Craig fitted my new boiler and also solved a few other problems related to the old boiler at no extra cost. Very professional and friendly. He explained everything very well to someone who does not have a clue about boilers. I would recommend ProGas and already have to family. In future I will use ProGas for any gas maintenance or new appliances.

We had an old back boiler which was condemned and the job to remove it was a big job...removing the old boiler, fitting a new boiler and renewing all radiators and adding a new radiator in our living room. It was going to be a messy job and we were quoted 4 days to complete the work. From the very first time we met the team Craig was very professional and went through the whole process with us and provided us with our quotes. Day 1 of the work we were a little nervous about the scale of work however the team Chris and Harvey were fantastic. They were professional, friendly and left our home clean and tidy each night. We thought the work would be a nightmare but it was done so well. Just want to thank you all for the job you did and I have recommended you to friends who are looking to have gas work done. All work was completed within the time quoted and the price for all the work was good too. There were no hidden costs....no mess...and we now have hot water and heating which is fabulous!! Craig's initial visit to assess and inform what work could be undertaken to upgrade our boiler and central heating was very thorough as was the detailed report of the options and costing. Chris and apprentice Harvey worked over 4 days to remove all water tanks from the loft, install new pipework and new tank in the airing cupboard for the sealed system and a modern and efficient boiler. All radiators were 'flushed' and balanced and throughout the guys worked very hard and were always polite. A week later a teething problem was dealt with without question. I cannot fault this company for customer service and the calibre of the workforce.

The engineer (Jason) rang to see if it was OK to call earlier than the appointment time, which was fine. He was very professional and the work was completed to a very good standard. Everything left clean and tidy. He explained everything that was required regarding the service and invoicing. He had time to answer a query that I raised regarding a rad in my hallway. Brill company and engineers.

Technician arrived on time and undertook the work with a minimum of fuss or intrusion. The areas were left clean and tidy. Technician was very approachable and polite.

I just can't rate ProGas highly enough. Excellent service from initial enquiry to invoice. Fitting a new boiler and associated replacement radiators. Craig arrived when he said he would and the workmanship from Craig, Chris and his apprentice Harvey was second to none. Extremely courteous and very clean workers, you just can't go wrong with them. When I had to go out for work and arrived back home I couldn't even tell they had been there working. It's a shame more companies aren't like ProGas.

From the intial contact to the day of the cooker installation, this ProGas have been fantastic. They’re friendly and reliable and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I have not used ProGas before but would have no hesitation in making use of them again for any gas and heating requirements. The response to my initial request was impressive with a same-day appointment and excellent comms in terms of when and who would be coming to service the central heating boiler. The engineer Jason and his apprentice partner completed a very thorough inspection and service and their general approach and manner was excellent. I would have no hesitation in strongly recommending ProGas to family and friends or indeed anyone in need of a high-quality response to gas and heating needs.

We asked ProGas to discuss the work and quote because they are "Trusted Traders" and Worcester Bosch accredited. Craig's knowledge to specify in detail, a system that would satisfy our needs was evident. We went ahead and on the specified day Chris and Harvey arrived to be followed in minutes by a supplier with all the goods - very efficient. Their work ethic, attention to detail, cleanliness and consideration for the customer was top class. Chris's pipe work should be put on display! The result is a heating system that does exactly what we want (we are pernickety) and looks good. Recommend them - definitely

Craig installed my Combi boiler back in 2019 and has serviced it each year since then. Pro gas are very professional, reliable and friendly. All work is completed to a very high standard with no mess. Would highly recommend.

My husband had just returned from hospital following a heart attack and we we had a problem with the boiler, I gave Progas a ring and Craig came out the following day, and serviced the boiler and gave all the radiators the once over. He was here on time very efficient and very polite at all times, I would not hesitate to call them out again.

Pro Gas won our business due to the very thorough and professional initial inspection and excellent product knowledge and consideration of our specific requirements. Their quote was detailed and itemised. The installer was punctual polite and efficient. Aftercare has been fast and efficient. We had a minor problem with the balancing of the radiators which was resolved quickly.

