M & T Bathroom and Kitchen Installations

Mark was recommended to us. We had to wait six months for him but it was well worth it. The new kitchen is superb with great attention to detail. He always asked our preference on which way doors should open, where to place the handles etc. Nothing was too much trouble, even arranging for items that were not needed to be returned and a refund made to us. The work was completed in budget and in good time. Mark is very punctual - always arriving at 8am on the dot! He always tidied away at the end of the day and made the whole process of renewing the kitchen stress free.

Mark recommended to us and we were told to get in quick as he is always busy. If you can phone a tradesman and they’re ready straight away, you’d question their quality of work and why they aren’t fully booked. Sure enough Mark was full, so we were more than happy to join the queue. Our kitchen space hadn’t been updated for some time and with constant day to day traffic, pets and myself, who uses the space as an art/craft studio sometimes, it was very much in need of some updating and modernisation. Mark had already made some suggestions at measure up stage, which we took on board. The estimate was promptly provided, with full explanation of work. Work started promptly, with everything perfectly coordinated, causing minimum disruption to us, to the point that we could, if required leave Mark to it for the day (without us hovering watching the magic happen-just what every craftsman loves-people hovering ). I can only describe the work as pure perfection, our walls a very slightly off-straight, but our windowsill has been levelled to correct this, ensuring tiling, units and workshops are all perfectly level and everything fits exactly as it should with easements and adjustments made along the way, to ensure the end result was nothing short of perfect. Aside from the attention to detail, there was no mess, no untidiness along the way, all debris is cleared and your space is left safe to use, with Mark advising you if things need to dry/set. Work was completed on time with no snagging.

I first came across Mark on Trusted Traders and I must say I was taken aback by the positive reviews. I immediately made contact and arranged a time for him to stop by to assess our bathroom for a much-needed renovation. My husband and I were instantly impressed with his mannerism and professionalism, but most importantly, his overall honesty! The renovation works to our bathroom were only recently carried out and I absolutely love the end result! The tiling is perfect, the grouting is perfect, Mark's work is just perfect and I CANNOT recommend him enough!!! He will keep you up to date throughout the day, make genuine recommendations when and if necessary and because of these small but important gestures, Mark is worth waiting for! I cannot recommend a more trustworthy, reliable tradesman!!! Thank you Mark.

We chose Mark following reviews on this site. He managed our expectations throughout by saying it would be quite a wait before he could start and he allowed plenty of time to complete the job. The finished job is wonderful and exceeded our expectations. Mark came up with some suggestions along the way which enhanced the finished job. Mark not only did an excellent job but he is also a real pleasure to deal with. We would have no hesitation in recommending him.

We have recently had our bathroom and upstairs toilet fitted by Mark. He had a very busy schedule, the sign of a respected fitter, so we had to wait for its installation, but it was definitely worth the wait! We had a few issues with regard to the layout of our bathroom, as there was a chimney we had to deal with, but he provided a few layout suggestions and his advice was invaluable. During the fit Mark always arrived promptly, covered the carpet and worked hard and solidly until he left at the end of his day, when he would ensure all was clean and tidy. He was friendly and polite and at every point where a decision had to be made he always asked/checked how we would like to continue and never assumed what we would want. In addition, he always made sure we had use of the toilet, even though it was part of the update. His attention to detail was excellent, nothing was a problem and as a result we have the most amazing, luxurious bathroom and toilet! We will, without a doubt be scheduling him in to install a downstairs toilet and would absolutely recommend him to anyone who needs a bathroom or kitchen installed.

Mark installed a bathroom for us over a week period. This included stripping out and disposing of old suite, plastering, tiling and fitting new units/flooring. Each day he was clear with what he was doing and engaged us when he needed us to advise on our preference on things. His attention to detail, professionalism & timekeeping were exceptional, and we genuinely feel we made the right choice by choosing him. The work was completed slightly under budget, due to our boards being in good condition...which Mark advised on day 1 to us. Mark cleaned and tidied up after each day and ensured things were safe overnight. We highly recommend, and would not hesitate to use him again.

