Lock Around The Clock

I arrived home about seven PM on the fifteenth of January. I opened and closed the front door but was unable to open it again. I phoned Lock Around The Clock, who advised he could come out to us to access the damage within half an hour, which we thought was superb given it was a Saturday evening. Chris quickly located the problem having opened the door and advised us of our options and cost. We decided to have new parts and Chris replaced the front door gearbox for what we believe was a fair and very reasonable price. The work was completed within forty five minutes with no mess or damage to the door(you wouldn't even know that he had been). Chris was a pleasure to do business with and we were very pleased with the work he carried out, which was all under guarantee. Thank you.

Made contact very quickly, kept me updated on their arrival. Explained exactly what they were doing, actually fixed the yale lock rather than just replacing it. Very clean tidy and friendly. Couldn't recommend them highly enough.

I had locked myself out and damaged my lock trying to get back in. Luckily I found Chris's business in our local news magazine, gave him a call and within an hour he was with me. Got me back into my house and fitted a new lock, with spare keys. He was very professional and completed the job quickly and efficiently. When he told me how much, I couldn't believe it - you expect to pay so much for these things but the cost was very reasonable. I would definitely use again if need to and recommend to anyone who needs a locksmith.

Lock around the Clock arrived swiftly, carried out the task in under five minutes and requested a very fair price for their effort.

An external door was stuck in the locked position, the key wouldn't turn and the handle did not work. I rang up at 2.30 pm on the 4th and he arrived at about 3.30 having rung 20 minutes before to say when he would arrive. He immediately got the door open and took out the mechanism and replaced the gearbox, reassembled and made some adjustment - job done! Very impressed with his skill and the speed that he did the job. He left everything clean and tidy. I would recommend him to anyone. First class.

Just had them round to repair and service a non-functioning lock. Great guy, job done in a few minutes, all working. Called him, said no rush, he came later that day. We will certainly recommend to all that ask.

I called Chris to ask him to fit a new front door lock which I have purchased myself on Friday to comply with my house insurance. I looked to fit it myself but found the lock was much too complicated for me to fit and decided to call Chris. Chris answered my call straight away and told me that he would try and fit me in later that day. He called me later on Friday afternoon to say he was on his way. Unfortunately, he was unable to fit the lock due to the sitting of the previous lock. Chris made a number of suggestions one of which was to fit a mortice lock which he came and fitted on Monday afternoon. Very happy with the outcome. Tom

He arrived in just over an hour from my call, and even phoned to say he was delayed by a few minutes. He explained everything well and was able to make additional keys from his van. Went over and above my expectations.

I phoned them early morning. He fitted three mortice bolts for security purposes arriving at 2pm. Work was most satisfactory. Clean and tidy job.

Amazing service! From the moment I first called Chris for the job to its completion, it took just under an hour! He came round to my house within 10-15 minutes. He was professional and friendly. He and his colleague sorted out the balcony door for me immediately. Above all else, he was honest and did not overcharge me, but charged me at the correct rate. Front door lock not working. Answered phone promptly in person and arrived earlier than originally estimated, but they kept me informed and I was pleased with completion of job sooner than expected. Great service from Chris. Had issues with patio doors not locking properly. He was quick in responding, arrived at the time agreed, completed the work and tidied up after. Charged a fair price for the work. All in all, very happy.

This was the second time I used Lock around the Clock. The door to our downstairs toilet was broken and it meant everyone using it had to advise they were in there or sing. I had tried replacing the lock myself. Big mistake. Chris and his colleague replaced the lock and fitted a new one which works very well. They arrived when they said they would. I was very pleased with the service provided by Lock around the clock. I rang them around midday on 1st November 2021 and they arrived at about 4pm. They quickly identified the reason for the french doors not opening. They fitted a new lock gearbox to the doors which they had brought with them. Both of them were polite and friendly and they left no mess.

The staff were very courteous, helpful and professional. They were able to come to us at short notice (late on a Friday afternoon), which was much needed as we were unable to get out of the back door and the dogs need to use the garden! They came at the agreed time. They identified what was needed to be done to fix the backdoor (change the gearbox) and explained it well to us. They were very happy to fix an additional problem despite us not mentioning on beforehand. They fixed an ongoing issue we had with our temperamental front door that they identified on coming/leaving the house. Very tidy. Happy people.
