We decided to replace all the sash windows in our drafty Victorian house to improve insulation and thus reduce energy use. As it was a significant financial investment for us, we researched it thoroughly and London Box Sash came out as front runners. We are delighted we went with them. From start to finish, their service was highly professional and completely reliable. All of the staff from sales to installation were courteous and a pleasure to deal with. They explained the process fully and there were no nasty surprises. The installation team were amazing. They replaced 13 separate sashes in just four days. The windows look and feel very smart. Our house immediately feels warmer. We can now turn the heating off completely during the day. The degree of sound insulation is an unexpected pleasure too. I would definitely recommend this company.

We were recommended London Box Sash Window Company by our next-door neighbour and what a recommendation. The whole process from start to finish was excellent and the estimating installing and payment process was first class. The two large sash windows installed in our 1904 Edwardian house are very good indeed and the panes move up and down so smoothly and effortlessly. Already notice a huge difference in heat retention and noise attenuation. What more can I say except to mention our installer who single-handed put up and took down the huge dust curtains, set up a small workshop and in between installed the box sashes and touched up the paintwork. He worked a hugely long day but was always courteous - an amazingly skilful and conscientious technician. I highly recommend this company and their product. You will not be disappointed.

We are in the process of ‘future-proofing’ our home - let’s face it, with the rising cost of utilities, this is fast becoming a priority. We live in a flat in an old Victorian house with large, single-glazed, sash windows, several of which needed replacing, but deciding what with, was always going to be tricky; plastic windows would obviously be cheaper, but wouldn’t be in keeping with the house and so we looked around at who was making wood sash windows. There is no doubt that this is an expensive route to take, but given how long they last once they’re in, to not do it right first time seemed a false economy. We have so far replaced two windows with TBSW company and you really do get what you pay for; from the start and our first contact with them, we felt confident that we were dealing with people who knew what they were talking about, cared about what they did and were hugely positive about their product and justifiably - the windows are superb. Large, double glazed units that immediately cut the heat loss and sound from the outside and because of the perfectly balanced weights, can be raised and lowered with finger-tip control. The finish is beautiful and totally in keeping with the house. The care and precision with which their fitters worked - the place was spotless when they left - belies the amount of work involved and all the work is guaranteed. It has been a pleasure dealing with them.

I knew my windows and French Doors needed replacing to halt water penetration but the thought of work and mess of 2 large bay windows and doors being replaced filled me with dread. It need not have. From the initial measuring up, quote and work being carried out, the process was smooth. More so the work itself. There were no issues with the windows actually fitting and the installers were incredibly professional and efficient. My only job was coffee making and glad to do it. This is now the second time I have purchased windows from London Box Sash. The first window was two years ago and it still looks brand new. London Box Sash Windows replaced 6 single glazed windows in our Victorian terrace in Herne Hill with new double glazed wooden sash windows. They were the most competitive and transparent of the 3 quotes we got and the whole process was seamless from start to finish. From the initial visit from Jake, through the booking and billing process with Judith, we were impressed with their prompt responses and helpful attitude. The lead time we were given was spot on and, once we were given a date for the work to start, this did not slip. Audrius, who carried out the work, was hardworking, punctual, efficient and left the house spotless each evening. We couldn’t believe the quality of his work. We barely needed any touching up work from the decorator we had booked to help us afterwards. 6 windows were replaced and decorated in only 4 days, with minimum mess and disruption. Our house is now smarter, quieter and noticeably warmer.

The manufacturing waiting time was as planned and the installation was perfect. Overall excellent!

I can only echo all the favourable comments in the other reviews for London Box Sash Windows. Our job was a replacement of sash windows and French doors at the rear of the house in Belsize Park (built-in 1860), including two very large windows (ceiling height is 12ft 6 inches). The job was done super efficiently in only two and a half days with the guys arriving on the dot each day. The finished result is immaculate and an exact copy of the old original sash windows. During the job the working area was fully isolated by a polythene 'tent' - so no dust spreading everywhere and all left neat and tidy each day. Thanks also to the friendly office staff and the original estimator - very easy to deal with. So, overall full marks - we're looking forward to a much cosier winter!

After much research we chose London Box Sash Windows to do the bespoke windows and rear doors on our house in Chiswick. We chose them as they seemed very in tune with how to match window style in older property, which ours is. Frankly after installation we were blown away by how good they looked and the attention to detail on installation and making good. Rooms already warmer! The process has been very pleasant and I can’t speak too highly of Jake, the initial estimator we had, the team that followed through. Especially mention to the installation guys who were very professional and really spent time checking on the finishing touches I have no problem recommending them to anyone.

