If I may say, Kya, the technician who was sent out, is a great asset to your company. He was very polite, and no amount of questions I asked was too many, as I was curious about how the heater, boiler, and water system in the apartment work. Kya provided clear explanations and insights while carrying out his work. Daniela, who handled my initial call and inquiry, was also very professional and friendly. Unfortunately, I can't recall the name of the gentleman who answered the phones on the day of the work, but his politeness, friendliness, and professionalism were equally noted. I would recommend Lucas Plumbers to anyone in need of a good team providing excellent service.

Unexpectedly large water bill. No obvious leak. The Lucas team were very quick to answer my e-mail and I got a slot on the day. A very clear and knowledgeable young man arrived at the end of the day, and narrowed things down quickly. Turned out it was a very small persistent leak from toilet cistern to bowl. Resolved in less than 30 minutes. Great service from the word go - excellent plumber firm. Thank you.

We used to use Lucas Plumbing for our oil boiler until it was replaced by a heat pump. When we had a small plumbing job, we naturally called them again since they had always been very dependable. The engineer came on time and was very pleasant and helpful. He was careful and set about replacing a pair of faulty tap cartridges. This was done efficiently and all was proved to be working perfectly. All in all a very positive experience from a throughly excellent engineer working for a friendly and experienced local company.

The Engineer arrived on time did all the work requested and answered our general queries regarding the wisdom of a power flush of our radiators. He explained why sectors of some radiators were cooler. A helpful emailed quote as to how much such work would cost followed.

Pool boiler wouldn’t ignite. After several visits a number of parts needed replacing. The engineer was outstanding and prepared to come at the weekend. Puts customer service at many other plumbers to shame. Office admin really on the ball also. Bill was v expensive for parts however.

Lucas plumbing was very quick to respond to an emergency call out. I came down stairs to find water gushing out from underneath my washing machine. It was a small pipe coming from the mains that was leaking badly it entailed some of the wall being removed .The problem was quickly identified and fixed with very little mess for a very fair price. Finn who did the job is very well trained and very capable. I am very impressed by Lucas plumbing. Belinda Hayes

We had our boiler changed by Lucas Plumbing, they arrived when they said they would, they were tidy and completed on schedule and budget. There was a small teething problem they came straight back and fixed the problem. They were friendly and competent and aways kept us informed off the progress. Thank you.

As ever having used Lucas Plumbing and Heating on a number of occasions in the past, the work carried out efficiently as usual. Thanks to the engineer as usual site left clean and tidy again . My elderly parents had a diswasher installed by Currys, but after an hour the water connection pipe joint burst and water was coming out at mains pressure. My mother called me in a panic and it took me half an hour to get to their house. Water was everywhere and I turned off the mains. Currys couldn't attend until the next day and my parents had no water except of course the inch of water on the kitchen floor! I phoned Lucas who we use for our normal plubing needs. They pulled out all the stops and got to us in less than 2 hours with parts so that we could get the water back on. We were so relieved and grateful to Lucas for sorting this out for us.

We had a problem throughout the house related to an outside service pump. As always Lucas Plumbing and Heating managed to visit at a time to suit us on the day as we suddenly had to be at an appointment, so they moved us to the last call . The problem was identified so we were then able to resolve it. They do all our annual servicing too and have done for many years. I highly recommend.

I found Lucas Plumbing & Heating to be highly unprofessional. Recently they carried out annual boiler service and reported gas under pressure problem : (i.e implying either gas leak or undersized pipes by the original installer). The original installer came from Eastleigh to Wokingham the very next day for investigation and found that Lucus Engineer had taken the gas readings incorrectly(the actual working pressure difference between meter and boiler was 0.3 mb and not 3.5 mb as reported by Lucus ), causing unnecessary panic. On top of that Lucus rejected paying the original installer for the inconvenience . I would definitely avoid this company in the future.
