Edinburgh's largest family run, trusted, Plumbing & Heating Engineers. Scott Findlay began as a sole trader and has built up the business over the past 30 years, now employing 13 plumbing and heating engineers covering the whole of the city.
We offer convenient one hour arrival slots to make things easy for you and all works are fully insured & guaranteed for 12 months.
Fully Gas Safe registered, providing all types of heating and plumbing work from complete boiler and central heating installations, through to the smallest of repairs.
We are Worcester Bosch Accredited Installers and Edinburgh's largest independent domestic installer of Worcester boilers.

With the lottery that is finding a reliable trader, especially for a major job as a full central heating replacement, it was a delight to find Scott Findlay and his team. New boiler with all the trimmings, and bath taps & silicone sealant replaced over 2 days, all done to high standard and with a high quality service. We'd had a Scott Findlay engineer visit us before - boiler troubles - and it was great when the same engineer, Kevin, walked through the door. The whole process from start to finish was really easy and straightforward, from dealing with Claire Findlay via e-mail/telephone, to John's home visit to make sure we knew what would be taking place to Kevin's great work on the installation itself. All in all, a top quality service from a highly recommended local business.

We chose Scott Findlay because he gave us a much more thorough assessment of the work to be done than the other firms - with a price that was still in line with them. Good communication and planning really set this firm apart. There weren't any of the missing parts, delays, or undeclared changes that we'd come to dread when getting a big job done. Everyone was pleasant throughout, keen to make sure we knew what was going on, and very tidy.

We have used Scott Findlay a number of times now, over 15 years & recently had a Worcester combi boiler fitted along with associated works, including the Wave (wifi controller). Excellent work carried out, by such a professional company, with fabulous staff. We have used this company a few times - initially for a routine service of our ancient boiler, but more recently to replace the boiler for a more compact, efficient Worcester model. On each occasion when we've had people from this company in our house we've been thoroughly impressed by their care, attention to detail and professional service. Every person we've dealt with, from Claire in the office, Scott when he came to estimate for a new boiler and the engineers - Kevin, Simon and Kenny - we've been extremely happy with the friendly, meticulous work and the pride that they all take in their work. Everything was carefully explained to us and there was virtually no mess to clear up when they had finished. I have and will continue to recommend this company to friends looking for any plumbing/heating work done.
