Chris kept me informed of the costs as he went along, even though these did change as he progressed but that was due to the specifics of the door and lock and the way it had broken. Chris arrived on time. Called first and explained the problem and solution with associated costs in advance. He replaced a gear box & refitted the mechanism. All done within 30 minutes but didn't mind paying the labour charge. Nice guy. Recommended.

Phoned up to discuss replacement front door lock & maintenance to back door lock. Advised it wasn't urgent but he was round in about half hour. He gave me options & costs, decision made, he did the work. No problems - no fuss - no mess. I am satisfied that my wife and I are with a better lock for the next 10 years at least (at 87 I don't think I'll be too worried!).
