Communication from start to finish has been great. The website made it easy to select and order the charger. The installation went well, i’d say the cable run from the meter to the charger was challenging but the installers did a fantastic job, it all looks very neat. Great handover as well. Based on my experience, I have no reservations in recommending Octopus Energy to perform your installation 10 out of 10 I couldn’ t ask for more

We had an air source heat pump installed in June 2026. The quote, survey and installation all happened seamlessly and were supported by an amazing set of Octopus staff. Big thanks to the survey and installation teams in particular who were quick working, knowledgeable, helpful in answering questions, and generally a pleasure to have around. Huge thanks to Halle also who was an excellent sales team rep and made the process feel very easy from start to finish. This was an excellent service that I would recommend to anyone.

The Installer arrived on time and after keeping us up to date en route. He gave us advice and we agreed the cable route. The charger and cable and junction boxes etc were installed with care and in the correct place. All stages were tested, recorded and photographed for a top quality installation. We lost electricity for a minimal period of time. We were then supplied with full documentation and taken through the operation. The challenges presented by the nature of our residence were dealt with most effectively and efficiently . For example, there was a gate post in the way of the cable run but this was neatly altered to accommodate the cable run. The Installer cleaned up after the installation.

The initial survery for the heat pump was great we then had an asbestos survey whcich they paid for, by crditing me on my bill. There is a bit of a disjoin between the survey people then the initial team looking after me and then the install team. the admin team didn't really seem to know what was being offererd, for instance I was told that "we don't sell veretical radiators"... But the sales guy had specified 2 for me.... The install team are the real jewel in the crown they are the absolute best I have ever seen or had work at my house. Their knowledge and their work ethic is beyond compare and this is true of ALL field Octopus people from the Surfvery to the various engineers..Plumber..Electricians that I've had on my property. I love all of my new systems and thoroughly cannnot praise them highly enough

Octopus installed our EV charger today. The whole process from viewing their available chargers, placing the order to installation was very smooth, professional and backed up with very good communication at each step. Octopus provided the same level of service that they provide as our energy supplier. Highly recommended.

My experience with Octopus was excellent from start to finish. The communication throughout the process was seamless, with timely email reminders regarding the installation date. The highlight of the experience, however, was the engineer. He arrived early and was an absolute pleasure to deal with—his professionalism and expertise were immediately apparent. He took the time to explain the entire installation process in detail, outlining exactly how long it would take and what was involved. He was incredibly thorough in ensuring I was fully set up, guiding me through the creation of my 'shell' account so I could easily monitor and manage the EV charger settings. He didn't just install the hardware; he stayed to ensure the device was properly connected to my account and patiently walked me through all the features again to ensure I felt confident using it. The final installation is exceptionally neat and tidy, and he perfectly executed the placement exactly where I had requested. I couldn't have asked for a better service—his technical skill and customer-focused approach were outstanding. Thank you

I am a bit of a technophobe who bought an electric car not realising the amount of technology that went with it when it comes to charging. Octopus have been really helpful along this journey by answering all my problems as they arose during this process. I would recommend their customer service highly.

Engineer contacted me on the morning of the installation with his expected arrival time, which he kept to. He was very polite asking appropriate questions and finding where things were prior to starting the job. Work was carried out quicker than expected, with him clearing up after himself. Talked me through setting up the charger with my mobile phone and how the equipment worked, together with how to fix things that might be a problem in the future, while assuring me these were not frequent. Great job. Would recommend Octopus for EV charger installation.

I had a wall charger installed because I am about to begin a lease agreement for an EV from Octopus. The charger was included in the lease deal but as I have both solar power and battery storage I needed to upgrade the charger at a cost of about £250, which I was willing to pay as the wall charger stays with me after the lease deal expires. The wall charger was ordered on June 2nd, the required upgrade agreed on the 3rd of June. Delivery and installation of the wall charger was agreed for today (18th) about a week ago. Andrew arrived shortly before 09:00 and began the installation which took about 2.5 hrs including tidying up the work area and walking me through the process of setting up the relevant app and how to charge the vehicle when it arrives. I was very impressed from the word ‘go’ re. the speed and efficiency of everyone from Octopus. Full marks all round.