From the moment Mark arrived we knew we had someone special. He got straight down to the job and worked from the minute he arrived till he left. He tidied up as he went and took every thing being scrapped straight away in his van. His work is impeccable. He is thoroughly professional and went above and beyond our expectations. We were originally let down by our fitter after isolation in March and when I read about Mark on this Which site I knew he was the one to fit our bathroom. He said that he was completely booked until November and I’m so glad we waited the 8 moths for him. We are so pleased with our new bathroom. We need some more work done, so have already asked him to book us in, in June. My husband and myself would thoroughly recommend you wait for the best.

Mark had previously moved a bathroom for me so I had no hesitation getting him back to completely renovate my kitchen. The old kitchen was gone within hours, with minimal dust and disruption. Once the new kitchen was delivered the majority of it was installed within ready for another company to come in and template the worktop. Mark worked exactly to time, as before and is always extremely clean and tidy. The attention to detail is what sets him part from the others, making sure that everything is finished to a very high standard and came in exactly on budget.

We had used Mark 2 years ago to refurbish our downstairs cloakroom. He had done a good job then, so when we decided it was time to re-furbish our bathroom and en-suite we simply contacted Mark again as we trusted him to do a good job. Mark came round to talk to us and discuss our ideas and even made some suggestions himself to help. He provided us with a reasonable quote and we booked a date for the work to start. During the build, Mark was punctual, worked hard and made sure every day the house was left in a good state. Mark updated us with how the work was going and at points would ask us how we wanted certain things done, always offering us alternatives if available. The end result was two fantastic rooms that were even better than we had imagined. It was stress free experience and we knew Mark would make sure it was all done on time and to a fantastic finish. what set Mark apart was the pride he had in his work. We can certainly recommend Mark and will try and book him in for our next renovation.

Mark Wood completely transformed my old bathroom. His work is first class and he pays attention to detail always leaving the place tidy. I am delighted with the results. Mark was pleasant and always punctual and finished the job on time. I would certainly recommend Mark to anyone who needs work on their bathroom.

Mark has completed a total kitchen refurbishment which included a wall being knocked down as well as underfloor heating. He managed to co-ordinate all the different traders we needed extremely well. Everything went according to plan and we couldn’t have been happier with the finish. Nothing was too much trouble for Mark as he always found a way around a problem. He was always on time, informed us of what was going on and finished when he said he would! Mark has now also just finished our downstairs cloakroom, including installation of a water softener. He did this while we were away and when we came back it was all done very well again we couldn’t be happier. Everything was left clean and tidy. We would definitely use Mark again and are only too happy to recommend him.

Mark moved my downstairs bathroom upstairs to a spare bedroom and then converted the original bathroom into a utility room and downstairs toilet. The quote was very reasonable and I was advised that the work would take three weeks. As I work full time and he came highly recommended from a work colleague, I gave Mark a set of door keys so that I did not have to take time off of work. Mark's standard of work is excellent, he has a great eye for detail and always makes suggestions to get the best fit or finish. During the work, he was constantly in touch with me about the progress he was making and left clear instructions at the end of the day as to what was left to do and what I could and couldn't use!! The work was completed on time and within the agreed budget. I would highly recommend Mark; I'm already planning on getting him back to fit my new kitchen!

Mark is an experienced and skilled bathroom fitter who did a wonderful job on our cloakroom and bathroom. He is punctual, works hard and is very tidy. If there are little glitches he copes with them well and keeps the customer informed of what is happening. The work was carried out to budget and to schedule. He helped us in the initial phase of planning the rooms with helpful suggestions, but when we made changes was flexible with what we needed. Overall it was a very good experience and we are very pleased with the final results. Thoroughly recommended!

