Mark and Sam did a great job of installing a new boiler for me. They converted my system boiler to a combi removing redundant tank and piping and relocating the boiler to a more convenient location. I’m really pleased with the job they have done. Mark came highly recommended from a friend and I can see why. I thought the cost of the work was really competitive, he was really flexible and managed to get the work done quickly in a timeframe that worked for me and the quality of the finish was great. Mark and Sam were really professional and personable and I would highly recommend them.

We had a major extension to our house, over several months, which involved relocating the boiler (1 year old boiler initially installed by Mark and his team) establishing a new unvented cylinder, new hot & cold water, new central heating radiators and piping to the first floor and rerouting of gas services (Ground floor was wet underfloor heating by others). Mark and his team (especially Sam) were flexible, turning up at various stages, to do enabling works, diversions and gradually establishing new systems over multiple visits. The final result is a first class installation and the plant area around the new boiler and cylinder is a master class in plumbing pipe work that deserves to be on show rather than hidden in the garage. My thanks to Mark and Sam for sticking with this project over several months to achieve the superb end result.

Mark is a good communicator and easy to talk to. He gave us helpful professional advice at the quote stage then he & Sam carried out the work in an efficient and tidy manner. They kept to their timetable and quote and kept us advised throughout. They also diagnosed and corrected a long standing problem with the system that had been misdiagnosed by others. Mark and Sam worked very hard on a difficult job, working in a loft that was very hot and small, they did not complain. The work was carried out to a very high standard, very clean and tidy, they were prompt and did not leave us until the job was done, which took three days. We are more than delighted with everything, they are our new go-to plumbers. Highly Recommended.

Having researched local central heating engineers I chose this company from previous reviews. I am pleased to say that we made the right decision. We found Mark and Sam to be very professional and their work was exceptional. They were polite and courteous, they cleaned up any mess made. Mark has upgraded and modernised our central heating system. He called by, assessed the job and provided a helpful outline of what was required. He provided a price and promptly carried out the work. His team worked solidly to complete the work on time. They are friendly, worked cleanly and undertook the work professionally. I have known Mark for over twenty years and l use only him for all my plumbing/ heating needs due to his knowledge, efficiency and professionalism. Mark I know has always worked on the basis that a job done well means a job done once and I can testify to that fact, I have never had any problems with any of his repairs or installations. Given I have relocated to Manchester out of Mark's area I was unsure whether Mark would be able to complete my new boiler installation on this occasion, however, Mark went the extra mile and delivered as he had on all other occasions, sending Sam over to undertake the installation process. I am in the process of a large scale renovation and had never dealt with Sam previously. I can safely say that he was, without doubt, the most professional tradesman we'd had on site, nothing fazed him and he was able to deliver a new boiler and heating system install in fairly tricky conditions. Very impressed with the work carried out from start to finish. Had experienced water pressure problems for a long time but this has now been corrected. The team were very friendly and did a very neat and tidy job. Would highly recommend.

We used Mark Thompson and his team members Greg and Sam for the second time after being impressed with their diligence, reliability and high quality work the first time around (emergency boiler replacement close to Christmas 2019). We needed a whole system replacement in a rambling old house - no small feat in terms of time, money or disruption - and would not have trusted anyone else to do it. The main factor in recommending them is the high level of skill, experience and insight displayed by Mark and his team, but other factors include their courteous, friendly attitude, tidiness, clarity of explanations and general air of conscientious hard work. They were careful to leave us with water and usable spaces over nights, and clear about when there would be noise or unusable rooms, so we could plan around it. The job took three weeks so these small factors became very important, particularly when working from home. Mark, Greg and Sam completed this huge job a day early, achieving a tidy, timely, top quality result, with a much improved heating and hot water system, in a complex, non-standard working environment. They were never late or messy, unfailingly kind and polite even after long, dusty days, utterly trustworthy, and most importantly they are top flight heating engineers. Can't recommend them highly enough.
