About

Locksmith Services is a family business established in 2009, based in Harpenden and covering Hertfordshire & Bedfordshire. We're a father and son team, Larry started locksmithing in 2005 and Dean his son started in 2015 after becoming a qualified carpenter.

Locksmith Services are open 24/7 for emergencies and aim to get to you within 30 minutes of your call where possible. We can supply and fit door and window locks to British standard and insurance requirements.

If you need a locksmith in Hertfordshire & Bedfordshire because you want your locks upgraded for extra security, locks changed or repaired then at Locksmiths Services we have the experience, expertise and the equipment that the job requires.

We do not charge a call-out fee or charge hourly. We charge a set labour fee plus the cost of any parts that may be required.

We are Hertfordshire Trading Standards Approved & Which? Trusted Traders since 2014.

Used many times on our site and what can i say other than always fantastic service and work. I wouldn't call anyone else. Always brilliant from initial communication and call back very quickly if they can't answer. Always turn up on time. And above else really nice people which let's face it is unusual these days. In fact If your reading my review you shouldn't call anyone else either ;-)

We needed help with our back door that was stuck locked and would not open. Dean was here within 45 minutes of my call and had the issue resolved within 15 minutes of arriving. He was very polite and friendly and was happy to give us advice on future maintenance of the door and an honest assessment of when it would need replacing rather than spending further money maintaining it. 5 stars all round and would definitely use again/recommend to friends and family.

Needed someone to change the locks, emailed a few people, these guys responded to my email request promptly, we discussed my needs and booked an appointment for the next morning. Very informative and professional, answered my questions fully, turned up on time and did a good job, invoice received exactly as quoted, what more could you ask for 👍🏼

I had an internal lock put on a door in my house by Dean today Extremely pleasant and helpful young man On completion Dean wanted to check with me that it was working There was a slight problem with the lock but Dean didn’t stop until it was fully sorted and I was happy with the job It took longer than first thought but as I say I was really pleased with Dean’s attitude and professionalism A really nice guy Did think about phoning the manager up to say how pleased I was with Dean but this review came in first so I hope Dean’s manager see’s what an asset I think he is to the company!
