Since day one of ownership my car, an elderly Jaguar, has suffered from multiple intermittent electrical problems. Over the last few months all the seemingly unconnected issues have become more frequent and serious which made the car almost unusable and certainly unsellable. These included failure of the central locking, windows, heated screens, fuel pump, parking brake and instruments. All these had been looked at in isolation by other establishments without success. It had reached a point where the most likely outcome was a one way trip to the scrapyard. Luckily for me one of Pressbay's top technicians decided that he just wasn't going to be beaten by my car's problems and found a corroded earthing point hidden away under the carpet. Car fixed. I was told by another garage my Air-con was leaking or Faulty. So for second opinion i took to PM they tested everything and all it needed was to put more gas. They could have said its faulty and charged me ££££ but they were honest and very professional. and it only cost me £60. :)

I started going to Pressbays 6 months ago after a garage that I had been using for many years let me down badly. From the first point of contact with Pressbays I was treated with courtesy and respect. All the staff at Pressbays are very polite, helpful, honest, reliable and extremely knowledgeable. They take the time to explain what work has to be carried out and they do so in a way that even I, a female without any mechanical knowledge whatsoever, can easily understand. I trust Pressbays implicitly and I value their judgement because I know from personal experience that they would not carry out any work that wasn't necessary. All the work is carried out in a timely manner and everything is itemised on the invoice. The prework estimates are so accurate that there are no hidden surprises when it comes to paying the bill. My van is crucial to my livelihood and it is so important to know that I have a reliable garage to support my needs whether it is for a routine service, MOT or a total engine refit. I have been using this garage for over a year now, and I must say that the service is far superior to any other garage I've used before.
