Matt and his team recently felled and removed a large walnut tree from our garden. From the initial quote to the completion of the work, the process was seamless and carried out to an exceptionally high standard. I knew Matt and his guys would do a good job from reading other people's reviews but honestly, the efficiency and tidiness blew me away. My ivy tree is now a 1/3rd the size it was but they knew how much to take off ensuring it would grow back. Everything left clean and tidy, not a twig or leaf in the garden, on the drive or road where they were chipping the wood. Thanks so much. Worth every single penny.

Very please with the job pruning a number of tree and hedges in our gardens. Matt is very efficient and understood what we needed, attending when he said to put together an estimate and do the job. Very efficient, today and the cost was very reasonable and as per the estimate. Whilst not a huge job it was too difficult for us to tackle and will defiantly use him for similar jobs in the future.

We had two relatively small jobs done on two trees. The care and attention given to the work was outstanding and they now look 100% better. Turned up on time and left the garden tidier than they found it. We wouldn’t use anyone else.

We had a sycamore pollarded by Matt and his team on the 4th March. They arrived exactly at the time they said they would and completed the work very efficiently and to a very good standard. Once finished the team were extremely careful to ensure the garden and house (had to get the cuttings through the house) were left tidy and free from debris. Very impressed! Will definitely look to use Matt again and would recommend to anyone else.

Matt has trimmed my conifers and hedges for several years. When I first met him I was impressed by his promptness and subsequently his skill and the respect he had for my other garden plants which have never been damaged. I had, therefore, no hesitation in asking him to quote me for removing 5 large conifers which were only one foot away from the neighbour's boundary. Matt did the cutting down, whilst his 2 colleagues and he worked well as a team. He stuck to the quote and also did an extra job for me. His 2 colleagues were sociable and pleasant. He recommended a stump grinder who worked to Matt's high standards and was equally pleasant and proficient. I was delighted with the work and my neighbour was most impressed. Matt responds promptly to communication and answers questions clearly for he is extremely knowledgeable about the trade. I have no hesitation in recommending him.

Matt and his team removed 3 trees from our garden, that had died. Efficient, really helpful and tidied up well.

Estimate and work was carried out adhering to social distancing and to agreed schedule and price. Did exactly what we’d agreed & completed an extra job on the day. They felled a very large oak on 02.12.19. They arrived promptly, worked efficiently and courteously, were very pleasant, and cleared up beautifully. I would recommend them to anybody, and will use them again.

When I first enquired about having my Liquid Amber tree pruned, Matt immediately replied and quickly arranged a site visit. The quote came quickly and we agreed a date for the job. I then had to change the date and Matt was very accommodating and flexible. The job was completed last week by his team and they did a great job. As well as tidying up once the job was completed, they moved my bird bath and feeder back that they'd moved to prevent any damage. I can't recommend Matt and his team highly enough, and will be calling on them again next time the tree needs a trim.

Matt kept in contact with me prior to the work being undertaken. He made helpful suggestions as to how to improve aspects of my overgrown garden, including the difficult removal of tree stump which was right against a boundary wall. On the day, he and his team arrived early. The team worked hard. They were polite, efficient and tidy and showed consideration to our neighbours on both sides. They cut back a number of trees and hedges and removed a dead tree which threatened to fall on our neighbour's garden. They worked swiftly and efficiently and cleared away all the rubbish, including some not generated by them. Matt also arranged to cut back ivy which overhung our neighbour's property, something which was not in his original estimate. I have employed a number if firms to cut back my trees in the past and I can truly say that Matt and his team are the only ones with which I have felt the most comfortable. I would have no hesitation in recommending him and his team.

This is the second time that we have used the services of Mattree Professional Tree Care and we were very happy with the job that they did the first time. We asked him to recommended a tree for us and to plant it. He took us to a tree nursery and clearly explained how the tree that he was recommending would be suitable for our requirements Matt and 5 colleagues turned up on the day that we agreed and on time. They expertly pruned trees and some shrubs, removing all of the branches and left our garden tidy. He successfully planted a Portuguese Laurel Tree. We would use his services again.

I have used Matt on several occasions in the past but this was the biggest job I have asked him to do. He and his team reduced the height and width of about 80ft of overgrown hedge, pruned 4 trees, cut down a very mature pine tree that was close to my house and ground out the stump. The team were safe, quick, polite and very efficient, leaving everything more neat and tidy than it was before they started. The work was completed over 3 days though most was done on day 1. I am delighted with the results - and I think the price was very reasonable for the work done.

Matt obtained the requisite consent from the local authority to undertake work on a very large London Plane tree in our garden, which has a TPO on it. He and his team arrived early, were polite, efficient, tidy and considerate to our neighbors. They did an excellent job and the tree looks fantastic. This is the first time I have used him but had seen some of their previous work commissioned by the estate management company which, was also completed to a high standard. I wouldn't hesitate to use his firm again.

Matt and his team did a very good and thorough job. All details were agreed before the start, the job was carried out quickly and efficiently (by a team of 6) and they finished early. Site was cleared and all rubbish taken away. They did exactly what they said, for the price agreed, very well. Pleased and would be happy to use again in a couple of years when everything has grown back.

Matt and his team have done a complete cut back on our garden three times now, and have done a great job every time. Explain and talk through what they're doing, work efficiently, considerate to the neighbours, and tidy up perfectly afterwards. Would happily recommend.

Matt and his team completed quite an extensive job for us yesterday in South Croydon. This included thinning high trees overlooking the garden and blocking the satellite dish, reducing a Lawson's cypress, docking a high hazel, carefully pruning an olive and much more. We are very pleased with the work done, I should add that Matt's estimate, which he adhered to exactly was much less than that of another local Which Trusted Trader. Very pleased.
