Max Glass have just completed the installation of nine new windows, including two bays and new French doors at our home. From beginning to end,the service has been excellent and straightforward with no pressure selling, and all steps fully explained and adhered to which gave us confidence in the company. The team of fitters were extremely professional,knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and very hardworking. All furnishings, carpets etc were covered and whatever mess was made was thoroughly cleaned up and tidied at the end of each day. The quality of workmanship was of a very high standard as are the products they installed. We are delighted with the end result and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Max Glass.

Just had 4 windows fitted to my 100+year old cottage and they look amazing. From Stephen and Michelle coming and measuring and showing me the styles etc to the 3 young men doing the work, I can’t fault or praise enough. The lads were polite, professional, efficient, and left the cottage spotless. I’ve Never felt so pleased at paying a bill as the workmanship and punctuality from start to finish was commendable. ( apart from the dreaded VAT )

I ordered a new external door and sash windows for my Victorian house. It’s always a worry having work done to a historic house and I’m delighted with the results. From the initial pricing to the final fitting, all family members were on time for each appointment, super lovely to deal with, and they completely tidied up at the end. As a woman ordering and dealing with ordering and installation on my own, it’s important to me that I feel comfortable with people carrying out work to my house and I have no hesitation in recommending Max Glass.

We would thoroughly recommend Max Glass for replacement windows. We had four upvc sash windows installed & are really pleased with the quality & how good they look. We have an old stone cottage so the style of these windows really suit its age. Max Glass were very speedy with all their appointments - from the initial consultation to the date of installation was approx. 4 weeks. Everyone we dealt with (Michelle, Stephen & the young men who installed the windows) were all very professional & friendly - great customer service. Would thoroughly recommend this company if you want a seamless, quality service. Their prices were comparable to other local companies so we are really pleased we went with them.

We have over the last 18 months had a very large build project on which included replacing all existing windows and also adding various new ones. Our builder put us in touch with Max Glass and it turned out to be a great introduction. From the start they were so helpful as we tried to decide on which windows, doors and patio doors to go for and helped with practical advice and questions and never complained when we asked if they could alter the designs and openings. Once the order was placed they worked directly with the builder to ensure the windows could be fitted at the right point in the build project. Post fitting and being paid in full we had a couple of minor snags and they could not have been better in terms of popping in to sort them and never complained when others may well have. Having spoken to people who have used other firms I am so glad we chose Max Glass.

This was part of having an extension built to the house. Max Glass listened carefully to what I wanted. I was very pleased with how they matched the new front door of the extension to the main house doors, ensuring it was in keeping. Nothing was too much trouble and they were happy to answer any questions I had. The installation was very smooth and efficient. Everyone I have dealt with has been kind, friendly and helpful. We chose to replace all our windows and doors in one go. Max Glass were prompt in coming out to visit and provided catalogues and lots of background information and advice. Once we moved to an order Steven came and took more detailed advice and took all the required measurements. Our order was communicated quickly and efficiently by email and details checked. Throughout this period we were under no pressure but were supported throughout to come to our own decisions. Installation dates were agreed upon around our needs and communication was good. The guys who undertook the work were efficient and worked really hard as a team They were polite and respected our home at all times. Once the windows were fitted you could hardly tell they had been at all. A really professional job. The team leader kept us updated of any issues and these were quickly sorted. I would strongly recommend MaxGlass for the quality of service throughout and the quality of the products they install.

Impressive team of 3 men arrived exactly at the time specified, removed 2 old external doors and frames, and replaced with new composite doors etc. Great product and excellent work. They had left within 5 hours of arriving and that included cleaning up. Invoiced within 24 hours with an attached guarantee. I would recommend.

In response to my initial enquiry at the showroom, Stephen provided me with a beautifully presented quotation with a visual representation of the windows, and a very fair price from the outset. Appointment times for measuring-up and installation were spot-on, and the removal / installation on the day was executed very cleanly and with a very neat finish. Chose this company because they were highly rated on trusted traders. In June they fitted a new front door including casing and glazed screen to side plus adjusting fit of conservatory doors. They worked hard and conscientiously and were very tidy. The day after, I noticed a crack in the inner pane of the double glazed screen, just above floor level. I emailed Max Glass many times to explain the issue and occasionally they reply and I agree with them to call when they are in the area but this never happens. It is nearly 4 months since the problem occurred and I have recently emailed asking for a definite time and day for them to call but have not had a response yet. I was going to get them to quote for other work on the house but I have used another company instead.

Max glass windows installed a new front door and set of patio doors for me recently. I thought max glass windows were great from start to finish. I spoke to a few companies before choosing max glass windows. I chose them because their communication up front was by far the best and they were competitively priced. When it came to fitting the doors, I contacted Stephen to see if I could move the fitting date forward and they were very accommodating. On the day they were also brilliant, doing a great job and also completing much quicker than I had expected.

I recently contacted Max Glass to install some new windows and new composite back door. Michelle arrived within the agreed timeslot to do the initial quote, very friendly and knowledgeable lady. Once I agreed to the quote Stephen came round and measured up and made sure I was happy with the designs. Again very, friendly, knowledgeable and great attention to detail. A date and price was agreed and the fitters turned up within the agreed time scale and did a cracking job of fitting and especially cleaning any mess up and removing all rubbish with them. Really pleased with the finished product the windows and door look be be of what I would say high quality and installed with a great deal of care. We had Stephen and his team replace our full house windows and doors. From start to finish it was a highly efficient and professional service. The team arrived when they said they would, did a full day's work and left everything clean and tidy at the end of each day. There was no hard sell when we were obtaining quotes, just a honest nothing hidden figure with no pressure. Initial consultation, survey and quote with Michelle and Stephen were efficient. Installation was certainly not! Receiving a phone call in the afternoon asking if they could install the following morning was not enough notice. They were to replace one window and repair parts of another. The person who carried out the work was surly at best. When I pointed out that the bottom beading on the window had come away, leaving a gap and was sitting proud, "It's your windowsill, we can only work with what we find." ( I offered to get the spirit level out at this point as it was level). I then suggested weighing it down to get it to sit flat, to which he said " It's up to you!". I did, and it worked. They clearly couldn't be bothered getting it to sit flush. On top of this, they left my garage wall, window, floor outside and garden chair covered in plaster, the bedroom floor had dirty marks on, the beading was all scratched too as if it had been used before. I sent photos of this and spoke with Michelle about the complaint and the guys were sent back to rectify the issues. Once again, the attitude of the one who spoke with me was unpleasant. When I mentioned how previous reviews had commented on the clean, friendly and professional approach and the vastly different experience I had, he retorted, "We have hundreds of satisfied customers, clearly you are not one of them." Needless to say, I absolutely would not recommend this company.
