We needed multiple locks changing at short notice in an emergency, the locksmith worked after hours in a stressful environment. Thoroughly happy with the work and appreciative for the understanding and professionalism employed. Highly recommended.

I wanted to get my front door latch replaced and emailed Chris some photos. He gave me a verbal quote that was reasonable, and he came out the following morning to do the work (it wasn't urgent). The work was done quickly and professionally, and they cleaned up afterwards. Chris took the time to explain how to use the new lock, and to check that I was able to use it OK. This is the second time that I've used Lock Around The Clock, and I would be happy to do so again in the future.

Had problems with front door (composite) jamming on occasion. Tried silicone spray without success. Saw advert in local Living magazine for Lock Around the Clock based in Hemel so rang Chris who came shortly after. He refixed bottom hook to mechanism which had become detatched and tightened screws. Job completed quickly and efficiently, friendly guys who gave me 10% seniors discount thus only £75 without me asking. Would use again and happy to recommend.

I highly recommend Chris and his son, who replaced my street door lock. I called them around lunchtime when my old lock seized up, and they gave me an estimated ETA. Chris then called me when he was 5 minutes away, and when he arrived he quickly assessed the problem. The work was done professionally and with the minimum of fuss, and the cost was very reasonable. I used this trader to resolve a problem with a UPVC door which I was unable to lock. They answered my call promptly and gave a generous estimate of how long it would take them to respond promising to call me with reasonable notice when they were on their way, This happened. They also advised their hourly rate (which they adhered to) giving me opportunity to decline the work if I was unhappy with it On arrival they swiftly diagnosed the problem and clearly explained the fault giving me ample opportunity to ask questions, They also advised the cost of a required replacement part before proceeding with the work The work was undertaken swiftly and efficiently and I was able to test it to ensure that I was satisfied that it had cured the fault. I was also given useful advice on how to prevent the fault from recurring. Throughout the work I was treated respectfully and I was very pleased with the service received. I found Mr Cavanah to be helpful and efficient. He kept in touch when he was delayed and arrive to complete the work in super quick time. He was also very kind by adjusting the price of the repair to compensate me for the delay. Would definitely recommend his company and if necessary we would use them again.

The job was scheduled for the next day and as stated, I received a call letting me know when they will come. The type of work, costs and options were explained before the job was done. The blocked cylinder was removed and a new one fitted. It all took around 15 min. Highly recommended.

Chris came out on a cold Sunday morning. Called 30 mins ahead. Arrived when he said. Did a thorough job to fix the problem. Charged the reasonable price quoted on the phone and was kind and cheerful throughout.

Had two door lock cylinders replaced due to losing one set of keys. Have used Chris once before a couple of years ago and once again from contacting him and the locks being replaced was under 24 hours. We locked ourselves out on a particularly stressful morning. We rang Lock Around The Clock as they seemed a local firm. They answered promptly and got us to explain exactly what we had done. From that point they gave us the assurance we needed, namely: - they understood what we had done - they were very confident that they could get us back into our house quickly - they gave an estimated wait time [1 hour] - were clear about their call out charges - told us to relax, go to somewhere warm we could wait - told us they would call when 10 mins away They were good to their word and got to us within 40 minutes. Got access without any further drama and were polite and friendly throughout. Excellent local firm who we would happily use again.

The lock wouldn't turn for me but they serviced and adjusted it so now it is far easier and I can leave the property securely locked. both worked efficiently, quickly and carefully. They explained what would be needed and completed the work. They did not have to replace a part as first thought which saved me money. Arrived on time from a distance away in spite of returning to the same area in which they'd worked earlier in the day.

They were able to replace a broken front door lock with compromising the door and even tidied up after them.