Excellent communication throughout, brought my install forward as I was able to pick up a cancellation. The installer was excellent, polite insightful, diligent. Clean and tidy work from somebody that appeared to love his job and the company that he worked for. Great advice on device positioning and going forward, on tariffs. Couldn’t fault it from end to end.

We had some initial issues after we decided to go with Octopus for our solar system which lead to some delays. However, once we were transferred to Eduardo everything moved smoothly. There were quite a lot of things involved in our installation, but they were all navigated round. Once the team arrived on site they were brilliant - friendly, informative and a pleasure to have around. They explained what they were doing and explained how the system worked once it was installed. On leaving the site everything was clean and tidy and back to how it was. The system is up and running and we're already spending days without any need to draw power from the grid. It's worth knowing that it can take some weeks before the Network lets you send out excess electricity so there will be a wait before you start making money selling your solar generated power.

Very professional and friendly installers. All packing rubbish was collected soon after the install.

Every member of the team that I communicated with was super friendly and supportive. The product and workmanship of the installer were faultless. Neat and tidy job. My one and only criticism was the lead time, from order date to installation took approximately 2.5 months. My car arrived a month ago. But the efficiency of the rest of the process was very good. It just took long.

I cannot thank Shaz enough for the amazing service he provided. He was extremely professional and approachable, and explained everything so I understood. He discovered a major issue with our home electrics that would have continued to have gone unnoticed that meant we could get it sorted and safe for our family and to get the charger installed and in use. He came out to finish the job only a few days after our electrician had finished which meant I could get charging at home. He is a credit to Octopus.

Right from the start the indication was that all would run smoothly with good warning of arrival time on the day . The installation was completed in the day with all of the cabling and equipment looking perfect. It did take longer than expected but the engineer remain unflustered throughout and spent additional time ensuring that my phone was linked to the installation before leaving.

Ordered on a Monday and was fitted on the Friday. Fantastic communication every step of the way, knowledgeable tech who asked me where I wanted it fitted and gave his opinion on most aesthetic for usability. Very happy with service and would highly recommend!

Installation went very well. The panels are producing energy as expected even when the weather was a let down! There were two issues for this whole process. The first was the delivery of the materials. For some reason (unknown) the delivery company refused to deliver the materials even though a neighbour and a signed notice from me were available for them to carry it out. This meant the installers couldn’t get on with their work as the materials didn’t arrive until 3.20pm on a Friday!! I would urge Octopus to ditch the company they used for that service! The second issue was eventually resolved amicably. A broken tile replaced with a wrong coloured tile (brown instead of black). All done and pleased with the installation. Now deciding best tariff for me. Generally kept well informed of the process.

I was recommended to switch to come to octopus by a friend after a very poor experience with another service provider. In contrast octopus was able to get my EV installation booked promptly, communicated surprisingly well and made everything so easy. On installation day I was well updated on arrival time by your Engineer, Chan. Location of charger discussed and agreed. I was told all about the installation, safety, and advised on the octopus intelligent go tariff. Chan fitted my new ohme home pro so smartly. All wires were tidy. Even the tether could be left looking tidy. My electrics and fuseboard was also left tidy. There was no mess. I am very pleased with the work done and professional service. 100%.

Having heard some horror stories about people’s experiences when having an EV charger installed I would be lying if I said I had no worries about having a charger fitted at our home. I needn’t have had any fears at all. The Octopus team made everything simple. Prior to fitting I completed a site survey that Octopus sent to us, and they actually looked at it, asked pertinent questions which meant that when the installer came out there were no problems. Fleur the Octopus smart tech specialist was very helpful. The fitter was great working quickly and efficiently in horrible weather conditions. Leaving the area clean and tidy with a nice neat install. He was clear and helpful with his explanation of the kit and its use.

As ever Octopus clearly communicated what they were selling, not pushy in any way and very thorough throughout. Communication, during pre and actual installation was excellent. Install was nest and tidy and everything was well explained to me. Can't fault them
