I contacted PDL after another contractor had let me down. The difference was amazing. I wanted my traditional heating system changed to a combi system. Paul came around to survey the site and discuss my options. He was very helpful, explained matters fully and gave me some idea of when work could be done. I received a fully itemised quote which is quite a rarity these days. I was happy to proceed with the quote which was reasonable for the work involved The job was booked in and a start date was agreed. I was told that Robert would arrive on site around 8 am. That is exactly what he did. All the work was completed within the agreed-upon frame with minimal disruption. I am very satisfied with the work. The whole process was seamless, efficient and well-organised. There was a minor issue after the work was done but this was very quickly resolved. Also, Paul came back to take me through the boiler controls when I did not grasp them the first time around. I am most impressed by PDL and I will be using them again. I highly recommend PDL. After servicing our boiler (installed by another company) for a number of years, it finally broke during a cold snap. Paul responded promptly to the call out, clearly outlining our options and providing us with a very reasonable quote for a new one. He pulled out all the stops to get us the new boiler installed a few days later, on time and within budget. We’re very pleased with it. A friend recommended PDL Heating to me, and I couldn't be happier with the work they have undertaken. In our first meeting, they very clearly outlined several options for us, there was no "hard sell", but their advice & guidance was extremely welcome. I was extremely impressed with their approach - every time they said they would do something, they did it, on time, and in budget. They replaced a boiler, and installed 12 new radiators - their quote was very reasonable, and the final figure we paid, was exactly what we had agreed. As our installation was scheduled to last 4 days, and we would have been without heating / hot water for the duration, we elected to go away for a few days, and we had no hesitation whatsoever in trusting Paul with the keys to our house. Paul and Robert provided an extremely professional and efficient service, arriving on time, removing the old boiler and replacing with a new unit. Clearly, they have done this many times before and it shows by their method of approach and sequencing of removing unwanted items, in a controlled fashion. No hidden extras in the final bill. All questions were answered in a clear and concise way during the day with a clear explanation of the unit's control system.

I had been recommended this company by my Uncle and a neighbour. The chaps were very professional and thorough, great at explaining the process and talked me through the thermostat instructions. PDL Heating and Plumbing were outstanding. They came to view the job when they said, explained all my options, and quoted quickly. Again, they came to do the job exactly when they said and completed it within timescale indicated. The quality of their work and their cleanliness has been excellent. My boiler and HW cylinder upgrade has achieved what was promised. All in all, they have been an exceptionally professional team and I cannot praise them high enough, so I have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

Paul and Robert were superb. The new Vaillant Eco combi-boiler was installed along with eleven new radiators and TRVs with meticulous attention to detail. The whole system was power flushed and then set up and balanced to ensure we have a home that is not only warm but running as economically as possible. This followed on from an earlier Vaillant combi boiler installation they completed for my daughter in Cheshire. The house and hot water have never been as efficient. Both systems have a ten year warranty and an annual maintenance contract that is outstanding value for money. I cannot recommend Paul and PDL Heating and Plumbing Ltd highly enough. Paul and Robert replaced our old 20 yrs old boiler with a new combi boiler with weather compensating thermostat. Paul explained all the aspects of the job and advised us regarding boiler types and smart controls. All work was carried out as discussed to the highest standard and we are 100% happy with the results. Excellent workmanship, great communication and very courteous.

Initial contact made through the Vaillant website, resulted in prompt contact directly from Paul at PDL. A survey visit was arranged and the various considerations were discussed and fully explained - for us, this was a key factor in deciding to go ahead with the resultant quotation. This visit was handled very professionally and Paul demonstrated excellent product knowledge and a very balanced approach to advising options for the replacement boiler. The work was carried out on the date agreed and to the price agreed. Paul and his colleague fitted the new boiler and control system with a high degree of care and thoroughness, installing new components, flushing the system and making good where necessary. In all, a very impressive level of service from the customer perspective. We are delighted with the outcome and feel confident in recommending PDL Heating without reservation.

I needed a replacement boiler and contacted PDL since they had been recommended by a family member. Paul was very knowledgeable and explained the various options when he came to provide the estimate, which he sent through on the same afternoon. They (Paul and Robert) have done a thoroughly professional job of installing the new boiler (and shower!). They worked constantly throughout the two days that it took. I was kept informed as to progress throughout. They took care to minimise the amount of disruption and protected the carpets etc. from damage. After installation, Paul explained clearly how to operate the system and to use the Vaillant vSMART app. I am very pleased with the result and would not hesitate to recommend PDL.

A new replacement Gas CH and hot water boiler installation, the initial visit was extremely helpful and the quotation was clearly explained, the work was completed on time and to budget, everything was very professional and to an extremely high standard. PDL Heating had recently installed a new Gas CH boiler for my son who spoke very highly of them. An excellent choice from a very satisfied customer.

