This job involved the complete re-plumb – heating and water – for a large 250-year-old home in East Lothian. Right from the off, Ross and Ali demonstrated a “can do” approach. Ali and Chris spent two weeks on site – along with all the other Montali tradesmen. There were plenty of unexpected challenges along the way – which required problem solving skills and determination to find – not just any answer – but the best answer. The team took real pride in their work. Ali and Chris worked really hard – and were a pleasure to have round the house. At the end of the job we are extremely happy – and would have no hesitation in recommending them. Outstanding.

This company fitted a new combi boiler 2 radiators and various other stuff. also fitted the new regulation smoke alarms. They arrived before 8 and worked till the job was completed. They tidied up and the rubbish was removed promptly. Very helpful and polite engineer. would highly recommend this company. Well done

Wow these guys did a marvelous job hit a big snag (lead pipes), right at the beginning of the job although they had to spend more time than anticipated, they produce a fantastic finish and I’m now as snug as a bug. Would recommend this company for going the extra mile

I am very glad that I chose this company. I wanted to be sure that my new boiler would be energy efficient (out of respect for the planet), and was impressed that Colin who came to give me an estimate, did not try to talk me into buying a bigger or more expensive boiler than needed for my flat while still emphasizing quality and reliability. Communication was prompt, clear and friendly. The young men who came to install the boiler were thoughtful and courteous, respecting Covid regulations, completing the job in a tidy and professional manner. Two days later Colin returned to check that all was well and to answer any questions. Invoice was for the exact amount of original estimate. I will gladly recommend Montali to friends. It was a pleasure to work with them.

Ross and the team were spot on. Very helpful during the estimate, arrived on time for installation, were very accommodating re any particular requests I had during the installation. Did a great job, literally left the place cleaner than it was when they arrived. Good bunch of lads as well, would recommend.

I recently had to have a boiler replaced. It's a busy time of year for failing boilers, but Montali communicated well and agreed to come by early in the morning so they could begin fitting the new boiler before I had to head to work. I left the job in their hands, and by the time I got home everything had been taken care of; new boiler was humming, old boiler had been cleared and mess had been taken care of. Wonderful.

Montali replaced my old boiler & installed new central heating, all in one day. They were easy to deal with, good quality work, tidied up afterwards. No complaints at all from me, I'm happy to recommend them.

We had 7 quotes from different new boiler installation services. Only Montali had a solution to the issue with our flue going through our roof. They arrived on time, done in one day, and left our kitchen tidier than when they arrived ! The boiler is working wonderfully !

Montali replaced an aged boiler as well as a number of radiators, all in a day. From arriving bang on time until they left, not before everything had been completed, tested and explained, they worked tirelessly. This is a very professional team of engaging guys who work together as a very effective unit. I don't praise lightly, but I have absolutely no hesitation in highly recommending Montali. Job involved replacement of our heating system and relocation of the boiler. - Strip out old Greenstar combi boiler and all old readiators and Install new system based on Worcester system boiler. Very responsive and easy to deal with from quote through to final installation - good customer service and competitive cost. Excellent team with up to six guys working on the installation. Very competent and clearly used to working together. Tidy work - removed all old equipment, packing materials and general junk, kept the work tidy during installation and good follow-up. Happy to recommend!!

Fitting a full central heating system in Edinburgh tenement. Job thoroughly discussed and helpful advice given before estimate . Flexible enough to change their original quote when we changed our specifications. Pre-commencement visit to check on all aspects of the work. Workmen prompt, all trades coordinated well and worked well together. Extremely hard working and took great care. Fastidiously tidy. Whole job done in a day. Have already recommended to someone else needing work done.

We needed a quick replacement for a condemned boiler as we were about to put our house on the market. Their surveyor fitted us in at the end of his day and we quickly had a competitive quote with the boiler installed 8 days later. The fitters arrived at the promised time and worked with a very positive attitude to solve a problem with the flue arrangement and completed the installation within the day. The job involved a good deal of drilling through masonry but the house was left clean with minimal dust. Later, a problem arose and was quickly addressed to our entire satisfaction. No invoice was sent until they were sure we were satisfied with the finished installation. I just wish we had discovered Montali before.

Job was done as part of Scottish Govt scheme. Terrific service from initial contact through planning to the installation. Everything worked well with a great team who were professional , friendly and good fun. Would have no hesitation in using again and in recommending them.

David gave us a straightforward advice and as the quote was very competitive we decided to go ahead with the work. It turned out that all of the pipework in the house needed replacing, but the team worked hard to ensure the job was completed within the 2 day timescale. 2 of the team even stayed until 7.30pm to finish the job on the second day, taking time to answer our questions and make sure that we knew how to operate the new system. David then arranged for a carpet fitter to attend on the following day to relay the carpets that had been lifted. Fantastic service from start to finish, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Montali helped me out in fitting a new boiler for an elderly friend of mine. They rearranged jobs to accommodate the job and turned up when they said they were going to. All in all a great service.

