From initial contact to completed installation, I cannot praise Mark highly enough for his courtesy and consideration, meticulous attention to detail, explanations of the process and keeping to his original timetable. He took such care throughout to leave no trace of dust etc. He removed the old fitted wardrobe with very heavy and stiff doors with no damage whatsoever and proceeded to produce a perfect fit with the installation of the new wardrobe. From our initial meeting to discuss a fitted wardrobe installation Mark was courteous, professional, friendly and we happily progressed to an arranged start date. On the day he arrived on time, worked quickly, kept mess to a minimum and by the end of the day the work was almost finished. A slight change to the space layout requested by me was happily accommodated and the next morning after a couple of hours the transformation was complete. Mark installed a kitchen for us 7 years ago which turned our very dated kitchen into a sparking place you wanted to use and plenty of storage. We have recently moved and needed to install wardrobes in our (small with sloping ceiling) bedroom. We knew we would ask Mark to do this as his design skills would make the most of the space we had. Mark and his wife Ali were very helpful with suggestions. The wardrobes were fitted this week and we now have plenty of useful drawers and hanging rails. The bonus is that the design has made the room look larger. It has been lovely to have Mark in the house as well he is a charming and friendly personality and works hard to deliver the perfect job. Mark was very professional in his approach and was helpful in designing exactly what I wanted and needed for my bedroom. Mark was helpful from our first contact. He offered suggestions at our first consultation in our own home, when he brought plenty of samples to choose from. During installation, he was reliable, pleasant and polite, and very clean and tidy. His work was completed to a very high standard and we were delighted with the outcome. He had noticed a small blemish on one of the wardrobe doors so immediately ordered another one. He wouldn’t hear of us paying the balance of the cost until the job was completely done to his own very high standards. Great service and workmanship at a very reasonable price.

Mark has done an excellent job of fitting floor to ceiling wardrobes and cupboards in our main bedroom which needed to fit round the narrow chimney breast and round a corner spanning two sides of the bedroom. The finish is very professional and he has maximised the corner space with large L-shaped shelves which have a large capacity. The design includes double hanging for short clothes and longer hanging space for dresses, trousers and coats and I also asked for a narrow airing cupboard with fitted space heater which is very useful, plus shelving in front of the chimney breast. He arrived promptly and took the length of time he had advised. He was a very neat workman with very good attention to detail. He has fitted coving at the ceiling to match that around the bedroom and he cleaned after his work, both in the bedroom and on the drive where he set up his workbench. The floor to ceiling doors and the drawers to all the chests work very well and they have been in use for a month. All in all this was a very well executed job and I would not hesitate to recommend him to friends.

We wanted a local kitchen fitter and sourced Mark. From the outset his demeanour was professional, honest and helpful. He offered design ideas and recommendations on repositioning appliances and storage options making it a very personal design. We were able to see samples of the kitchen doors, fittings, splash backs , worktops and flooring which he reviewed before the final order. This was our second bedroom that Mark has transformed. By inviting him back, without requesting alternative quotes is a sure indicator of the confidence we have in the service that he provides. He removed the existing wardrobe doors, built new shelving in the alcove and installed new sliding doors. He always works carefully and the end result is excellent.

We had sliding wardrobes fitted last year with MHI and from the first visit to the planning and completion Mark was very professional, efficient and excellent workmanship and the materials are brilliant. He then gave us a quote and plan for some fitted units in our annexe/utility room to compliment the existing kitchen units already there. We had to wait 5 months as Mark is very popular and booked up, but it was well worth it, the end result we are more than delighted with. We would highly recommend MHI and Mark’s workmanship to anyone needing kitchen or bedroom units. You may have to wait but its well worth it!

