Couldn't be better - booking easy, reminders sent of visit, engineer arrived on time and completed work in efficient and friendly manner. Prices reasonable too.

I had a very poor experience today, returning to this firm after using them last year with no bother. Booking made 2 weeks previously, 12-4 call out. Promised first call of the afternoon (reiterated over the phone). Called at 1330 asking where plumber was. Told he was delayed on morning job, called me back at 1420. Received call at 1500 to say he would be another half hour. I questioned why, lady (who turned out to be the owner) started raising voice, told me I was calling her a liar, and would cancel the appointment. I was taken aback to be honest, I had merely questioned how a job could have overrun by 3 hours plus. She got even more irritated and then put the phone down on me. I didn't raise my voice once. If she has a recording of the call she's welcome to submit it. Very, very poor. Can only assume there's a lot of mugs out there willing to put up with this. I would lose my customers fast with an attitude like that. Anyone know a good, reliable, plumber?

My taps had been leaking for some weeks and various work was done on them, but they still continued to leak. It appeared that the new parts were slightly different from the original, so minor adjustments were made and I am now leak free. The plumbers were very cheerful about their work which was done very efficiently. I would recommend this company.

The job was to stop a leak from the side shower on the bath. After the initial call out, the engineer ordered a new part. When the part arrived, it was it was the wrong one. So another was ordered and installed, but the leak continued and the tap worked in the opposite way, so turning on the tap produced a shower unexpectedly. Finally another engineer ordered another part and fitted it and it now works beautifully.

I had some 35 year old faulty sink mixer tap, shower mixer and gate values replaced. The engineer was friendly, tidy and efficient. Work was completed as per the quote. Would highly recommend.

Lucas plumbing was very professional from the time I had contacted them, booking was quick, engineer turned on time and completed the job without much hassle, Invoice sent on the same day with follow up call from the office - a truly end-to-end service!

Came out the following day to our call. We had established the fault after calling the manufacturer and the part was sent overnight so the engineer could not have come sooner. Engineer very friendly and helpful and repair carried out efficiently.

We called this company after seeing a recommendation on Facebook. Scott did a fab job of finding the problem and fixing our heating and hot water we are really happy with the work that was carried out after previously having another plumber and electrician in who could not find the fault at all. I would definitely use this company again if I have any other problems in the future, they send out workers who know what they are doing.

The service engineer who did the work (repair) on our heating system was great, arrived on time and was very professional and competent in his work. The work was carried out and completed in the time allocated and was very tidy in his approach. We had a leaking pump valve so both valves were replaced. So great service including email reminders of our work slot, and easy communication with the office. All in all very good and would definitely recommend Lucas heating and plumbing.
