Don replaced a shower valve and did a superb job. While I'm reasonably handy with a spanner, he resolved a number of problems that would have had me floored, he took his time and worked very carefully so as to ensure a perfect fit and to avoid damaging old, fragile tiles. Very diligent, and although the work was slightly more involved than expected, that was only because the old valve was very corroded and he remained at the agreed price. Cleaned up afterwards, very helpful and friendly. I have no hesitation in recommending this experienced, skilled plumber. A great find and I will definitely use him again.

Don was fantastic. He came round quickly and diagnosed the cause of the blockage in our kitchen sink and remedied it. He also fitted new taps in our bathroom basin. He was very friendly and efficient and I couldn't recommend him more.

Don couldn't attend my property to look at a problem with my hot water tank as he was busy with another job, but he spent quite a bit of time on the phone with me to help diagnose the problem, and was happy for me to call him back with more questions, and he did all of this for free.

We were experiencing an issue with the boiler pressure constantly dropping. Based on his locality and great reviews we called Don. After an assessment, Don confirmed that the boiler and radiators etc. were fine, therefore it had to be a leak somewhere in the under floor pipework and luckily this was quickly found. He listened to and answered all of our concerns and was open and fair on his pricing with nothing hidden. Don did an absolutely superb job of re-routing with new pipework. Such is his level of skill, the finished job resembled a work of art. Don was entirely professional and polite throughout. He stayed on to thoroughly check everything was working as it should and cleaned up properly when finished. An all-round great guy for sure. We are well pleased and have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Nathan Plumbing & Heating Services. Such a good find!

Don kindly came to look at my toilet, which was overfilling due to a failed fill valve. Replacement of the whole fitting (usually straightforward) looked extremely difficult due to location and that's why I called in an expert. Don spotted that the valve could be refurbished rather than replaced, and saved me a whole load of money on a major plumbing job with that diagnosis. In my experience not many plumbers are interested in small jobs like these, but Don was generous with his time and explained everything well. Highly recommended.

We had some unwanted washbasins removed. The work was done very efficiently and neatly. Don was friendly, helpful and well priced. We will definitely use him again when we need help with plumbing.

First rate tradesman. Skilled, polite and helpful. Charges honest prices. Left bathroom clean and tidy when job finished. Would recommend Don to anyone and everyone. I will certainly use him again.

I had a problem with a kitchen tap and found Don on Trusted Traders. I was concerned about using someone I didn't know, BUT he is definitely the jewel in the crown. Don is not only an excellent plumber but goes the extra mile to make sure everything was fitted and worked well. He cleaned up afterwards and I would highly highly recommend him to anyone that needs a plumbing job done by a 'reliable' plumber. Thanks Don - you will here from me again when we need the bathroom refitted.

I am so glad I stumbled across Don on this website (first time using Which). What I had was, in fact, quite a simple problem, but other builders and plumbers had over-complicated into one that required scaffolding, s.20 notice, a bureaucratic mess! And one that would cost almost £2000. When I spoke to Don on the phone, he really listened to me and diagnosed a MUCH simpler problem. I was amazed. He also advised me to speak to my local council to see if they could send someone for a site visit and approve the regulations before he came to do any work. I did just that, and spoke to a surveyor from Haringey Council who (without prompting) advised exactly the same thing as Don, that the waste pipe simply needed an air admittance valve fitted, rather than more invasive means i.e. going through the roof. Don came and did the job, even noticed another giant problem thanks to my previous (cowboy) builders, fixed it all - I don't even think it took an hour! The work was carried out about 10 days ago and I am so so happy to finally enjoy my bathroom without the foul stench of a historical fault with the sewage pipe, and the works carried out cost about 10% of the amount it would have done if I had gone with the previous (erroneous) advice given by others. As someone else wrote on here, so great to finally meet someone who understands their trade. Also a very nice guy who is very quick to respond on phone and messages. ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED, and I will always use Don in future!