Highly recommend this company. We contacted ProGas on the recommendation of a friend. They arranged a visit for the initial quote - this was confirmed by email that included the name of the person attending and then reminder sent the day before the appointment. The quote was clear and detailed and the advice provided regarding the appropriate boiler size for the property was much appreciated as the old boiler was massively over capacity! The date for fitting was confirmed and again we were given the names of the fitters who would be completing the work. The actual boiler and radiator work was completed on scheduled. An unrelated issue was identified with the immersion heater but the fitter ensured we had heat and hot water available and we were put on a priority visit for the next day when this was resolved. All the staff were polite, well presented and very professional. Excellent communication by text, email and telephone with good office response times. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this company. Great professional service.

A brilliant experience with ProGas. We only had a very simple task to complete but the interaction was professional, seamless, and completed on time.

We found ProGas after an online search for local heating engineers. This being our first time using ProGas their communication regarding the work to be done was first class. Craig the engineer arrived on time. When the service was completed Craig advised me of problems that will require attention in the near future and would advise me of a quotation for the work. I was satisfied with the expertise Craig showed and I am happy with the job he has done.

We had our boiler serviced during the cold weather spell before Christmas, I didn't think we would get anyone as it was a very busy time but Craig came and was very nice, polite and friendly. Fabulous work by Chris and apprentice Harvey. They arrived promptly on time and worked through on both days. The work was carried out professionally and competently. Chris was patient and thorough in instructing Harvey (happy birthday for today Harvey!) and both were polite and friendly. Niggles from a previous installation (by British Gas!) were overcome with patience and they also dealt with uneven walls, stuck on tiles, and difficult access. The job was left clean and tidy and even the scrap old boiler was taken away promptly. We would definitely recommend ProGas to friends & colleagues.

My 80yr old mother had a problem with her boiler that stopped working and left her in -5 conditions with no heating or hot water for an evening and night. I called Craig at 8 am and explained her situation by 9.30 Jason arrived and expertly diagnosed the problem and had it all working and she was toasty by 11 am. He also gave excellent care advise for the future. I can not recommend Progas highly enough for their response efficiency and professional service.

This was not the first time we’d used Progas but it was the biggest job they’ve done for us to date. Craig was helpful and professional throughout, talking us through what was needed, detailing what he’d done, and being endlessly patient in explaining the technical aspects of the new system. Both Craig and Faye took time to ensure that we were happy with the new kit, with Craig offering to come back and re-site the programmer if needed. We are always happy with the service we get from Progas and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Professional from the first phone call .Craig came for a survey , answered all my questions and explained central heating in laymans terms .Chris installed the whole system including radiators meticulously with no mess at all nothing left behind . Great service from ProGas again. Easy to contact, turn up on time, explain things clearly, clean and tidy and respectful of our home, very reasonable prices. On the rare occasion they have not been able to make an appointment, they phone/email/text to explain and bend over backwards to rearrange. When Craig hurt his back and couldn't attend once, he phoned personally to apologise (on top of earlier messages from the ProGas office which had already kept us informed) and sounded gutted to have to postpone the appointment. ProGas supplied and fitted the boiler too and were head and shoulders better than the firm of numpties which our home insurers sent out after our old boiler failed. ProGas appear to (and I'm sure do) value their business and reputation and customers. Highly recommended.

I have subscribed to Which? magazine for more than 40 years but only recently made use of the Which Trusted trader website. From my initial contact with Office Manager Faye to the visit of Craig to assess the job and his prompt submission of a detailed itemised quote, my wife and I were most impressed with the professionalism of this Company. The subsequent installation work carried out by Chris and Harvey was equally impressive and we would have no hesitation in highly recommending Progas Gas Engineers. In these challenging times when so many of the country's services are dysfunctional it was a pleasure to do business with such an excellent, well-run, small family business.

