I made contact the Saturday before the locksmith visited to explain our issue with the front door and made arrangements for a visit on the Wednesday afternoon. They they telephoned on the day to say they would be here in about 25 mins and arrived as advised. It turned out to be a fairly simple issue to resolve. I was very happy with the job and with their prompt service and would definitely call them again should the need arise and recommend them to anyone else.

Being local, Chris was able to come at short notice - around half an hour. He was not only astoundingly quick on the job, he was also sensitively good-humoured about my unfortunate situation, in a way that put me at ease. His rates were also more reasonable than the larger company I'd found and called earlier on, who were not able to send anybody out, and would've taken up to 2 hours if they had. So, friendly, fast and didn't cost a fortune. All round appreciated. Thanks again Chris :)

I was locked out of my house. I contacted lock around the clock who gave me a time they would attend and call out charge. Kept me informed that they were on the way. Arrived at time promised. They sorted the problem and reduced call out fee by 10% as did not take long to fix (but they had know how and tools). Friendly service.

I managed to snap a key in the lock of one of my exterior doors this morning at around 11 am, realised it was beyond my capabilities to repair it, so I rang "Lock around the Clock". Very professional and polite on the phone, they arrived at exactly 12.30pm and sorted the problem out in about 20 minutes flat, retrieving the key and dismantling and realigning the door and lock, which now works perfectly. It was a very reasonable price and I couldn't be happier. I would highly recommend this company.

Chris & George came to replace my multi-lock door handle as it came off in my hand! I was obviously worried as I couldn’t secure the door properly. They arrived promptly after calling to tell me they were en route. I was also quoted their call-out fee so no surprises. The job was undertaken promptly and professionally and I am delighted with the end result. I would not hesitate to recommend them and will definitely use them again.

Lock around the clock. Absolutely amazing. My mother needed a new lock on her back door. I called a company in Tring first of all that said they would have to take the back door off and we wouldn’t get it back till the weekend, rubbish. They didn’t even arrive in a proper van. So I then called Lock around the clock and I spoke to a lovely man called Chris. We arranged a time for him to come up and he arrived on time calling to say he had arrived. He came with a guy called George they took one look at it and changed the lock straight away. My mum's door didn’t shut properly and they sorted that out as well. I thought their pricing was excellent. Both Chris and George were very polite and professional. I would certainly use this company again and tell all my friends about them. They get 10 stars from me.

Very pleased with the work carried, friendly and very efficient.repaired the lock on my back door and also my conservatory door.

I never review services but these guys were brilliant! Turned up exactly on time ( gave me a call beforehand) explained exactly what they were going to do and gave me choices. Price was exactly as quoted and no hidden charges. Extremely polite. Would definitely use this company again.

Chris was here within 90 minutes and had a replacement part with him so lock fixed within 2 hours of me contacting them. Reasonable price and friendly service. Would use again.

George of "Lock around the Clock" visited our house today to change the mortice lock on our front door and see what could be done about a problem we had with the lock on a double glazed window in our bedroom. He arrived at the agreed time and was very personable. He looked at the mortice lock and found that it was not the lock that was faulty but the key had been slightly damaged. As a result, he did not change the lock but I need to buy a new key! With regards to the bedroom window, he found that the handle was not working properly, so changed that. This came with a new lock, of course. George was very professional and extremely efficient.

Very impressed with service provided by George. I had a door which would not lock and he arranged a very quick appointment, for which he turned up promptly. He quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced the faulty part. He was very friendly, and the repair was carried out to a high standard, at a very reasonable price. Great company.

I was given a time slot in which they would arrive, I then received a phone call stating they would be with me in 25 minutes. They were to replace or add new locks in 3 places. Two were straight forward but one was posing a problem. After discussion and looking at other neighbours it was resolved. They were very pleasant and cleared up afterwards. I was given a quote beforehand which included one or two approximate prices and the final bill was less. I was happy with the work done.

Chris and George arrived within 15 mins after I’d locked myself out. Great quick service, also oiled the lock as it was a little stiff. Good value too

Called Chris on Saturday morning and explained the problem with front door lock which was sticking and unable to lock door previous night. He said he could come out and he rang about and hour later to say he was on his way and updated me. Got down to the task and luckily he was able to do adjustments to the locking system. He got me to make sure I was able to lock and unlock it okay. before he left. Would recommend to others that have lock problems. Very happy customer.

Chris came to fix a UPVC door that wouldn't open. I called in the morning, he came just after lunch, and the door was fixed and working perfectly in 30 mins. Chris diagnosed the problem exactly and replaced a broken gearbox. The costs were clear, and it was altogether excellent service.

Chris and his colleague came very quickly to sort out and replace a broken lock fitting. Polite and efficient and tidy and a pleasure to deal with.
