The initial consultation with Jack was great. He was polite, highly knowledgeable, very informative and not at all pushy. He offered various options for the wood/glass type to the final design. Although by no means the cheapest, both the high quality of the product and their experience means they are good value. The fitter, Andy, worked incredibly hard and obviously was highly experienced. He was also friendly and took pride in his work. The finished product looks great. I was also surprised how tidy everywhere was when Andy finished. I highly recommend London Box Sash.

We have had seven windows and a single patio door replaced by London Box Sash over the last four months, in two batches. We would recommend them without reservation to anyone who wants to pay a bit extra for premium quality. The range of choices available is clearly explained with no pressure to buy any particular product, and every question we had was factually answered to our satisfaction. Booking fitting dates was stress-free and flexible, and if you can go with their standby schedule you can get a bit of a discount. The installation was professionally done, and most important of all, the quality of the product is lovely - with just the right combination of traditional appearance and modern technology (sound proofing, heat insulation, anti-condensation, long-lasting treated wood that doesn't expand etc), tailored to your particular choices. The people we dealt with (Jack, Patrick and Judith) were all pleasant and efficient, and it is lovely to see that a family-run company can compete successfully in this market. They deserve to flourish, and we thoroughly recommend them.

We replaced all the windows of our property with London Box Sash Windows and they not only provided an excellent product of superb quality but an outstanding customer service too. They were very flexible with our timings. Turned up on time every morning and left the property spotless each day and completed the job on time. Since the windows were fitted we have received various great and positive comments from neighbours and friends about them! We would definitely recommend them and with no doubt would hire them again. I had four replacement sash windows fitted in the autumn having had others replaced previously by another company. There really is no comparison - both in the quality of the product and the customer service. All the staff at London Box Sash Windows are friendly, reliable and do a great job. The guys that came and fitted the windows were always on time, were respectful of my home and cleared up very well. The windows have made a real difference to the warmth of my home over the winter. I have no hesitation in recommending this company.

We could not rate London Box Sash highly enough. No hard sell, offer a high-quality product that you pay a little more for (as opposed to refurbishing existing windows, which was our original preference) but in our view, well worth the investment. Jack and Patrick clearly love what they do and made the whole experience a pleasure. They understood that new windows were a real investment for us and at no point did we ever feel we were given pressured into making a decision, and we were very patient with answering questions and their explanations. Our windows look beautiful and operate wonderfully. The whole process was great, the initial decision on which specification to installation. We were kept informed on lead times and it was never difficult to reach out and have questions answered. Andy, our fitter, was efficient, took care with the install, sealed off the rooms properly so the dust in the rest of the house was kept to a minimum. He takes real pride in his work and it really shows through in the windows. He discovered problems with the lintel above the bay window, but took initiative to resolve rather than turning it into an issue. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

I had 4x new sash windows fitted at my flat in Balham and I can't speak highly enough about my experience with London Box Sash. From start to finish they were true professionals. Patrick and Jack did a great job measuring up and talking me through the various options, and I never felt under pressure. When it was time for the installation both their fitters (Andy & Anjelo) were first class. They protected the carpet in the entire communal hallway, dust-sheeted everywhere and when they left the flat was spotless. Great guys and never thought twice about handing them the keys. The product itself is perfect - really nicely weighted sash movement, great paint finish and I'm told the Accoya wood is incredibly durable. Patrick told me that cleaning the windows would be easy, because of the texture and quality of the Accoya, all I would need was a good quality shammy and any stains would come off with tap water. With that quality obviously comes a price, and as Jack will tell you these aren't cheap windows. Having lived with them for the last four months, the quality fully justifies the price. Ipso facto; trust received, responsibility given and taken. All in all, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend London Box Sash and their windows, which prove that a good idea, is a good idea forever. We had five windows replaced in three rooms at the back of the house. Unfortunately we do not have sash windows at the front. The whole process was completely trouble-free with Jack and Patrick gaining our confidence with their straightforward, no hard-sell approach. Judith responded promptly and Andy was great. We were away for the first couple of days so missed all the real disruption. When we came home on the third day, Andy was finishing off round the edges of the frames. We wanted the windows to be as near to the originals as possible and they are. The workmanship looks superb and-it may be our imagination -the house feels warmer already. We have no draughts and no armies of ladybirds coming in to die on the carpet! We went on the Which? recommendations and would endorse them all. The windows are not as cheap as UPVC ones but so much more attractive.

From start to finish our experience with London Box Sash Windows has been excellent and I would thoroughly recommend them. Having met with a number of providers they were the most professional and no hard sell. Throughout Jack, Patrick and Judith were always quick to reply, very knowledgeable and worked with our builder to make everything come together. Andy (the fitter) was a pleasure to have in the house, put in the hours to get it all finished and left the house so clean and tidy. The windows are fantastic, they look great and have given us much warmer rooms. The gift of a bag of log burning blocks from the factory was the icing on the cake from a genuinely lovely company with a brilliant product.

