Phoned yesterday at 9 am with a lock jammed so I could not get out to my back garden. I spoke to chris who is the owner he said he was very busy but he wa going to do his best to fit me in and he phone me in the afternoon 30 min before to let me know he was coming the gear box had gone in the lock but he had a spare in the van which he changed straight away for me. Very skilled craftman, excellent service and a good price

Lock Around the Clock were contacted Thursday pm and arrived on time Friday am. Both locksmiths were neat, tidy and friendly. They identified a problem with a door lock gearbox, fitted another they had on their van, made a few adjustments to the door to improve its closing and had gone within the hour after cleaning everything they had touched. Their charge was reasonable. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Sunday 9:45am we’re stuck the front door would not unlock. We couldn’t leave and if we did would we get back in? Phoned Chris at ‘Lock around the clock’! Long story short, he gave us an estimated price, arrived within half an hour, job done! I Asked if he’d just look at the back door with a view to returning at a later date Chris took a look and resolved that issue too. Obviously a second visit would be another call out charge. He was efficient, polite and I’ve put him on my list of phone contacts, will definitely recommend him! Great guy!

My door had got out of alignment with the lock, so it was getting harder to secure. The guys turned up within the time window they gave me (and called to let me know when they were 30 minutes away). Friendly pair, who fixed the problem quickly, completely, and cleaned up before they left. Excellent service.

Call out on a Sunday evening. Quick response. Efficient locksmith who left everything neat and tidy. Checked and double-checked that lock was working properly and asked me to also check that I could lock and unlock the door. Very helpful and explained exactly what was being done. Looking for a reputable local company to use I called Lock around the Clock to get a faulty door lock replaced. A convenient time was booked for their visit and they phoned 30 minutes in advance of arrival. All very professional, with the basic labour rate quoted upfront. The problem with the door was quickly diagnosed and the lock mechanism replaced. Before leaving they cleaned the area where they had been working. Highly recommended.

I door knob had come apart and it was very important that it was mended as it matched other knobs in the room. I was not sure it could be mended but as I had used "Lock around the Clock" before I telephoned them yesterday. Very prompt service today having told me that they would call between 10am and 12 midday, they telephoned to say when they would be arriving. They immediately started the job and were able to mend the knob. They were very efficient and at a reasonable price. 10 out of 10.

When I called to discuss the problem, I was told what the likely repair would be and given estimates, depending on what needed to be done. I was told I would be given a call approximately thirty minutes before they were due which they did. The lock needed replacing and I was given different options which were explained clearly. The work was done quickly. They were very polite and friendly. The cost was very close to what had been quoted.

Chris arrived punctually at the agreed time on the day I contacted him. He quickly identified the problem and effected repairs and fitted new parts so that the door is working better than it has for years. It is a heavy UPVC double glazed door so would have been very expensive to replace. I was very happy with both the work and the cost.
