Chris and his apprentice arrived at the agreed time to sort out a faulty front door handle which meant the door could not be opened from the outside. They quickly determined the fault and were able to replace the part at the same time. Both Chris and his son were courteous and friendly whilst still being very professional. I will definitely use them again should the need arise and would recommend them to others.

Mortice bolt was stuck fast in conservatory door and was broken. They came out same day, opened door, replaced bolt with a new one all within an hour. They were polite and professional, I was informed of costs before they came.

Key broke off in our door on a dark Monday night. Chris came out within 30 min of my call and was super responsive in the interim, letting me know when he was on his way. Lovely guy, fast and courteous service. Replaced the lock and did spare keys all out of his van. Definitely recommend if you get stuck in Berkhamsted / Hemel as he's also a local businessman (always good to support!).

Had a problem with latch for the door on our downstairs toilet. The door was jammed closed (fortunately no-one was inside at the time!) Found Chris's number in a local information magazine. He was there within 3 hours, having 'phoned when he was half an hour away. Got the door open and replaced the latch. A professional, tidy job and no call out charge - just labour and parts. Would definitely recommend and now have his mobile number in my contacts list - just in case.

Called first thing Sunday morning and Chris advised he was able to call in to take a look at the work. He arrived within the hour, quoted and confirmed that he was able to fix the problem. Chris was great he fixed my door there and then. He had all the tools and was able to start and finish the job quickly and professional. I would have no hesitating in recommending Chris!

Had to get a broken removed from my mother’s front door lock which she had sheared by turning it the wrong way, (she’s 87 riddled with arthritis and a little forgetful these days). Turned up promptly, was friendly and courteous. He was also able to supply a cover for the replacement key to make it easier to turn.

Door would not lock from inside or outside. We thought a new lock would be needed but were told immediately that this would not be necessary. The lock merely needed realignment and this was a far more economical solution. Work carried out quickly and efficiently.
