I engaged Plumbing Wise for boiler maintenance for two seasons and a few smaller jobs. Being reliable and efficient they were the natural choice to provide and install our new Vaillant boiler. Plumbing Wise came to look at a problem with the hot water in an old house. They came up with options (no hard sell) and I went for a new boiler. They are always mindful of the upheaval of work and seem to find miracle ways of avoiding ripping out kitchen or bathroom fittings when re-piping. They communicate well, provide honest and detailed quotes and did the work on time, at cost quoted (even dealing some issues along the way and not charging more). And they clean up thoroughly afterwards. Both Andy and Pete are personable, honest and utterly professional. I have used them a few times and highly recommend them. I am happy to leave them alone in the property without any worries.

I called plumb wise for 3 x new electric boilers around 3 weeks ago and was asked go send through floor plans and photos of the existing systems. my email was completely ignored and I've sent follow up emails and messages and I still haven't got any reply 2 weeks later worst customer service I have ever experienced I do not recommend using this company

Starting with their questionnaire, which was quite thorough, the whole process ran quite smoothly for the replacement of my boiler. Pete talked me through the various options, and also called the boiler store in order to confirm a change of make. As others have stated, the work was carried out by Pete, Andy, and Ashley (for the electricals). They seem to be a decent bunch with some good banter thrown in for free! They remained quite professional and respectful throughout. The general impression that I got was of people who really knew what they were doing. I am happy to recommend them and will be using them again.

I would like to recommend Plumbing Wise company for their excellent work from the beginning to the end. I was pleased to receive a detailed quote and all needed information ahead of works. New electric boiler and hot water cylinder were installed efficiently and professionally in our London flat. Modified pipework was neatly arranged, and electrical works very well executed. Engineers were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful to explain the new system. Works were well coordinated and completed on time. Afterwards, the company was quick to respond and return to replace a new part that happened to be faulty. I have been very pleased with works, grateful, and would not hesitate to use Plumbing Wise again.

Peter, Andy and their electrician Ashley came to remove our useless Nibe Heat pump and replace it with an EHC 9kw electric boiler and hot water cylinder. The heat pump was massive and a total nightmare to remove but Peter and Andy did not complain at all and made it look easy despite it being a super heavy unit. The quality of the workmanship is fantastic and for the first time since moving into our flat 4 years ago, it is actually warm in the winter. We will be using these guys again to service the boiler and for any other plumbing job that we need done around the house as they did an excellent job on this and they were both really nice guys as was Ashley the electrician. I genuinely can't recommend these guys enough and will be passing their details on to any mates that ask.

It's been nearly a year and a half since Plumbing Wise installed a new boiler, pipework, plumbing, radiators and the required electrics in my flat. The system has been running flawlessly ever since - and the clean, efficient ways of working that their team displayed have definitely set a standard. The actual work took three days during which the team worked quickly and diligently, arriving on time, collaborating well with another builder who was onsite at the time and cleaning up after themselves on each working day. Having suffered much misery trying to get a boiler replacement, I stumbled upon Plumbing Wise. They happened to have an agent in my area and he came to us within a couple of hours. He suggested a solution where we had lost hope. He gave us a quote that had us rub our eyes in disbelief for its reasonableness and installed our boiler within two days. He was friendly, professional and thorough all the way. I couldn't recommend Plumbing Wise more strongly. Forget all others. These guys are the real deal.

Thanks to Andy & Pete for the great work they did replacing the 30+ year old boiler we inherited when we moved house. We were recommend Plumbing Wise by our neighbour when trying to find our lost (now found) cat & we have her to thank for finding the firm! Many thanks to Plumbingwise for being professional and considerate at the same time. They worked quickly in a difficult home context, agreeing to limit the impact of their work to the minimum, due to the resident being in palliative care at home. They were polite, punctual, respectful and willing to explain their methods and the plumbing system to me carefully. The costs were explained clearly in the original quote and extras were also quoted separately. The final bill was also good value for money, compared with previous quotes from other companies. Due to the minimum impact approach, we had no problems during the installation, although we had expected that this would be a very difficult situation during the two days of work. Well done for being punctual, polite, considerate and respectful in a difficult situation and many thanks for your excellent work!