Mark is a very experienced, hard working decent guy. He did an absolutely great job fitting our new kitchen. Always on time and happy to help. Would recommend him 100%. And will definitely call him back to do our bathroom 👍🏻

Mark was recommended by our daughter. He was great designing the kitchen talking through what might work and what options were available to us. Prompt service and really helpful from planning to fitting. Had to wait a bit to have the kitchen fitted but well worth the wait, the kitchen looks great with a high quality finish. I would highly recommend Mark if you want a kitchen or bathroom completed.

Mark fitted a new toilet and washbasin upstairs for me. He made a great job and always cleaned up after he had finished every day. I think he went above and beyond with his work. I would definitely recommend Mark to my family and friends. He arrived promptly every morning and made sure that he covered all the carpets to lessen the mess, when he had finished every evening he vacuumed and cleaned and made sure the place looked clean and tidy. All in all, Mark was a very polite, friendly and genuine person.

We had to wait a little while for Mark to refit our kitchen and bathroom, but he was very well worth waiting for. He paid meticulous attention to detail and his expertise ensured a professional, perfect finish which we were delighted with, and at a very reasonable cost, within budget and on time. He works hard and will offer recommendations for improvements which only comes from experience and a thought for the best finish to the job. We have used Mark twice for our bathrooms, really pleased with both of them- Mark works really hard all day to a very high standard, his clear communication - recommendations and experience of what works and looks best is continuous. We had Mark install our kitchen and bathroom, he was super helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We really wanted a walk in shower and he recommended where to buy the products at a reasonable price and fitted the whole bathroom for us. We would highly recommend him.

Mark came and worked on 1 family bathroom, 2 ensures and a downstairs toilet for us over a couple of years. Mark completely re-furbished a bathroom for us, including fitment of flooring, free-standing bath, digital shower and bath, pumps in the attic, rad installation, removal of wall, cabinet fitting and arrangement of electrics. Bathroom is superb, with excellent quality and Mark provided really helpful advice on how to give it the extra sparkle. He even lowered the shower floor by dropping the wastes under the floor boards to give a near wet room look. So impressed, we got Mark back to re-furbish master ensuite. This time, bath replaced with wet room shower (including building a stud wall), another pump for digital shower, heated and lit mirror and double-vanity unit. Electrics tracked into drywall for chargers in bathroom cabinet, heated underfloor, sensor with dimmed light for those night time loo visits and replacement rad and extractor fan. Again, stunning job - had tonnes of compliments. We had one problem with the heated floor and one of the spotlights failed, but Mark came back in quick time and fixed both for free. Mark came back for another ensuite and then downstairs loo. Again, great design input, everything concealed, high quality, good price and professionally executed. Mark is always cheery, grafts hard throughout the day and is always ready for a laugh. We've recommended him to neighbours in our cul-de-sac and they've been equally pleased.

We've used Mark a few times, found him when we did our bathroom through B&Q 9 years ago, he did such an amazing job there, so when we wanted to change our kitchen he was the only person we thought to call. Mark is a lovely bloke, very trustworthy and a perfectionist. But more than that, he uses his knowledge and experience to make brilliant suggestions, too many to mention here. Needless to say, both big projects were made better by the recommendations he made. He's done a couple of smaller jobs for us as well, we'd never go anywhere else to be honest. Like I said, top bloke and blimmin good at his job.

Mark did a fabulous job refitting our bathroom and downstairs cloakroom. His advice was invaluable in the bathroom advising the best possible use of the space available. The bath was removed and a large walk in shower installed and the basin and toilet were re positioned and the room completely tiled. We are thrilled with the result. The downstairs cloakroom was completely ripped out and a new toilet, vanity unit and wall unit installed and completely tiled. Again, we couldn’t be more pleased. Everything was completed to a high standard and at a very reasonable price. He is trustworthy and reliable. We really couldn’t recommend him more highly.

Mark installed a complete new bathroom, which included re positioning toilet, sink and installing new shower. Work completed on time and in budget. Mark was left on his own for one week to carry out the job. On return job was completed, premises clean, no damage. This is the second bath room installation Mark has done for us. He carried out the same type off work in our down stairs cloakroom.