Approached PDL for power flush and advice on underfloor heating as they advertised in a local magazine and are a Which Trusted Trader with really good customer feedback Paul the owner, provided sound factual advice, that we needed a new boiler for UFH and provided his quote within days. We didn’t feel pressurised at all and Paul answered all our questions, during the process. We just got a really good feeling that Paul knew his stuff and we decided to invest in the Valiant boiler & UFH system he proposed. Paul and Robert installed the new system, the Vaillant was installed on another wall, so a new hole had to be cut through the Yorkshire stone wall and Robert’s pipework was excellent, looks like a piece of artwork, and he was very, very particular. They also removed a couple of old radiators, installed a new rad, replaced the Hive TRVS with Danfoss and power flushed through all system until the water became clear, and we couldn’t be happier. It’s worked a treat, our heating is now balanced and quick to warm up the house. The shower seems to be more powerful and water is definitely hotter, in so much that we have had to turn the shower temperature down. In all our experience, installing central heating in 4 houses, PDL is the best heating company we have used. Therefore, out of the companies we looked at we are really pleased that we choose PDL and will be going back to them for replacing other radiators before winter.

Absolutely fantastic service from PDL Heating, Paul and Robert came and fitted a brand new Vaillant boiler with 10-year warranty to replace our old broken one. The entire experience from quotation through to installation was really straightforward and done with excellent professionalism and we were kept well informed throughout. The quality of the install is excellent, and Paul's knowledge and recommendation of a power flush was a great choice - no more gurgles from the radiators! We will absolutely be using PDL heating for the servicing of our new boiler and would recommend them highly.

When we decided that we needed a new boiler we phoned Paul from PDL and he came out promptly and did a site survey. We had already decided on the make of the boiler that we wanted. He agreed with our chosen manufacturer and explained the capacity and type of boiler that would be appropriate for our home. He had a thorough knowledge of the product and he inspired us with the confidence to proceed. Paul emailed us an estimate the very same day, which we were happy to accept. In less than two weeks our new boiler was installed by Paul and his team. It took a day to install. Paul and his team were considerate and all was clean and tidy when they left. Our new boiler has now been in situ for three weeks and is working well. We would be happy to recommend PDL to anyone that requires a new heating system.

Paul and his colleague removed our old tank and boiler and replaced with a combi boiler. The work was carried out very efficiently and professionally and they were obviously extremely knowledgeable. They were both very focussed on the work in hand, polite and brought coverings for all floors. Buying a new boiler isn’t my most favourite thing but they made it as painless as possible! I would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone.

Paul installed a new Vaillant combo boiler for us, replacing the old central heating boiler and immersion heater/tank system that was in place. It meant a lot of changes to the pipe work, both in the kitchen and bathroom and everything was carried out neatly and efficiently. Some of the existing pipe work was found to be lead (Victorian house) and Paul replaced it with almost no extra cost. The gas pipes were a bit of a mess due to previous work being done badly and Paul removed all the extraneous pipes and put in new for the gas job due to be installed. Everything was left tidy and the new boiler was explained to us clearly. I can’t speak highly enough of PDL, I won’t hesitate to recommend them.

Paul (PDL Heating) was recommended to me by a friend. I took up his Central Heating Care Plan to look after our Vaillant based central heating system. Recently, our 11 year old Vaillant boiler , despite being serviced from new regularly as required by Vaillant, started giving us trouble. Paul recommended that we replace the boiler and convert the system from an open to a closed vent combi based Vaillant boiler. As we did not want to have any problems this winter I asked him for a quote which he provided promptly. Since Paul comes across as a very trustworthy person and he told me he gave us a fair price for the work, I did not seek other quotes and asked him to proceed. From my first enquiry with Paul to completion and commissioning of the new boiler everything went smoothly. His explanation of what would be needed to upgrade my antiquated (50 year old) water heater to a shiny new combi boiler, and pipe work modifications, was thorough and clear. He followed up quickly with a detailed quotation and was able to undertake the work quickly and to budget despite the obvious difficulties for everyone with the COVID-19 pandemic. He and his colleague arrived bang on time each morning and worked quietly and unobtrusively. On completion I was given a helpful walk-through of the new system and controls. All old items no longer needed (hot water cylinder, zone valve, circulating pump, water heater, piping etc) were taken away. It’s now a month after completion and I’m happy to say everything is working fine and gas consumption is improved!

Paul and his colleague installed a new combi-boiler, replacing an old Rayburn. The job needed to be delayed a couple of times due to the lockdown restrictions but this was all handled very well. I am very happy with job done and was kept informed throughout the installation. Everything up and running great and will look to use Paul again for any further central heating jobs I have.

Paul did a first class job, from the first visit, to turning up on time to carry out a neat, tidy install, all rubbish and obsolete material taken away, installation when agreed and to quote. On commissioning the system everything was clearly explained once I'd downloaded and synced a Vaillant app to the new boiler. I know installing a new boiler is quite a rare event so using tradesman of the quality of Paul and his colleague has given me great peace of mind that a proper job has been done.