We had been without heating and hot water for 8 days, the service we had paid for with a well-known company did not happen. Contacted Pete who came, gave us some recommendations, sent a quote which was very competitive and we agreed it and the work has been performed (all within 5 days, very efficient) to a high quality by friendly knowledgeable people. The work removed a hot water tank, header tank, and old boiler and replace it with a combination boiler and rework the services and new timer and room thermostat. The warranty, working of the system was all explained, very professional in all aspects of their work. I have no problem recommending them and will be using them for servicing and any other plumbing work I might require.

Plumbing Wise Ltd fitted both my mother-in-law's and my sister's heating system and it was without hesitation that I asked them to fit our new boiler. Our original Vaillant had seen us through 24 winters and it was time for it to visit the great big boiler farm in the sky. Pete surveyed our home one afternoon, gave us his expert recommendation and put together a detailed estimate by the evening. Price was very competitive and the swap over happened within a week. Andy and Pete expertly (and tidily) fitted the new boiler and Hive thermostat without a hitch or any fuss and we couldn't be happier with the whole procedure and the result. I am currently undertaking an extension and Plumbing Wise carried out the boiler/radiator works. Plumbing Wise came to site and acted professionally, ensuring that the installation went smoothly and without a hitch. They stripped out the existing pipe work to the old boiler and completely redid it. The standard surpassed what I was expecting and it was a shame that it will be hidden behind the new kitchen cabinets. Finally, when they finished the installation, they ran through the warranty and operation of the new boiler leaving me fully upto speed on maintenance and operation. Based on my experience, I would have no issue recommending their services.

Peter of Plumbing Wise installed my original Vaillant boiler a couple of years ago, including a Nest wireless thermostat. This setup works really well, and responds to the weather forecasts bringing the heating on earlier on cold days and allowing me to set minimum temperatures. I asked Plumbing Wise recently to quote for putting my loft extension on a separate circuit with it's own Nest thermostat. The quote was received promptly and the work completed in half a day, including a few other tasks. I now have a system which gives me a lot more control and allows me to be more selective over heating, which will improve both economy and comfort levels. A very neat job, efficiently done, well worth the money.

We had contacted several other companies previously most of whom wouldn't even quote for the job due to the complications. Peter saw past the problems and spent time trying to come up with a workable solution that fitted our needs, this really impressed us and convinced us that they were the right company to go with. Plumbing Wise and their recommended electrician replaced an old gas boiler in a small City of London flat with an electric one, and replaced all associated pipework and hot water tank. Their price was very reasonable compared with another quote, and they appear to have done a superb job. Our tenant is very pleased, particularly as they fixed two taps and changed some tricky light bulbs free of charge while there! I was particularly impressed by how they encouraged me to change my mind on where some trunking should go - their idea was much better. They inspired confidence from the very first phonecall, through the quotation process, the provision of insurance information and evidence of qualifications, and carrying out the work promptly and not over-running. They were also very considerate and tidy when in the flat. I will definitely use them again.

We had an electric boiler fitted by Plumbing Wise about 2 years ago (to replace a gas boiler - we're in a listed building so the gas flue was troublesome). From our initial contact, they were extremely helpful and organised. They dealt with the whole process, including bringing in an (excellent) electrician. They did a clean and tidy job too. We're really happy with our electric boiler - it's totally quiet and has been completely reliable. It's a bit more expensive to run than our previous gas boiler but we also make savings from not needing a gas servicing contract. I would definitely recommend Plumbing Wise and would use them again.

A great job by the team. Knowledgeable in advising (due to my circumstance I changed from gas to electric). Talked about the pros and cons (Combi vs Boiler). Gave a balanced view and then let me make the decision. Efficient - Called the office in the afternoon, they responded with a slot the next morning to look at the job. We received a verbal quote within 4 hrs, with a full written quote by the end of the day. Work started 2 business days later. Timely - Arrived when they said they would. I am extremely satisfied with my new electric boiler. This was the perfect solution to keep the existing radiators and pipes, but without the need for a new unsightly external gas pipe or flue, as the original gas boiler had to be moved. The new hot water system also means that the cold-water tank has been removed. They fitted all the new equipment in the old airing cupboard; it looks great. Plumbing Wise worked really hard and changed the whole system extremely quickly. They explained the new system clearly and in detail.

I contacted Plumbing Wise when I had problems with my heating - we had cold spots on the radiators and noisy pipes.
