I rang Paul to ask if he would give me a quote for a few smallish jobs that had accumulated. He came the next day, by which point I’d added a couple more! This included two outside lights, one replacement and one new; an outdoor socket; some broken spotlights; faulty wiring in a socket; and some concealed lights in the kitchen that were broken. Paul fixed the kitchen lights immediately, (loose fittings, no charge). He then reviewed my existing wiring to work out simplest way to fit the outside lights and sockets, and advised me on the best types of light for each setting. He gave me a quote straight away, which was very reasonable. I managed to source my lights in one day; day two, Paul came and carried out all the work. He was on time, worked solidly and efficiently, and everything was completed in a few hours. At the end there was a bit of clearing up for me to do, but it was done in 10 minutes. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Paul, and will definitely call him for any small jobs in the future.

Paul Taylor did an excellent job in fitting a wall light outside our front door. After responding to our initial enquiry very quickly, he quoted for the job , advised on types of fittings, and completed the work to our satisfaction. Paul is clearly very experienced and knowledgable. He was punctual and efficient. We would certainly, without hesitation contact him again the next time we need an electrician.

I was very pleased to find such good reviews about Paul’s work, it really helped me choose a local electrician. I needed an outdoor ‘street’ lamp style head mending/replacing. Paul came when agreed and took away the old lamp head hoping that he could reinstate that one (it had green moss growing inside it). He came back about a week later with the existing one repaired and rewired, reinstalled it and it works brilliantly. I have waited a while to write this review and I am glad to say that everything is great a month on. Thanks Paul. Very reasonable, knowledgeable and friendly.

I had not used this company before, but had a couple of small jobs than needed doing so rang them this morning. Luckily Paul was able to fit me in after the job he was doing and was able to complete both jobs to my satisfaction. He was very polite and sorted my faulty light in the bathroom and fitted a new light fitting and then he disconnected my alarm system which had gone faulty overnight and I was worried about it going off, which I already knew was too old to be repaired. The price was as he quoted on the phone which was very reasonable and I would definitely use him in the future if I needed any further electrical work doing.

Requested Paul to undertake three items of work, install a new double socket in utility room, install lighting to loft space (LED strip plus switch & wiring), investigate non working double socket in kitchen. Paul is an excellent electrician, will diagnose and repair any existing problems, and produces good solutions to any new requirements you may have. He demonstrates a wealth of experience from the outset, this provides trust and you can be confident that your requirements will be delivered competently and safely. Quality of new installation work is excellent. He has all the equipment to test the safety and assurity of your electrical system. His approach is to minimise impact on your property. Cost is vfm. Wholly recommended. Spot on.

Paul was great, friendly service. Came out although it wasn't very convenient for him. Got the electrics up and running after some time spent fault finding.

Paul has done a couple of jobs for me now. He is really knowledgable, very friendly and so helpful when it comes to questions and advice on things. He removed an old pull cord from my second bedroom in preparation for plastering work and he did a great job in locating the wires in the loft which included pulling up some boards to get to it. He sealed it off in a box and did a great job in sorting it out. He also sorted out a fuse in my consumer unit for the most recent visit to ensure it had the correct rating for the lights. Very pleased with the work and the service. I will be using him again for any future jobs and I'm really happy to have found a good local electrician for when the need arises.

Contacted to get external PIR light fitting assessed as it wasn’t working. Contacted quickly and arranged visit for the following day. Worked through issues and managed to resolve the problem so the light is now working normally.

We are very impressed with Paul's work and would not hesitate to recommend him. I made contact with Paul by phone on 30th Jan to request a quote for numerous small jobs. After a brief prearranged visit the next day the job was priced up and we agreed that the work would be done in few days time. That evening after having a last minute cancellation Paul checked if it was convenient to do the work the next day instead. We agreed to this and Paul arrived at the agreed time. The job comprised fitting a new cloakroom light and 4 outside lights, replacing a dimmer switch, and 2 old light switches in the hall as well as shortening a ceiling pendent wire over a bunk bed. We also needed an electric socket moving to accommodate a new oven. Paul suggested a more creative solution than we had considered possible which was appreciated. The total cost was very reasonable, and the work was completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Paul came and looked at a the job for me and gave me the benefit of his advice on fitting a circuit for my new induction hob. He was courteous quick and proficient- exactly as you would want from a good trader. He worked to my schedule and gave me a clear price for the job and stuck to it. Paul arrived on time on the day of install and completed all the work in half a day. I have no hesitation in recommending him as a good Electrician, to have do a job such as fitting a new circuit for hob as he has done here in my home.

Paul moved a light switch and installed some additional plug sockets. After a quick visit to look at the job, he was able to come within a few days to complete the work. Paul was reliable and the work was done to a very good standard, and he left our room clean and tidy afterwards. Would highly recommend.

