I got in touch with Lauren Builders after gaining planning permission for a single storey kitchen extension and after a recommendation from a friend. We had an initial visit from Mick to talk through our plan/build, which involved knocking through an exterior wall around 5m in width . He was polite, courteous, very knowledgeable and after that visit we knew that we wanted Mick to build our extension. Fast forward a few weeks and his team were on site. They were punctual, hard working and their standard of work is probably the best I’ve seen. The age of our property caused a few hiccups but with their experience and contacts they were able to advise and find solutions. Will definitely be commissioning Lauren Builders to build our second storey side extension.

I had previously been ripped off and myself and my 3 children with Autism were left homeless for 2 years by a previous builder and Lauren builders have helped me so much get my house back on the right track to allow us to go home shortly. Mick is very conscientious and caring. I have had a whole new roof replaced and a driveway wall built so far and couldn’t be happier.

My garage was awaiting a new roof so made sense to do a suitable roof for a garage conversation I may require in future for a bedroom for carer. I met Mick by chance whilst I was for the day & I mentioned to him that I needed some brickwork doing for a new roof for a potential garage conversation & did he know any reliable builders, coincidentally he said he owned building company called Lauren builders & offered to do the work for me & arranged to come & have a look. Being disabled I feel very vulnerable I have had many tradesmen let me down or do a bad job that has to rectified so finding a genuine person means a lot to me I knew as soon as Mick spoke to me he was a genuine person. Mick kept to his word & came round as promised took measurements he required & arranged a date to do the work. The work was completed & Mick told me there would be no charge for the work or materials he even donated the materials for screeding the floor too,he explained he wanted to help me due to my circumstances I really took back what a wonderful thing to do & extremely kind of him. Mick is a honest kindhearted man who keeps to his word I can't thank him enough for all he has done for me out of the goodness of his heart. Lauren Builders are a friendly trustworthy reliable company which is hard to find these days & comes highly recommended the workmanship was brilliant & they tidied up after themselves.

I had a stud wall added ready to extend my bathroom. Lauren builders did an excellent job, they completed the work in a timely manner, made sure mess was minimal and everywhere covered in dust sheets. Would highly recommend them.

We were looking for a builder to complete a second floor extension above an existing garage and utility room. This would provide us with a 5th bedroom and second en-suite. The work carried out would also include extending the driveway to allow additional parking. The garage had previously been converted in to another room but this was to be upgraded with built in cupboards and replacement window. Not only did Lauren Builders complete the building work as requested they also assisted with the planning application due to changes having to be made and further architectural drawings. The work carried out was of a high standard and Mick always explained things thoroughly. The guys were great with the kids and family and made them feel involved at all times.