I have just had 4 front elevation sash windows replaced, in a Victorian end of terrace house in South East London, by London Box Sash Windows and I am thrilled with them. The whole process from getting tenders, through the survey, administration and installation has been excellent. Jack and Patrick guided me through what was offered and what the installation process was, Judith in the office dealt with the administrative issues promptly and efficiently and Andy the installer was very quick, efficient, informative and left no mess - what more could you want. The quality and finish of the windows is excellent, the difference the windows have made to the warmth and sound in my house is noticeable, and they look so good! We have recently had all the windows replaced by Londonboxsash in our Edwardian home in Tooting and are absolutely delighted with the results. London Box Sash Windows have recently fitted to my late Victorian house a rear door to the garden, two casement windows and three sash windows. Over the years, I've had two listed houses completely renovated, and in my professional life I have led on the restoration of an important Grade II listed 1896 music school in south east London. I'm struggling to think of a more positive experience with any supplier or service company than I've had with Jack and Patrick Ellis, whose product line is surely second to none. And I cannot speak too highly for the workmanship of Ramunas, the joiner-fitter they scheduled for this job; his profoundly adept handling of materials, client-facing skills and work ethic brought out the best in what the workshop had custom-crafted for my home, and I am very grateful to the whole team.

We have just had our one hundred year old bedroom windows replaced by London Box Sash Windows. We had several quotes but went with a family run business. From Jack arriving with samples of a beautiful product designed by his father and Patrick coming to do the survey ,we were impressed. Then Andy and Angelo fitted the three Windows over a three day period and were excellent. Very clean and tidy, extremely helpful to me when my husband was away ,helping me to put furniture back, above and beyond the call of duty. We got several different quotes for replacing the windows in our 1930s semi detached. Jack and Patrick were recommended to us and were a head a shoulders above the rest in their customer service. Came to see us straight away and were happy to spend time working out solutions and making suggestions. Andy and Angelo came to fit the windows and did a great job. Arrived on time, worked really hard, polite, friendly, explained stuff and cleaned up after themselves each day. I really feel like they all cared about the outcome for me, the customer. The windows make such a difference and look amazing.

Since we moved into our Victorian house three years ago, we have been working our way through replacing the existing windows which were pretty much held together by paint. We saw a number of companies initially but settled for London Box Sash Windows due to the quality of the product but also the strong sense of a family company. We have had around 14 windows replaced now over 3 stints and not had any regrets. The latest installation of two windows was completed two weeks ago. The quality is excellent and with the Accoya wood we haven't had any sticky frames or needed any other follow up adjustments. It is always a pleasure to deal with Patrick and Jack during the order process and you are kept well informed throughout by Judith in the office. The installers Francois, Ramunas and Andy have all been extremely professional and taken great pride in their work. And at the end of it all, we are left with some beautiful windows inside and out which have enhanced the house. And we still have more to sort so will be back in the future.

London Box Sash did a great job - my windows look great! You get the feel of a family firm when Jack comes to measure for the quote, and then brother Patrick for the more detailed survey. Our windows were fitted by Ramunas and Angelo, who were very polite, bust a gut to get it done as quickly as possible and cleaned up after themselves. Highly recommended!

I looked at a number of sash window companies and am very happy I made the right decision to go with London Box Sash. The service and product are both faultless. The team were friendly and professional, delivered on time and responded quickly to a couple of concerns I had. The fitter Ramonas did a fabulous job and left my home spotless. The windows are beautiful and the quality by far exceeds window products I saw from other companies. A big thank you to the whole team. My only regret is that I didn't find them sooner.

We have just had our front bay windows replaced upstairs and down. The new windows match perfectly the original Edwardian style. The estimate was competitively priced and the whole process went smoothly. Andy, the fitter, was excellent and finished the work well on time. He finished off the work meticulously and furniture was protected from dust and dirt; he cleaned up each evening and we quickly were able to put back curtains and furniture. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

From the point of quotation, through to the final fitting, London Box Sash were excellent in all of their work. Jack and Patrick were communicative, and swift in their quotation and surveying, and when they arrived, the windows fitted seamlessly and in the given timetable. The level of tidiness of the install team was exceptional, and you really did not know they had been in each day. We had a couple of specific requests for the windows, that they followed perfectly, and have maximised the light and space in our small house to perfection. Many of our neighbours have asked where we got the windows, and I have no hesitation in recommending London Box Sash to anyone. As a Project Manager for a fit out company, I am exceptionally fussy about finish, and I could not find a fault in the installation of any kind.