We had a number of small electrical jobs and we were very impressed with how Paul dealt with them. He replaced a faulty kitchen light, put a new LED light in our garage and gave us good advice on how to sort out a problem with lighting in a bathroom cabinet. He also checked out an extraction fan in our bathroom and gave us a number of options. He dealt with the issues very efficiently and for a reasonable cost and I would have no hesitation in recommending Paul for any electrical jobs.

Paul undertook various bits of electrical work around our house, including installation of waterproof external sockets. He was professional and helpful at all times and the work was done to a high standard, within the quoted figures, and on time. Paul replaced my old fluorescent light fixture with a new LED. Job was a bit fiddly due to the LED that I had bought but he managed to be creative and get it fitted. I'm very pleased with the result and how much it cost. I'm hoping to use Paul again in the future.

Paul came round very promptly to assess what needed doing. He was friendly and courteous. He acquired the relevant unit to replace the broken panel and returned the next day. I contacted Paul on the Monday about changes we needed to make to some of our plug sockets and a light switch (moving one, putting a one in, removing one and replacing others). He came out on the Tuesday afternoon to quote and did the work on the Thursday. Really happy with the work, price was very reasonable. Paul was professional and friendly and the rooms were left tidy when he had finished. Would definitely recommend him and would use him again.

I phoned Paul on Monday 8th March about a non-functioning doorbell and faulty strip light. He diagnosed the doorbell problem on the phone and came around on Wednesday and fixed the strip light very quickly. There was no pre-agreed price but the charge for call-out was very reasonable and I would certainly contact Paul again for any future electrical problems.

Phoned Paul 5/2/21 came the same day to look the job, came the day after to carry out the work had 5/6 little jobs in all, happy with work carried out and price given. Would have no hesitation in using Paul again, reliability is priceless.

Shower Pull Cord Isolator Switch. Contacted Paul on the Friday. He offered to come on Monday which was inconvenient for me, so he said he would come the following day (Saturday). Arrived first thing and carried out the work seamlessly, observing all Covid precautions. Reasonable cost, as quoted over the phone. Will certainly use again.

Paul installed a new light fitting in my kitchen. I contacted him and the job was completed the same day. A pleasant, tidy worker who observed all the necessary Covid safety guidelines. Reasonable price charged . Happy to recommend him.

Paul repaired a line of three spotlights in our kitchen which were no longer working. He identified the issue, popped out swiftly for the necessary parts and completed the work in a straightforward and effective way. He also kindly cut back some redundant wires in our basement room and advised on another piece of work we were considering. He came when he said he would, calling in advance to confirm. Clear communicator. No hesitation in recommending him.

I rang Paul on Monday the 23rd and explained the issue to him. He said he would pick the replacement switch up on Tuesday but couldn’t do the work until Weds, However, to my surprise he called me Tuesday afternoon to say he would be able to do the work later that day. Paul was a friendly chap and completed the work to my satisfaction within an hour. His price for doing the work was very reasonable and I was very impressed by how quickly he was able to come and fix the switch.

Paul popped around same day after my ovens failed. I was at a loss to know what to do and Paul simply went through the motions of checking fuses, connections etc. He methodically went through everything tightening what he considered loose connections and presto all was good. He's a pleasant friendly chap and charges a fair price. Next time I have a 'proper' job he's the man I will call.

Paul fitted us a new cooker point and oven because our existing wiring did not meet regulations and was not suitable for the new oven we had purchased. The work was done on the day agreed and we were charged the price quoted which was reasonable for the amount of work required. Paul was efficient and tidy and he communicated with us about what the job entailed. After a nightmare experience trying to find an electrician to do the job we were so glad when we found Paul and would not hesitate to use him again!

I needed a new bell push and light in my newly-decorated porch. Sometimes it's hard to find someone who wants to do small jobs but Paul came promptly and carried out the work very neatly. His advice on the type of light fitting I required also saved me money. Very pleased.

Paul fitted 6 spotlights and 3 over table lights in my dining room, along with a few other bits and pieces of electrical work such as moving plug sockets. Paul was efficient, tidy and was good at communicating on what he was going to do. He also provided good advice on eg. How many spotlights I needed, what would work and what wouldn’t etc. Very reasonably priced - would recommend!

Paul came to install a new consumer unit and sort out some other problems. He gave me a fair very price and completed all the work in under a day. I cannot speak highly enough of Paul. I phoned him regarding a faulty ring main in our house and he was round an hour later. He professionally eliminated all the plug sockets and wiring until he found the problem and fixed it. He was very reasonably priced and would highly recommend for a really nice guy doing a excellent job.

Paul changed our light fittings, sockets and light switches and they look great. The price was v reasonable and he worked away without any issue. We communicated over the phone and text messages and we got it done on a Saturday as it wasn’t feasible for us during the week. We would use Paul again for future work.