We have had a new boiler and some radiators replaced by ProGas. The cost of the job was well within my expectations of the cost. The work was started on time and the engineer (Chris) explained what would be happening and in what order. The job was completed within the agreed time scale. The exercise started as a boiler service but when Progas did the various required tests it became necessary to install a new boiler. All quotes were submitted quickly and were detailed. The various operatives involved arrived at the designated time, carried out their work efficiently and explained each stage. On nearing completion they went round checking the installation and left everywhere clean and tidy. Each member of the team was pleasant, respectful and obviously very knowledgeable I would have no hesitation in recommending Progas for any heating work.

With many local Gas Safe contractors to choose from, we decided to seek out a Which Trusted Trader and found Progas. Craig visited as arranged to discuss our requirements and provided his recommendations with a fully detailed quote arriving via email within hours. Being happy with the quote, we booked the work around mutual availability, and Craig and Harvey turned up on time and worked hard on a nice, tidy job and kept within the three days quoted for the work. Old equipment, scrap and all rubbish was removed each day. On completion, Craig gave us a fully detailed explanation of the new installation along with how the new controls work (the pipework is a work of art too). We will now cancel our existing national provider for heating cover / servicing and stay local with Progas, and we’re more than happy to recommend them if you’re considering their services.

We contacted ProGas to arrange our annual service and received a reply very quickly with a potential date. We received an email the day before and a call from the engineer, Jason fifteen minutes before his punctual arrival. The service was thorough and efficient and Jason was very friendly too. All work carried out was expertly done with minimum disruption and with care of the existing property inside and out. The fitter was smart and friendly.

Contacted 8 June ,arranged to have our boiler serviced and the daughters boiler service. The work was carried out efficient and reasonably priced.other work was picked up on inspection and a date was arranged.the jobs have been carried out to a very high standard and Jason the plumber was very efficient and polite.A credit to the company, highly recommended the company.

After our 30 year old service boiler was finally condemned, we invited ProGas to quote for not only a new boiler but also to move its location to free up some space in the kitchen. From the initial site visit, quotation and installation the service has been brilliant. Craig the proprietor came out to perform the initial survey and was honest, knowledgeable and approachable. At no point was there any hard sell, upselling or trying to push us to a solution that we didn't want e.g. keeping the hot water cylinder. The installation was planned around our existing commitments and took three days. Chris and Harvey the installers worked solidly for those three days, they were tidy and polite. Again if we had any questions Chris would take time to explain in plain and simple terms why things were done a certain way, and went out of his way to keep pipes hidden and the lifting of carpets and floorboards to a minimum. This is especially true of the condensate drain pipe which he managed to tuck right in next to the bathroom waste pipe. Once the installation was completed Chris took time to explain all the features of the new boiler and also tips on how other customers use their boiler features, Eco Pre Heat, Holiday function etc. The old boiler and other waste was removed from the site on the last day of the install. VERY impressive service from start to finish .

Progas did an excellent job. Chris arrived at the time that was arranged. He worked very diligently and his work was excellent. He clearly understood what was required and was neat and tidy. Craig came to install the smart thermostat, as arranged and he also was neat and tidy. The operation of the new equipment was explained. In short, a really professional job.

We decided to have the old boiler replaced with a new one. Contacted Progas for a quote. Craig arrived on time on the day arranged. Craig was very knowledgeable, explaining all of the options that could be undertaken, seeing that the location required changing. Several quotes were supplied, to cover all the variations that I had asked for. Start date and duration of work were provided once I had decided what I wanted. Chris the gas engineer arrived on time on the day organised. He was very professional and considerate of our home. Dust sheets were laid down to protect carpets and furnishings. All scrap and waste materials were removed from my property promptly. Upon completion of the installation of the boiler, radiators and valves, Chris explained how the new boiler worked and also went over the new control system. We are very pleased with the standard of workmanship and the company as a whole. I would definitely recommend this company to other people.