Great service from start to finish. David visited and gave us a price, no faffing about compared to the other quote I obtained. A date was set and job done within a day - all good and tidy. I required new boilers for two of my portfolio properties and invited tenders for all of the required work. Montali Energy Services were happy to liaise with both tenants and myself and were very helpful in establishing the amount of work required in each property. Their estimate for all the work was very detailed and competitive and I was happy to award the work to them. They did a superb job in both properties, the engineers arrived on time and worked without breaks during each day, calling in electricians and joiners as they were required. Both properties were left clean and tidy and both tenants are delighted with the results. There were a couple of minor problems but neither of these were the fault of the Company or their staff and were dealt with quickly and efficiently when they came to light, in one case averting a disaster as they found a leak in the existing pipework which could have flooded a neighbouring property. Well done to all at Montali I will happily use this Company again.

Montali proved to be an excellent company to deal with as communication could not have been easier in terms of getting a survey/quote and setting a date for the installation. I managed to get an approximate estimate from them based on a picture of the installation and it didn’t change once the survey had been done. The installation team did a first class job and I am very happy with the outcome. Their price was comparable with other estimates but being an approved installer they were able to provide a better warranty deal. They definitely deserve their status as a trusted trader.

In order to create more space in our kitchen, we considered changing our existing boiler and hot water tank for a combi boiler. We choose Montali because of the three companies who quoted, they were the ones who politely advised on the best installation to suit our requirements and were competitively priced. On the appointed day, a team of three arrived promptly at 8.0 am and started work immediately. Throughout the day they didn't stop except for the tea and coffee we were happy to supply them with, not even stopping for lunch. The standard of work was first class and they were always ready to answer any questions that we had. The work was completed in the one day as promised. On completion, we were shown how to run the new system in the most efficient way and they took us through the various controls. The hose was left tidy and clean and free from any of the old pipe work and water tanks. As it was a Friday and late, David came on Monday morning to check that everything was working correctly and that we were happy with the installation. I would have no hesitation in recommending Montali to anybody as they provided us with top quality service.

We had our old boiler replaced with a Worcester 25i ERP on 26/8/16 by this firm. They were one of 3 that we asked for a free estimate and their manager, David, was the only one to arrive on time, without needing a further call. He quickly provided the most detailed breakdown of costs and the most straightforward guide as to what was to be done. They completed the work within the day, as estimated, and charged exactly what they had estimated. They also did the annual service on our gas fire at the same time. Their engineer and apprentice were polite and hard working. Unlike some firms, Montali did not try to sell us replacements for the non-Worcester (but almost new) accessories that we already had like a magnetic filter and programmer. They even gave a one-year guarantee on the associated plumbing.

We had our old boiler replaced with a new Worcester boiler by Worcester Accredited Montali Energy Services, who were by far the most professional and thorough when quoting us a price from all the other companies. The work they carried out was also of the same high standard from their surveyor and quotation to their engineers who were professional, clean and tidy and polite. Their detail to customer service was also top drawer both David and Suzanne where always willing to answer any questions we had in relation to the new boiler installation and nothing was a problem. We would not hesitate to recommend Montali as they provided us with a first class service.

We were very pleased by their friendly and helpful approach and the itemised quotation that followed (and its reasonable price!) when we got in touch originally, and we were happy to employ them to fit our new boiler. At work, they were helpful and professional, even helping out with some minor things that we were doing while they were working on the boiler! We had some reservations about the electrical work, but they were quickly resolved a couple of days later with profuse apologies, so we've ended up very happy customers, and we'd strongly recommend Montali to others.

I have been ripped off too many times to count as an easy or relaxed customer, nor am I easy to please. The Montali operations manager, David Haig, dropped by to quote for a new system, and his estimate was extremely competitive. You get what you pay for, to some extent, so this was a concern, but I any worries were misplaced. What an amazing team - in one day they re-plumbed a rather large old house, tweaked some electrics, did a few bits of joinery, installed and commissioned an incredibly powerful combi boiler from Worcester/Bosch, tested all our gas appliances, and cleaned up. They were friendly, totally professional, and exceptionally competent. David dropped by several times to make sure things were progressing well and that we were happy. Genuinely superb, from start to finish, and a very good price too.

I contacted Montali for a quote for a new boiler. Their surveyor who came was polite and very professional. I received a quote which detailed all the parts, labour and extra tradesmen and was pleasantly surprised how reasonable it was. The job was done over a day and a half. Looked around for someone to fit a complete central heating system. Got a few quotes, some were very expensive and one failed to turn up. Looked on the Which site and found a local company Montali Energy Services. They came, did a survey which was more comprehensive than any of the other traders and gave me a price which appeared very fair and listed the costs of every single item including time. They started on time, with all the other trades arriving as planned and completed the job in a day and a half. There was some noise from the pipes initially and that was sorted the next day. All the tradesman were helpful, polite and nothing was a problem. I have no hesitation in recommending this company.