The first thing to say about Mark is that he works on his own and generally is booked up 6 to 8 months in advance. He does very little if any advertising and relies on word of mouth and reviews from people who have had work done. If you live within his catchment area near Bexhill he must be your go to man. From first appointment to completed works everything has been of a very high professional standard. Drawings/work schedules/samples/quotes/invoices/cleanliness etc all first class. In addition for the quality of work undertaken and product installed the price was reasonable. If only we had more trades people like Mark.

Mark has done a fantastic job remodeling our kitchen. Brilliant work ethics, communication and excellent quality of finished product. Nothing that was asked of him was too much. A lovely friendly man who got on with the job and a great attention to detail. MHI Kitchens recently finished our stunning new kitchen within budget and time. From the design to the finished article was first class and attention to detail from Mark was outstanding. Cleanliness and punctuality were again first class, quality of units and appliances were fantastic. Mark was very polite and nothing was too much trouble for him. I would have no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending Mark at MHI Kitchens. Certainly worth the wait for him to fit my job in (which actually suited me perfectly). From the very outset, Mark took a lot of time to understand what I wanted from my new kitchen - his first visit took 2 hours whereas the other companies that quoted were in an out within 20 minutes. He came up with a creative solution to a space issue which meant I didn't have to compromise at all on the dream kitchen I hoped for. This involved creating a utility room in some otherwise dead space on my landing. Other companies' designs were herding me towards a fridge/freezer rather than a large separate ones and a washer/dryer rather than separate ones. Mark really went above and beyond to create a fantastic space - even so far as to re-route two sets of central heating and water pipes which had previously been surface mounted and boxed in. Mark clearly knows his stuff and was always on hand to deal with dozens of my queries and to provide me with responses based on his experience. It was great to have someone on board who does everything from original design through sourcing the materials to fitting it - the only other people were someone to sign off gas work, a plasterer and specialist measurer/fitters for the worktop & splashbacks. It gave me confidence that the design features would be brought to fruition. I have two stunning spaces and feel honoured that Mark chose my project to work on.

All planning and communication was done by e-mail during lockdown and that worked really well for me as Mark was punctual and replied fully to any queries I had. He worked in conjunction with an electrician I had wanted to do the electrics and all went smoothly. Mark is trustworthy, hard working and the quality of his work is excellent as are his communication skills. I would certainly recommend him.

Mark and Ali visited us early this year to discuss how we used our kitchen, what “look” we would like and what sort of price we had in mind. We talked about re-siting our appliances and radiator as well as creating a brighter space since it is an eaves room with small windows. The kitchen needed far more useable worktop and storage and we had our ideas which Mark added to, went away and designed into reality! He provided a quote and was clear about what was and wasn’t included, so there would be no surprises at the end! The quality of his workmanship is fabulous. He is a perfectionist and takes pride in the quality of his work. With the current social distancing guidelines we felt comfortable to go away during the week and leave him to get on with the job! He was extremely respectful of our neighbours and the communal spaces within the block and went out of his way not to inconvenience anyone. He completed the job well within schedule which was a surprise to many friends and neighbours who said kitchen works always overrun! We are delighted with the results and are happy to highly recommend MHI Kitchens and Bedrooms.

Mark installed a complete new kitchen including removal / disposal of the existing units and supply / install a new quartz worktop, cabinets, built-in appliances and Amtico floor. Mark made the planning stage simple and after adequate and helpful dialog swiftly produced a final scope and price. Everything about the installation was extremely professional all being completed on-time and to budget. The quality of his work combined with the quality of the cabinets and fittings he recommended has given us a fantastic kitchen. Mark does 99% of the work himself and was a pleasure to have around - every night always leaving everywhere clean and tidy. In summary cannot recommend Mark highly enough.

Mark totally refitted our bathroom, including new suite for bathroom and toilet, new shower, lighting, flooring, cupboards and tiling. He produced a superb finish with excellent attention to detail and a renewed bathroom of a quality and design that definitely exceeded our expectations. He had totally refitted our kitchen the year before, so we were delighted he was able to do a similarly excellent job on the bathroom.

