I am Lloyd Hallowell, the head electrician of Lloyd Hallowell Electrics.
I have over 10 years of experience. I come from a family of electricians and used to be an employee at my brothers electrical company Hallowell Electrical Engineers Ltd whereby I carried out my apprenticeship studying 2 days a week at an electrical college and working 3 days a week.
In 2013, on completion of my apprenticeship, I decided to start my own electrical business. My company has now been flourishing for a number of years and has been gaining rave reviews from customers, which can be found by searching for my company on google.
I'm also a registered NICEIC and Trustmark Approved Contractor. Over the last 6 years I have built up a solid reputation as a friendly and trustworthy electrician. I provide an efficient and reliable service to customers in London and its surrounding areas. My work covers domestic, commercial and industrial electrical installation work.

I booked lloyd for some landlord checks through 'trust a tradar' as he was one of the top rated electricians. First impression was how easy it was to book the visit though his online booking system. When he came he was very professional, polite and friendly. While carrying out the tests he explained what he was looking for and the reason and recommendation behind things that needed improvement, like using different lighbulbs so they don't blow as much. After the job was completed payment was also really easy. We got an email with our invoice and a link to make payment via PayPal if we chose. When you're really busy it's small things like that, that make a big difference. I will definitely use lloyd again, and reccomend him to anyone in need of an electrician.

The finished work included new sockets and new LED under cupboard kitchen lights. The work had been quoted for and the appointment arranged, the work was slightly cheaper than the quote. Both home visits included a tracker to know the arrival time. The work is excellent and did not require any making good. Very helpful and explained all the work. I have booked Lloyd for further work and am happy to recommend his firm.

Very happy with Lloyd's work . It was a really straightforward process to book him to come and look at what needed to be done, receive a quote and then book the time for the work to carried out. I needed all of my kitchen down-lighters replacing with LED lights and a dimmer switch, 2 bedroom lights installing as well as a heat alarm and 2 smoke alarms. Lloyd supplied good quality fittings & fitted junction box covers when he discovered they were missing on existing wiring and everything was done to the agreed schedule and budget. I'd have no hesitation in recommending him to others for his professional and conscientious approach in doing the best job for his customer.

Lloyd repaired an earth fault in my kitchen that was leading to electric shocks from the oven. I was very impressed - he is very professional and a nice guy to work with. Lloyd is very friendly, helpful and straightforward - exactly the right character for a professional electrician. We needed the removal of a redundant light and switch; he knew how it was likely to have been installed in the 1980's and was able to remove it very quickly and efficiently, explaining as he went. Lloyd is fantastic. Please don't waste your time going anywhere else. I was blown away by his thorough yet inviting advert hence deciding to go with him. Obviously with anyone new you worry about mess, standard of work, snags and most importantly your house being left looking like a horror movie. All my concerns were alleviated and Lloyd left my place in stellar condition each time. His work is second to none and he has great banter. He knows what he's doing and doesn't rush.
