We felt we were dealing with highly skilled professionals throughout. Communication was also excellent. Our boiler had failed its routine service. It was at least 15 years old, so we were philosophical about replacing it. After establishing our attitude to quality, the team recommended a product suitable for our household size. Installation was on a date agreed and done efficiently. A second visit was booked in to fit thermostatic valves to the old radiators. Ours is an old house and various problems arose during the visits. All were resolved calmly. We are very pleased with the outcomes. Administration was also efficient and pricing was transparent.

The task started out as a boiler service, however Jason soon discovered a few problem areas which resulted in the need to vent the system, repair air ingress issues, install a new valve and actuator and a boiler control module. Sadly whilst this solved the majority of the problems we are currently waiting for the gas meter to be checked by Scottish Power, if this solves the outstanding problems ProGas have promised to return to complete the original problem. ProGas operatives are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and very easy to deal with. Jason explained the situation every step of the way. The invoice they have submitted is very reasonable and I would have no hesitation in using them again and recommending them to others

I wanted a more efficient boiler system than that was in my home, I looked for a locally run firm and came across ProGas. I contacted them and they quickly responded, and arranged a time to come out to estimate for the works required. I received a detailed estimate, and they included various payment options which I thought was a good idea. Having accepted the estimate we arranged an installation date, they sent both a text & email the day prior to first date of installation detailing the name of the engineer and time of arrival. The two engineers arrived on time each day, they worked very efficiently and left my home clean each day. They ensured the system was fully operational before leaving, completed the registration of the system and warranty, and went through how both the boiler and thermostat control worked. I would definitely recommend ProGas to anyone wanting work done.

I found ProGas to be very professional and efficient. They were quick to come out to review the work required and to provide a quote. The quotation was reasonable and a start date was agreed. The engineer arrived on time; was respectful and gave confidence that he knew what he was doing. The work was completed most efficiently. Time was also given to explain how to operate the new system. All work carried out is under guarantee. There was no pressure with regard to payment. An invoice was received a few days after completion of the work. I would definitely recommend ProGas to anyone needing this kind of service.

I’ve had a boiler and fire service and both were done to my satisfaction. The engineer was on time, professional, polite and knowledgeable. He wore a mask and covered his shoes and provided covers, so area was left clean. I had a pigeon stuck behind my fire, which meant that was more urgent and Progas accommodated my request really quickly. Great local business with review ratings that I believe are a true reflection on the service., quality and value. Thank you

ProGas came recommended via the NextDoor app from at least five local people. They came and replaced the boiler, pipework, flue, and did a powerflush. From the moment a ProGas engineer steps into your home you know they are professional and you feel assured that they will do an excellent job. The engineer wore a mask (Covid), covered his feet and lay covers throughout to protect the carpets and brought all the equipment and items needed for the job. He answered all out questions and carried out work efficiently and cleanly (even vacuuming the boiler cupboard once he had finish the work). I thoroughly recommend this company. We have seen different engineers from ProGas overtime and each works to the same high standards. Now we've found them, we will not be using another company again, it's only ProGas for us. Thank you.

Spoke to Faye to arrange a gas boiler and fire service. We booked a time and date and were told Jason would be our engineer. We received a reminder email two days before the appointment. On the day Jason phoned us to say he would be with us in ten minutes. The service’s we’re carried out to a high standard. Jason was clean and tidy and also answered all of our questions.

To try to assist my daughter, I fitted a Hive to control the hot water and central heating. Unfortunately, although the hot water worked fine, the heating did not. After much time trying to understand the system and why, Jason attended to help out. Using his experience with heating systems, we quickly realised that the installation was in many ways strange and unique, meaning that we could not split the two systems. Eventually got the systems back up and running and am now looking to remove and update the whole system, for which I will be considering ProGas. Jason had a clean, respectful approach to the work, which is missing from a lot of other trades people.