We felt we were dealing with highly skilled professionals throughout. Communication was also excellent. Our boiler had failed its routine service. It was at least 15 years old, so we were philosophical about replacing it. After establishing our attitude to quality, the team recommended a product suitable for our household size. Installation was on a date agreed and done efficiently. A second visit was booked in to fit thermostatic valves to the old radiators. Ours is an old house and various problems arose during the visits. All were resolved calmly. We are very pleased with the outcomes. Administration was also efficient and pricing was transparent.

The task started out as a boiler service, however Jason soon discovered a few problem areas which resulted in the need to vent the system, repair air ingress issues, install a new valve and actuator and a boiler control module. Sadly whilst this solved the majority of the problems we are currently waiting for the gas meter to be checked by Scottish Power, if this solves the outstanding problems ProGas have promised to return to complete the original problem. ProGas operatives are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and very easy to deal with. Jason explained the situation every step of the way. I wanted a more efficient boiler system than that was in my home, I looked for a locally run firm and came across ProGas. I contacted them and they quickly responded, and arranged a time to come out to estimate for the works required. I received a detailed estimate, and they included various payment options which I thought was a good idea. Having accepted the estimate we arranged an installation date, they sent both a text & email the day prior to first date of installation detailing the name of the engineer and time of arrival. The two engineers arrived on time each day, they worked very efficiently and left my home clean each day. They ensured the system was fully operational before leaving, completed the registration of the system and warranty, and went through how both the boiler and thermostat control worked. I would definitely recommend ProGas to anyone wanting work done.

I’ve had a boiler and fire service and both were done to my satisfaction. The engineer was on time, professional, polite and knowledgeable. He wore a mask and covered his shoes and provided covers, so area was left clean. I had a pigeon stuck behind my fire, which meant that was more urgent and Progas accommodated my request really quickly. ProGas came recommended via the NextDoor app from at least five local people. They came and replaced the boiler, pipework, flue, and did a powerflush. From the moment a ProGas engineer steps into your home you know they are professional and you feel assured that they will do an excellent job. The engineer wore a mask (Covid), covered his feet and lay covers throughout to protect the carpets and brought all the equipment and items needed for the job. He answered all out questions and carried out work efficiently and cleanly (even vacuuming the boiler cupboard once he had finish the work). I thoroughly recommend this company. We have seen different engineers from ProGas overtime and each works to the same high standards. Now we've found them, we will not be using another company again, it's only ProGas for us. Thank you.

Spoke to Faye to arrange a gas boiler and fire service. We booked a time and date and were told Jason would be our engineer. We received a reminder email two days before the appointment. On the day Jason phoned us to say he would be with us in ten minutes. The service’s we’re carried out to a high standard. Jason was clean and tidy and also answered all of our questions.

To try to assist my daughter, I fitted a Hive to control the hot water and central heating. Unfortunately, although the hot water worked fine, the heating did not. After much time trying to understand the system and why, Jason attended to help out. Using his experience with heating systems, we quickly realised that the installation was in many ways strange and unique, meaning that we could not split the two systems. Eventually got the systems back up and running and am now looking to remove and update the whole system, for which I will be considering ProGas. Jason had a clean, respectful approach to the work, which is missing from a lot of other trades people.

We had problems with our heating for sometime and other companies had struggled to understand the system we had. We then used Progas who were recommended to us by a friend. Our old boiler was insufficient and leaking however we could not find where from. Progas arrived investigated and the boiler needed changing. Craig diagnosed the problem and gave us solutions while we waited for a new boiler to be delivered to keep us warm and with hot water. When they fitted Chris and Paul did a great job, it turned out not to be a straightforward but they managed to get the fitting completed the same day. Overall got an honest assessment of what we needed to do, clear options and a good job fitting the boiler. Would definitely recommend.

