The company was started back in 1982 by proprietor Mike Christian who has been in the alarm industry just about all of his working life. A family business run by Mike and his son Stephen who together look after all of the surveys, installations and servicing side of the business, Mike's granddaughter Emma has also joined the team. Daughter Amanda and other granddaughter Laura look after office administration.
As a traditional family business we have been trading for over 40 years, fully insured and a member of the Which Trusted Traders Scheme.
Most of our customers are either referrals or repeat business, with a vast customer database of over 6000 customers we cover areas from right here on the Wirral to as far as Lancashire and even Anglesey in North Wales. Over the years the business has expanded and now provides a full range of security services including residential as well as commercial Intruder Alarm systems, CCTV , security lighting and door entry systems and full maintenance and repairs.

Old alarm had failed so needed a new one. Very fast turnaround, arrived on time for initial visit and gave us price there and then and explained the features etc. We were going away on holiday the following week and they managed to squeeze the installation in before we went which was very much appreciated. Quick and tidy installation and handover and ongoing support. Overall a very good experience, I would recommend this company to anybody looking for new security system at a sensible price.

I would not hesitate to recommend MCA. We have dealt with them since the 1980’s. When guttering leaked water into our alarm at 03.00 am at our previous house and we were unable to turn the noise off Mike Christian came out straight away and sorted it out for us! We have now had them replace the alarm installed at our new house and they have once again been totally great to deal with! Many thanks MCA!

Having had an alarm fitted by MCA years ago with a good, reliable service always being provided, we recently extended our property and didn't hesitate to ask them to quote for providing a new upgraded wireless system and opted for one that can be operated via your phone. This Stephen and Mike fitted, for the cost quoted, arriving on time, working promptly and, something that always makes a nice change, cleaning up after themselves. They are friendly, polite and you feel you can trust them around your home. Mandy, in the office, can always be contacted and was very helpful in finding an alternative date when we couldn't manage the original date programmed for installation. I wouldn't hesitate from recommending MCA to anyone.

Following an intruder accessing my garage, I called MCA straight away to see how my existing system could be upgraded, to give me greater protection and peace of mind. They were extremely helpful and organised a visit from Mike straight away. He talked me through a range of options and gave a very reasonable quote. They very kindly fitted the work into their schedule the same week, which I really appreciated. Both Mike and Stephen fitted the new system and the work was carried out to a very high standard. They are extremely knowledgeable and were very good at explaining the operating instructions to me. We have been with MCA for many years and recently decided to upgrade our alarm to a wireless system and have CCTV installed. We have had a maintenance contract with this company and this has given us the security of knowing that they will come out to fix the system should anything go wrong. I would add that we have been with the company for 23 years and have only needed to do this on two occasions. They are reliable and professional, giving us the peace of mind we need. The new installation took a day and a neat and tidy job was done to a high standard. We were given comprehensive guidance on how to use the system and they came back a few days later to help us with understanding the new system. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

We have used this company for the last 2 years to service our alarm system and they always arrive as agreed and do a good job. We have been customers of MCA Security Services for more than 37 years. We have always had an MCA alarm system. In that long period we have upgraded our alarm system several times: the latest upgrade was carried out on 5th March 2021 when a wireless/wifi system was installed by Mike and Steve. The equipment quality is excellent and it works just as well as all of the other systems we have had over the years. In all the time we have used the company we have always found everyone involved to be friendly, efficient and courteous. MCA is a long-term family business and it is clear that the same quality of service ethic is present right throughout the company. The Customer Service and Maintainance side of the company is also first rate and any queries are always handled with care. From the moment Mike (MCA) came round to provide an analysis and quotation, I felt confident in his expertise and integrity. The subsequent installation was everything I hoped for: efficient, neat, reasonably priced and informative. I was particularly grateful for the manner in which Mike and Stephen managed to fit us in just before Xmas, at what was clearly a busy time for them. I also appreciated the way in which they cleared up after the work was completed, even providing repairs to the walls caused by the original installation when the house was built. MCA supplied and installed an intruder alarm system for me. They arrived promptly on the agreed date both for the initial survey and to carry out the work at the agreed price. They were very friendly, fast and efficient, the system was installed within a couple of hours and they were very neat and tidy. They explained the system thoroughly and installed the app on our phones so that we can operate the alarm remotely. There was a slight problem with one of the sensors shortly after installation and this was replaced promptly after contacting the company. A prompt response to my initial enquiry was followed up by a visit from Mike to talk through requirements and provide a quote. On confirming the go-ahead we quickly agreed date and time to undertake the work - the team turned up on time and undertook the work in a very professional manner. Work has been completed on the agreed installation date professionally and effectively in a clean and tidy manner to our complete satisfaction with the minimum of inconvenience. My house has had an MCA alarm for 33 years with a major upgrade in 2001 following house extension work. The system has always been reliable. The few faults have been rapidly and efficiently rectified. Today MCA installed a replacement, more modern system, within 5 days of my accepting their estimate, and the new system was installed in about 3 hours. The work was done very professionally and neatly with no mess left behind.
