Left message on answerphone 8:05 - boiler not working. Phone call back at 9:02 acknowledging this & will get back to me later. Phoned to say engineer would come at 12:00. Dave turned up: was his usual polite & smiling self. Diagnosed the problem pump ceased operating. Repaired it & got it working in a few minutes. Temporary solution. Will order a replacement & get them to fix it.

Fix leak on toilet waste pipe. Initially by resealing with silicone but already suggested alternate solutions if leak persisted. Notes added to job number to allow spare part to be quick/being ordered. Constructive and helpful discussion to avoid any further issues.
