Nicolas Roofing and Building Maintenance is a small family run business that prides itself on its reputation.
We have been in the trade over 17 years and most our work comes from recommendations from previous customers.
You can trust us to be reliable, courteous and competitively priced, while always using the highest quality materials.
As a Which Trusted Trader I'm backed by trading standards and have a clear CRB check. We also have public liability, waste carriers licence and guarantee all our work.
We work on private and commercial properties and undertake all aspects of roofing and building maintenance.
i.e. New roofs, roof repairs, flat roof renewals and repairs, soffits, fascias and guttering, chimney works, lead, general building maintenance etc...
All our quotations are no obligation and free of charge.
We take photos of any work carried out before and after.

Nick came promptly to repair damaged guttering/downpipe on our new house. Despite inclement weather, he also cleared all the gutters for us. We have used Nicholas roofing at our previous house where Nick did extensive repair work to the roof. Very professional standard of workmanship. Nick is polite and very hard working. Highly recommended and I wouldn't hesitate to use again.

I have been in the building business all my working life starting as a carpenter working through to site agent on jobs a to a value of 10 million pounds so I know a good trader when I see one. Nick is an excellent roofer right from the point of looking at the job to give a price through to completion. He turned up when he said he would to look at the job gave his opinion on the best way of approaching the work and the best materials to use. He turned up to do the job when agreed. The work was made up of 3 flat roofs to be decked and felted and a complicated extension roof to be tiled etc. All his work was of a high standard completed on time including cleaning up after him self every day. He did all the work on his own working all day every day a very hard worker. We are very pleased with all his work and would have know problem using him again.

Nic has very recently completed a roof repair for us. It’s refreshing in this day and age to find a tradesman so personable and obviously committed to high quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. There were supply problems with tiles because of the lockdown but Nic worked tirelessly on the first day to ensure the roof was watertight in view of heavy rain forecast. He ensured we were kept informed throughout. After the main job was finished, he checked and replaced broken tiles elsewhere on the roof and took great trouble to clean and tidy up. Having seen the quality of his workmanship, Nic was approached for quotes by a number of neighbours.

Found Nic through Which? Trusted Traders, and no regrets! He did a very conscientious, neat and competent job of fitting new soffits, fascias and gutters. We are very pleased with the finished result, and the price was competitive, too. Even when working in the cold and rain, Nic was always polite and helpful, and kept us informed about his comings and goings. And when the job was complete, he tidied everything up very thoroughly. Can't imagine you would be disappointed if you get Nic on the case!

Mr. Dunn has built an absolutely great car port for me. He completed it in two days at a very reasonable price. It is th envy of our neighbours & family. Cannot thank him enough for his hard work & would recommend him to anyone.

Had our half of two chimneys repointed and repaired. Bricks were replaced with matching ones and it is clear that care and attention was given to the work. Nic cleared up and took away the resultant debris and cleared the guttering out. Overall a high quality, friendly and professional service. I'd be happy to recommend.

Nicholas did a very thorough job on re-felting the flat roof of our extension, replacing soffit boards, repairing gutter and painting the eves. He is very friendly and polite. He discussed the job before submitting his estimate and is very knowledgeable, experienced honest and trustworthy. We would have no hesitation in using him again.

Nic was very professional and reliable, he gave a very competitive quote to repair my chimney and did an excellent job. He took photos before and after and thoroughly explained what needed doing. He cleaned the gutters and swept the patio when finished. I would use Nic again and definitely recommend him.