I don’t usually leave reviews but wanted to make an exception for London Box Sash. The whole team was fantastic from initial enquiry and sales to fitting to after-care and billing. We had all of the sash windows in our Victorian terrace replaced and although it felt like a huge outlay (these guys are very competitive though) once the windows were fitted you I was very happy we had decided to provide proceed. We had read previous positive reviews of London Box Sash Windows on the Which? Trusted Trader site and they had been highly recommended by a neighbour who had had work done by them recently. In our experience, those recommendations and reviews are accurate and well deserved. We had two large bay windows at the front of our Victorian terraced house replaced and also two smaller windows at the back. The company also installed plantation-style shutters on most of those windows. It was a big job, done right on schedule and right on budget. Judith kept us well informed prior to installation. Jasper, David, and Rafal arrived punctually and were friendly and courteous throughout the five days they were with us. Their work was carried out professionally and to a high standard. They cleaned up scrupulously at the end of each day. Their attention to detail and finish, internally and externally, was excellent - they really did go above and beyond to make everything just the way we wanted it: we are delighted with our new windows and shutters. The sash windows that I had installed almost two years ago, still work beautifully and receive many admiring comments. This company was recommended by friends who had French doors fitted. We got several quotes for a large picture window and London Box Sash were prompt, friendly and efficient. They offered a really high quality product at a reasonable price including a discount if you chose to wait for a last minute opening for installation. We had the front windows done by LBS in 2016 and just had 2 replaced in July 2021. Very happy with installation and the quality of the windows. Indeed, recent changes to design have improved them further. Judith, Patrick and Aud were always responsible and courteous. Aud our installer was very tidy and efficient. We are very pleased with our new windows, which looks stunning! The team at London Box Sash windows were very knowledgeable, professional, organised, approachable, and did a fantastic job making and installing all of our house new windows. The Accoya wood windows looks amazing and they are truly the Ferrari of any window you can get! We got a good deal with them as well, as we signed up for the flexible order option (as were not in a rush to have them installed at a specific date). This is the third time we have used London Box Sash Windows and are very happy with the Company. We moved into a new flat in September and had a cold winter as the previous French doors were over a 100 years old, single glazed and poorly insulated. The new French doors installed by London Box Sash Windows have transformed our dining room in many ways. The design was made to match the Victorian character of the house and the new French doors are beautiful, they have really enhanced the room. We have instantly notice a huge improvement in soundproofing. We can't hear any noise at all when the doors are closed. We feel a lot safer, the doors are robust whereas the previous one was quite fragile and we used to worry about people breaking in. We haven't tested the impact on heating and energy consumption yet as it is the summer now, but we can no longer feel the draft that was previously coming through the old French doors, so we think we will be a lot warmer this winter. So, yes, very happy with the quality of our new French doors and also very happy with the team at London Box Sash Windows. They are very friendly, respectful, reliable, came on time, left the flat spotless and were wearing masks. We recommend London Box Sash Windows 100%!

London Box Sash Windows recently replaced all the original sash windows in our Edwardian terraced home which offered almost no insulation from noise and draughts. From start to finish the experience was excellent, from pre-sale (with no hard sell tactics) through to fitting (efficient, clean and tidy) we were kept fully informed at every stage and the level of knowledge, experience, attention to detail and workmanship was second to none. The windows fit perfectly, look stunning and are in keeping with the age of the property. Additionally, the anticipated reduction in noise pollution and improved heat retention have not disappointed in the slightest. The installation team were also able to reinstate our existing shutters as an added bonus. As the guys were working on our bay windows downstairs I sat in my bedroom on a work call. I could not stop staring at our new replacement window which had been installed the previous day, and I mailed Judith to tell her that. It's such a difference, even setting aside any notion of resale value. The benefit to the look of the property inside and out is immediate. Other benefits like energy efficiency, noise reduction, and lack of condensation seem like icing on the cake. It's as though I feel more at home just standing in a room and looking out. The guys are very considerate and do a great job keeping the mess under control. The service is not cheap, but it's very good value. I feel good having spent the money. I intend to engage them again for plantation shutters, which I'm told they can do on their installed windows without needing to measure up.

We had used London Box Sash Windows a few years ago and were very happy with the job so we called them again to change the windows of our new flat as they were very old and single glazed. The quality of the new double glazed windows London Box Sash Windows made and fitted for us is excellent. The team were very nice and professional. They used protective sheets and left our flat spotless, despite the job creating a lot of dust. The day after the windows were fitted we noticed some minor fixing that was needed. The Company came back after a few days and fixed the job with no fuss, which we much appreciated. Something worth mentioning as well is they strictly comply with the covid rules, they all wore masks at all times when walking in the flat and we felt safe having them around to replace our windows despite the pandemic. Excellent service throughout the whole process from quoting through surveying and fitting. Andy came on time it was a 3 day job his work was exceptional he asked me when he had to fit the windows to make sure I would be happy with the the look as like all old property windows not the same size.Right from the first talk with the company I was so impressed with whole way my order was completed .Andy made sure plastic covered my furniture and each night cleaned away.
