The work was done quickly, to a high standard and for a very good price. Roy was helpful, efficient and friendly. We highly recommend him.

Roy built two sets of bookshelves for us in alcoves, and a more substantial freestanding bookcase. We are delighted with his work. He responded quickly to emails, turned up early, was neat and tidy and cleaned up before leaving. Most importantly, the shelves are all of excellent quality. Roy takes pride in his work and was a pleasure to have in the house. When we changed our mind about something after he'd finished and been paid, he even came back and good-naturedly changed it, within two days. Fantastic.

Roy’s work is excellent. He did a great job (at very short notice) of removing a section of a bookcase to enable an engineer to remove and replace our gas flue which was boxed in within the bookcase. Roy then returned to fit new and easily removable panels when required. These he had made himself to match the original. The result is brilliant and neat and we hope to use Roy again in the near future. We would highly recommend him.

I needed four kitchen worktops replaced in a rental property in Kidlington so contacted Roy by email. Roy responded very quickly and a date was set to complete the work. I purchased the worktops independently and as the property was empty left a set of key with Roy so he could gain access to suit. Work was then completed early and the standard was excellent (including replumbing in the sink etc). Very please with the work and would definitely recommend Roy to anyone and would certainly use gain. Thank you.

Roy's work was excellent, he arrived early each day was very neat and tidy, The work was completed early. He did everything that was agreed and a few extra bits that were needed as well. Roy is friendly and pleasant and i will use him again.

Roy built beautiful bespoke cabinets which matched the Grand Illusions dresser perfectly. He added detail to the cabinets which made it seem like the in-built cabinets were part of the original Georgian building. Roy is totally trustworthy, friendly and helpful - and his workmanship is of the highest quality.

Roy fitted eight internal doors, and made a bespoke door to match them for a much smaller sized understairs cupboard. They look great! None of my over fifty year old door frames were the exact size for the doors and Roy made amazing professional adjustments to both the doors and frames and the result is amazing. Very good value for money, he is the tidiest tradesman I have ever known, his timekeeping is excellent and his communication and customer service outstanding. I highly recommend him and will definitely use him again.

Roy has fitted a cupboard, shelving and built in wardrobes for me. I'm really impressed by him and pleased with the work. He is reasonably priced and worked very efficiently so that he finished earlier than expected and was able to charge me less than he had originally quoted. The work is of very good quality and I am already planning another job with him.

Roy fitted our new IKEA kitchen and tiled, for an excellent price. He works hard and fast, he'll cheerfully go that bit further to give you what you need and he has the depth of experience to find his way round problems. And he's very tidy, too. We'll definitely be using Roy again for carpentry jobs.

Roy replaced the internal doors in my parents house. Despite the fact that some of the existing door frames were not perfect the end result was exceptional. From the initial quotation to completion of the work Roy was a pleasure to deal with, he was also tidy and organised whilst onsite. Highly recommended.

Roy made short work of an awkward job involving making an existing aperture for a hob larger, to accommodate a new one. He is obviously very knowledgeable and experienced and made sure that everything was done to a high standard. I would definitely recommend Roy and would use him again.

Roy has just built some shelves and a cupboard and also some bespoke wardrobe doors in my cottage. I am absolutely delighted with the end product.His work is of an extremely high standard and I would not hesitate recommending him. He is courteous punctual,has some great ideas and very creative.

Roy made & fitted a new utility sink worktop, which looks beautiful - perfectly fitted and he managed to find time to give it the 3 coats of oil recommended. He also converted our current back door into a stable door, which looks brilliant. It was an awkward size, but he worked solidly through the day to get it done on time & it's a great bit of work. Just what we were hoping for. Will be using Roy again for any future jobs.

We really can't recommend Roy highly enough. We'd recently moved in and needed some doors cut and hung which he did in no time at all. Then asked if he could make some bookshelves as well as wooden shelving in a small closet. He quoted a reasonable price and had the job finished in two days shortly thereafter. The materials were high quality and the craftsmanship exceptional, especially the finishing, which was so nice we decided not have them painted after all. A really pleasant person (no qualms about leaving him the keys) and very tidy. We certainly wouldn't hesitate to contact him again and would certainly recommend to family, friends or anyone looking for an exceptional carpenter. Oxfordshire

Roy Hogg built a number of shelves for me in unusual spaces (such as under the staircase). The work was done to perfection. He clearly takes great pride in his work and was highly creative in his solutions to the problems posed by the unusual spaces in which the shelves had to go. He always arrived when he said he would and worked efficiently and considerately. He is good natured and good humoured and I enjoyed the discussions I had with him. It was a pleasure to have him in the house. The price he charged for the work was surprisingly low, better than reasonable. I would recommend him to anyone.

Roy changed all the doors in our house even though they were non standard sizes and made a really excellent job of it. They look much better than we expected due to his skills and carried out the work quickly and efficiently so disruption in the house was minimal.He doesn't leave your house in a mess either. We are absolutely delighted with the bookcase Roy has built for us. It is finished to an extremely high standard and exactly what we planned. He worked in a tidy and timely manner with a very keen eye for accuracy. He happily talked things through as it progressed and we are so thrilled that we have asked him to build us a second one.

Roy was prompt at giving us a competitive quote, we accepted this on the balance of personality and experience, the work was carried out in a timely manner with the minimum of disruption to us, the quality of workmanship was impressive. Roy is reliable, and trustworthy but most of all, he is professional and produces amazing work. He fitted some really tricky fire doors for me. I am so happy with the end results. My Oak doors look beautiful! I have already booked Roy in for more work. He has a waiting list but that proves his high standard of work.
