Lek-Trix Limited was founded in Bristol in 2007 by Daniel Haynes. During this time Lek-Trix has earned a reputation as a reliable, honest and trustworthy electrical contractor.

Lek-Trix offers a professional, competitively priced and reliable service. The majority of work comes from repeat customers or as a result of word of mouth recommendations.

Dan expertly fitted a ceiling fan in our bedroom, explaining what he would be doing clearly to me beforehand. He took the time to explain the controls afterward and was friendly, professional and tidy- Definitely recommend!

Finally got an electrician to fix problems in the flat I moved into in April 2020. Dan repositioned thermostats, changed laundry light fitting and switch locations, replaced old receptacles by new ones with USB charging sockets, and installed two remote-controlled variable downlights in place of the originals. The materials provided by me were unsuitable in some cases and Dan was quick to propose, obtain and install improved alternatives. He consulted well on changes to planning, working long hours to complete the work within the day instead of the planned two days. The new installations were neatly done, exposed damage from the original installation was made good and the clean up was faultless. He will be the first electrician I call for any future work.

I contacted Dan to fit a timer on my elderly parents' immersion heater, fit a new electric radiator and sort out the main thermostat - which my parents didn't know how to use. Dan was able to do the work at short notice and did a very good job. He explained how the timer and thermostat worked and programmed in the times for my parents. I would certainly recommend him.

We decided to use Lex-Trix Limited after seeing advertising in a local magazine and checking Trusted Traders. Dan visited to discuss the work involved and provided a detailed written quotation and timescale. Once agreed, Dan completed the work in an efficient manner with minimum disruption to household. He tidied-up as he progressed the work. We were impressed that he wore wore a mask all the time he was with us (without any prompting from us). We would have no hesitation in using Dan’s expertise in the future or in recommending him to others

I have used Lek Trix previously and had no hesitation in contacting them again when as a consequence of fitting a new boiler I was advised that my fuse board needed upgrading. I confess this task was far more complex than I had imagined but Dan clearly explained what was needed. Indeed while he was here he patiently answered all my questions. His expertise is extensive and the care and consideration that goes into his work is, I believe, probably second to none. I have already been in contact to have further work done.

I found Electrician Dan Haynes of LEK-TRIX LTD (Bristol) through the government TrustMark.org website (a little known resource and not well publicised). The firm is in the category of 'small-is-beautiful offering the 1-2-1 customer service experience that is the polar opposite of a large organisation. Whilst without a switchboard messages are attended to efficiently and there is that personal touch evident; Dan is both reassuring and knowledgeable providing a range of solutions and at different price points that always takes into account safety as of paramount importance. The installations were conducted as agreed and with ongoing consultation rather, say, unlike some contractors; simply opting to complete the install in the shortest time frame possible. Prompt in his attendance and helpfully tidying the job as he goes along; all-important especially in a domestic setting. On the technical front, it's clear that Dan is mindful to explain to the customer what can and cannot be done; in addition to making useful suggestions about alternatives. Thoroughly recommended: Professional Electrician who is also amiable in his manner and very considerate. Following completion of works, my NICEIC Certificate arrived without me having to remember to chase it!