This is the third time we have used ProGas.The first time was for a cooker, two gas fires and boiler service and a landlord's certificate. We were very impressed with the service we received from talking to Faye and booking the necersary work to the work being carried out. Since then Craige has come out on short notice to repair the boiler. We have just had a new boiler and system flush done by Craige & Chris and once again the whole experience was a pleasure. We needed to have an external gas pipe moved as it was being pinched when the driveway gates were opened. The firm came out to quote for the job the next day and we’re able to fit us in quickly. We received a call on the morning of the job from the engineer to let us know he was on the way even though he was on time. The work was done to an excellent standard with no mess left behind. From start to finish I found ProGas to be a very professional business. Their website including booking facility worked extremely well. Jason arrived on time and completed a very thorough service of both the boiler and fire, finding and replacing a badly worn combustion seal. Our combi-boiler was not producing hot water and our breakdown company let us down badly. So I decided to try Progas for the first time. From the first point of contact with Faye in the office to the completion of the work by Jason I was impressed with the speed and efficiency of the operation. Had our new boiler fitted today. The two lads were courteous, clean workers. Our new Worcester Bosch is lovely. The lads took time to explain the full workings of the boiler and the easy control to me. I have found ProGas to be very efficient from beginning to end.

We have used Progas for 3 years. They fitted a new boiler and unvented cylinder in 2018. We had several other firms quote for the job, none gave us the detailed explanation of our options and costs that Progas did. Add to that the very competitive price and it was a no brainer. We have used them for annual services and some other jobs since. They turn up when they say they will, work quickly, tidily, talk you through everything and their pricing remains very competitive. They are very polite and friendly and respectful of the fact it is our home. If you are reading this then look no further you have found the best!

Another great job done for us by Progas - this time a new boiler installed and an upgrade to airing cupboard. We were given a detailed estimate, and all our questions answered. It's so nice to come across a company that does exactly what was promised when it was agreed, with very pleasant staff and the work thoughtfully carried out by a polite and considerate engineer. Old boiler had stopped working and the cold spell was approaching fast. ProGas were contacted having read positive reviews on service & reliability. Craig came out when he said he would and confirmed our suspicion that the boiler was terminally ill. In pricing the new boiler replacement, ProGas took our budget and requirements into account before agreeing a good price and installation date. The work conducted by Jason on the agreed day was excellent. Both Craig and Jason were very polite and conducted their work in difficult circumstances. Jason even came to fix a related problem the next day. Very happy with all aspects of their work and would not hesitate to use ProGas again should the need arise, Highly recommended!

Jason was friendly and professional. He called ahead to check some details on some valves that needed replacing so he had them in advance. Explained to a novice (me!) what the boiler parts that needed replacing were and why. Faye replied to my emails and booked in the initial appointment quickly and with no fuss.

This was the best experience I've ever had with a tradesman. Craig is organised, pleasant, communicates well and his work is of the very highest standard. Our boiler was not in a good place due to a poor installation which someone else had done- Craig did an amazing job sorting it all out and it now works a treat. First time I’ve used Progas, glad I did. I had a new boiler fitted and towel warmer to replace a radiator in my bathroom. Craig arrived at the time given and was polite and informed me what was required gave me a quote and agreed day to do the work Chris the engineer turned up and was most polite and the information he gave was good. I would be happy to recommend ProGas to others. I called Chris mid-morning on 19/07/21 as the gas boiler showed a fault code regarding the flow/return sensor, and there was no hot water or heating. Chris called back within 10 minutes, as promised. He explained there was a callout/diagnostic fee of £75 which covered the first hour including labour but that if the fault code could be quickly cleared without any parts needed then the £75 could cover the cost of servicing the boiler. This cost is comparable to other companies in the area. I agreed and he advised Jason would be with me that afternoon. Jason arrived on time and quickly tested various things and reset the boiler. He checked the heating pump operation and the temperature differential. He bled the radiators and checked and cleaned the magna clean filter, checked the gas meter for leaks etc. and serviced the boiler, completing the service record afterwards. Jason was friendly, respectful and professional. He wore a mask throughout his visit, and shoe protectors each time he entered the property. He worked quickly but thoroughly and explained each thing he was doing/about to do as he went along. He explained the sensitivity of the boiler, why the code would have appeared and what I should do in the unlikely event that it reappeared. I chose to use their online payment system after the visit and it was quick and easy to use.

