).
All work conforms to the current edition of the IEE wiring regulations and codes of practice and all accessories will comply with the relevant British Standards. Quality workmanship and Customer Service go hand in hand.. We are proud of our record of delivering high quality customer service.

Grant did a fantastic job exchanging halogen spots to LED throughout the house. He also installed new bathroom fans and fire alarms. We were very happy with the service, cost and timing and will definitely recommend Laidlaw Electrical.

I have used Laidlaw Electrical as our nominated electrical contractor for the past fourteen years, and always found them reliable, knowledgeable and trustworthy, and they always provide quality work and finishes. Their most recent visit to us was to re wire and install new hand driers in our toilet blocks, but over the years they have carried out a variety of wiring, lighting and power works to a very high standard. If you are looking for a domestic or commercial electrical contractor i wouldn't hesitate to recommend them as they have always provided us with an impressive service and completed work to a high standard.