I wanted someone to install a kitchen. Not just design it, plan it, supply it. But do the whole lot. Everywhere I went didn't actually do everything. MHI do, and have done my kitchen. Ceilings plastered, artex gone. Floors tiled (wood effect). Window ledges fixed. Walls made 100% perfect. Electrics done. Gas supplied. MHI are qualified to do most of this work themselves, and what they don't do (e.g. gas), someone was right there to do it. The whole 3 week project went exactly to plan. We got exactly what we expected and what we wanted. And not one of the large companies that advertise on TV could do this, they all said "ah well, you'll need to talk to the fitter about that and sort out a separate contract", etc. etc. MHI do the whole job to a standard 2nd to no-one. And it won't cost you any more either! I'm willing to show anyone my new kitchen.

Mark (MHI Kitchens) removed my old kitchen and planned and installed a new kitchen. In the process he insulated part of the ceiling, rewired and re-plumbed everything. The units and work surfaces were all bespoke. He helped me select all the fittings and necessary white goods. I cannot praise Mark too highly. He is an excellent and clear communicator and did exactly what he promised. He was reliable, efficient and kept me fully informed of what would happen and what was happening. Any difficulties he encountered were sensibly dealt with. He was polite and left the place immaculate, which in my experience is not always the case with building work. I consider that the cost of the work was very fair and if you want a top-class job at a fair price, I would have no hesitation in recommending MHI Kitchens.

Magnificent total kitchen replacement including new electrics, plumbing, all units, flooring, ceiling, inset spotlights, oven, hob, extractor, re-plastering, quartz worktops. Included the removal of all old units, tiling, flooring, ceiling and existing equipment. On the planning visit, Mark suggested a number of useful changes to our ideas that we hadn't thought of and advised on best placing of kitchen equipment. Valuable advice. He project managed the entire build which was trouble-free. Timely, tidy met the estimate. Exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended. Would definitely use MHI again.

I found Mark through Which Trusted Traders and what a find! Mark and I worked together on the design of my kitchen and he fully took on board my wishes and built a fabulous kitchen for me. He and his son Josh worked very hard and completed the work within the predicted time and, although the cost was more that originally estimated, that was because I made several changes along the way. Mark was very patient and accommodating and discussed everything with me at all stages. There was minimum disruption and mess and everything was cleared away at the end of the day. Mark and Josh were a delight to have working in my home, they were good with my dog, were completely trustworthy and I would thoroughly recommend them.

After hearing about lots of people having long drawn out work, increased costs, mess etc, we put our kitchen off for ages. Then we found MHI. Not only did Mark do a quality job, he turned up on time, was completely trustworthy and adored my dogs which was lovely. Friends said he would never manage the kitchen in two and a half weeks, as they had experienced long hold ups on their own kitchens installed by other companies. But he finished by the date given to us, which meant I was able to continue to work from the point I needed to. My kitchen is beautiful, the cupboards and worktops of exceptional quality and perfectly fitted. What I really liked about Mark was he did everything, electrics, the plumbing, fitting, tiling etc. It was nice not having loads of workmen in.

We had our kitchen completely refurbished. The whole job took several weeks and went close to plan. We are absolutely delighted at the outcome. A very good job.

We are definitely using him again for other wardrobes in our home. My only regret is we did not have him to fit our kitchen. We needed a new worktop, sink, cupboard and drainer to fit in with an existing kitchen making this a slightly complicated job. Mark was very helpful in discussing how this might be done to best fit with what we already had in the kitchen. The work was done very professionally and with great care and attention. We are extremely pleased with the result.

In our initial consultations with Mark we discussed what we wanted in general terms concerning a refurbished kitchen and bedroom. These were very productive and subsequently Mark produced a sets of drawings and plans. After further discussions, the designs and costings were agreed. Nothing appeared to be too much trouble and we found Mark very adaptable, friendly and helpful. His materials and workmanship were of exemplary quality and the work was completed on schedule.