The team at ProGas were very quick to reply to my initial inquiry, kept me well informed at all times and presented multiple options for the replacement of a new Boiler system to help me get the best value. All options were presented clearly and fully outlined all work that would be needed and done alongside unambiguous pricing. Throughout the install, the team were punctual, friendly and tidy. I have used ProGas in the past for other work requirements and had an excellent experience which leads me to choose them again to sort my new Boiler. Being new to the area and needing a review of the gas boiler I inherited when I moved in I looked online for companies with 5* ratings. ProGas had nothing but 5* reviews so it was an easy choice to ask for advice. Craig visited and looked over my system and together (and I emphasise together, no hard sell or pushing) we decided to install a new boiler. This was completed about 3 weeks later by Chris and Jason. I could go on about courtesy, politeness, cleanliness, helpfulness, value for money and so on - and indeed all were excellent - but suffice it to say this is a 5*+ company and I have no hesitation in recommending them to anybody who wants a first class job. Nice people doing a great job. Brilliant.

Thanks to Jason for the professional, personable, helpful service provided while servicing my boiler. I could have probably got this done a little cheaper but I will be happy to rebook next year's service based on what appeared to be a thorough job, compared to some of the flying visits I have experienced in the past. The ProGas team are fantastic from start to finish. This is the second time I have used them, first to install a gas hob and this time to supply and install a neat thermostat. Faye was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable when I was enquiring about smart thermostats. I’d originally booked in before lockdown, but Faye kept in touch and as soon as they were able they slotted me in. They used a text reminder service which is helpful too. Craig came and fitted both and is so lovely even with my cat bothering him! He is tidy, cares for your home by wearing overshoes and using blankets to protect worktops and explains what he is doing with you and asks for your opinion on things. Good price for a great service. 100% recommend ProGas.

Craig was very prompt in giving us a very reasonable quote for a replacement boiler and some replacement radiators. We arranged a date with Faye ,his wife , who was very friendly and helpful. Extremely pleased with the work undertaken by ProGas from the initial contact right through to completion. We had our old combi boiler replaced and all the existing thermostatic radiator valves. They were competitive with a clear and concise quotation and no hidden surprises. Nothing was too much trouble and Chris was very punctual, efficient, professional, and friendly. Everywhere was left clean and tidy, we would have no hesitation in recommending them.

It’s always a daunting experience trying to find good quality tradesman to complete work and I’m not the easiest person to please as I have a keen eye for detail and like things to be just so. I came across ProGas on check a trade and the first thing I was attracted too was the quality of the website for a small family run business. The second thing that grabbed my attention was the 5 star reviews of which I read quite a few. I was contacted by Faye, Faye was professional and friendly on the phone and instantly made me feel comfortable. Faye arranged for Craig to come and quote for the works. Craig arrived on time and introduced himself. As with all the other companies I had quote I described to Craig what I wanted to achieve as the old boiler and pipe work where quite unsightly. The difference between Craig and other companies was that Craig actually listened to what I wanted to achieve. I feel it is vital that you can strike up a good rapport with someone that you are going to have in your house and I felt this was instantaneous with Craig. I had already decided before Craig left that I wanted him to do the work, I was even more pleased when I received the quote, extremely competitive. ProGas was recommended to me by a family member. On first contact to arrange the work, Faye handled my enquiry in a very professional manner and was able to offer me an appointment for the work within a couple of days. Craig arrived at the appointed time to do a service and clean on my very old Baxi Brazilia gas fire and two Baxi Bermuda wall mounted heaters. The work was done very professionally and knowledgeable and with no mess, even though there was a large amount of soot behind the fire. I feel that the service was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for Craig. I am very happy to fully recommend ProGas to anyone for the fine job done for me so promptly and reasonably and at a very fair cost!

Arrived on time and work was completed to schedule. This was important as the elderly house owner was staying with us to relieve tension and stress Property was left in a tidy condition and all rubbish and old gear was removed. Handover with explaining the modified system was excellent with existing controls left as was, so elderly house owner was not befuddled with new devices.
